Kabeer says to Zara that why did she involve herself in this matter? it’s dangerous. Zara says it’s a small injury and she’s not involving, but working for women’s rights. Ayesha says let’s discuss it later.
Miraj stops Nilofar and asks what drama she is doing? Nilofar says ask the person that she sent behind him.
Kabeer is going to the Mosque, Zara says one minute, I am going with you. Kabeer says no. Zara says you don’t want me to go or you can’t take me? It’s women right to offer prayers. Kabeer says there is no place for women in mosque. Zara says if there was place there, then you would have let me go? Kabeer glares at her and says never. He leaves from there. Zara takes her burqa and goes.
Kabeer is offering prayers in the Mosque with other men. Zara comes inside with her women. They put a curtain to create separation from men. Kabeer is stunned to see her. All men look on. Zara says to Kabeer that now, women will have entry and partition in this mosque, and she doesn’t think anyone should have an issue now. Zara offers prayers with women in the Mosque. The Men ask Kabeer what is happening here? He’s a Vice Priest, stop them! Kabeer says they are offering prayers, so they can’t disturb them. The Man asks if he is silent, because it’s his Wife? Kabeer says they are praying to God, they can discuss all this later. Zara completes her prayers. All the men leave from there. Zara is happy.
Zara is leaving with the women from the Mosque when the Priest stops them. Kabeer comes there. The Priest says his Wife didn’t do the right thing, as women don’t have any place in Mosques. Zara says Islam give us the right to have a place in the Mosque. Kabeer says she is just saying that, we don’t have to change traditions. Zara says yes it’s important to change them. All the men start shouting. Kabeer asks Zara to take the women away from there, the men are getting angry.
One Priest says to Zara that she’s the Chairman’s daughter, so we didn’t do anything, but we won’t let you enter the Mosque again. Zara says Mosque isn’t their personal property, we can go there when we want.
Kabeer says we are stretching this matter, I understand that women can spoil Mosque’s environment, and Sharia board will take decision on it tomorrow. All the men leave. The Media gathers around Kabeer and Zara. They ask Kabeer what he has to say about the Mosque issue? Does Islam allow women to pray in Mosque? Kabeer holds Zara’s arm and is tensed.
Zeenat gets Shahbaz’s call and turns on the TV. Zara says to the Reporter that praying in Mosque is our right and no one can take it away. Kabeer says let’s wait until tomorrow. He drags Zara from there. He pulls Zara aside, and glares at her and leaves.
On Tv, the Reporter says that Zara led the women team to offer Prayers in Mosque today. Ayesha sees Zara and Kabeer on TV, and Zara giving statement that they have the right to pray.
The News talk shows, starts arguing over the matter. One Priest on the show says that the Mosque environment will tarnish when the women enter there. Other female Priest says that Zara’s thoughts are revolutionary. Irfan and Salma watches the TV. Irfan says our Zara have been passionate since the start. Salma says why did she go to the Mosque? I never went there, but your daughter has to put herself in every matter, she is married, so she shouldn’t be worrying about all this, but her house, let Men handle those issues.
Kabeer comes home. Ayesha asks if he is alone? where is Zara? Kabeer goes to his room and locks it, he throws away a chair and gets angry. He sits down and thinks.
Zara comes home, Alina says we saw that you offered prayers in the Mosque. Zara looks on and answers if Kabeer is home? Alina says yes, but he is very angry. Ayesha says thanks a lot Zara for doing this, for fighting for women’s rights, we kept thinking about it but you have done it, I am proud of you, she gets emotional and says I worry about you, Zara smiles at her. Ayesha prays for her and kisses her hand. Zara hugs her and thanks her. Zara goes from there.
Zara comes to Kabeer and asks why he’s against this, it’s allowed in Islam. Kabeer says I will never support this. Zara says you want to debate with me? Kabeer says I just want to tell you that Men make women’s life, they give them a good lifestyle and so many things, so you all should respect them and should back out of this. Zara recalls how she promised women that they will not back out, because of men’s pressure. Zara says no, I promised women of this city to be with them and give them the right which men took from them. Kabeer gets angry, he grabs her hand and pulls her to the lounge.
Alina asks Ayesha if she ever offered prayers in the Mosque? Ayesha says no it was not allowed in our days.
Kabeer brings Zara there, he makes her sit in the Car. Ayesha asks where he is taking her? Kabeer doesn’t listen to her and drives away. Ayesha asks where did they go? Imran says I don’t know.
Kabeer brings Zara to Irfan’s house and drags her there. Salma is tensed. Kabeer greets them. Irfan asks what’s the matter? did you two fight? Kabeer says ask her. Irfan asks Zara. Zara says nothing, like always, a man is trying to prove to a woman by grabbing her wrist that a woman is weaker than a man, but it’s not true Kabeer Ahmed. Kabeer glares at her and says you want to listen to the truth, I don’t want to show my power on women, but you are trying to become a leader than a daughter, wife or daughter-in-law. Zara says why? Only men can be the leader? Kabeer says fine, become the leader, do your politics, but don’t forget your religion. Zara says I didn’t forget anything, but you men, who has the right to make rules, wants to take all the rights from women because of one hadith, and doesn’t want them to even go to the Mosque.
Irfan says I don’t understand why you are fighting right now, we will talk about this in Sharia board tomorrow. Kabeer turns to leave and says fine, till this debate ends, Zara will stay here and I will stay on the otherside, do what you want, he slams the door and leaves. Salma asks Zara to stop Kabeer, Zara says I don’t want to stop him, I accept his challenge, she goes to her room.
Kabeer comes home. Ayesha is tensed and worried for him. She asks him where Zara is, and he tells that he has left her at her Parent’s place, and leaves there to his room. Alina wonders what could have caused Kabeer to leave her over there. Ayesha thinks someone must have cast an evil eye on her. Zeenat and Nilofar smirks.
Zara is thinking as to why Kabeer behaved that way with her, right on front of her Parents, saying if he had told her to go back, then she’d have gone to her Parent’s place without them having them know what has transpired between them. She says Kabeer clearly doesn’t understand her, and she would remain here, until she comes to pick her up, himself.
Kabeer on the other hand, says to himself that Zara is so rigid, and he would take that stubbornness away from her!
Zara and Kabeer are both thinking of each other, and the moment they have spent together. Kabeer tries to give her a call, but then recollect what happened in the Mosque, during the day, and decides to not call her again. Zara also keeps staring at her Phone, but recollects what Kabeer said in her Parent’s present about her being mote interested in being a leader, instead of a good wife, daughter or daughter-in-law.
Zeenat and Nilofar cohort together.
Salma scolds Irfan about allowing Zara to do whatever she pleases! Irfan in his room alone, thinks Zara is one of those people that can’t tolerate injustice.
Zara is offering Prayers, her mother sees her and comes close to her, praying that may God give her daughter sense to do the right thing, and save her marriage that’s fallen apart, and says Amen. Zara tells her Mother to not worry about her marriage. Salma doesn’t listen, and says that Men do change Zara, and why does she have to go against him? Zara still tells her to not worry so much, and she’s going to the Sharia Board meeting. Salma thinks, that’s even if I allowed you.
Ayesha comes to Kabeer, and asks him why he acted that way with Zara? Kabeer says the only problem he has with Zara is that, whenever she feels that something is wrong, she doesn’t hesitate to voice it out. Ayesha says she’s happy he understands his Wife, and blesses him.
Kabeer and Zara work all night in their various place.
Irfan gets ready, and asks for where is gown is? Zara gives it to him, and mistakenly drops her phone. Salma sees him on his way and asks so early, as the meeting is later in the morning. He gives his reason and leaves. Zara tells Salma she has to go dress up too.
Nilofar tells Kabeer, she would like to go with him to the meeting, he refuses, but Ayesha tells him to let her go.
Salma locks Zara up in the room. She tells her she won’t let her go nowhere, and should go and patch things up with her husband, Kabeer at home. Zara tells her that if she decides to leave the door locked, then the hearing would only be postponed, and the longer the postponement, the longer she would stay far away from Kabeer, so it’s better she should please unlock the door, so that the case could be settled once and for, and she could get back to Kabeer. She leaves the door, and place her palm on her forehead, as she looks down, sad.
Salma opens the door, and Zara runs to hug her. She tells her, she ought to have known that her daughter is more forward than she is, and should try and understand her. Zara tells her that she would go with the driver then, but Salma corrects her to go in a cab, and settle the case, and go back to her in-law’s place with Kabeer in his Car. Zara agrees and smiles, she leaves in a hurry. Salma prays that may God protect Kabeer.
Kabeer comes in his Car, and the Men there protest that the law shouldn’t be altered, and hails that “Kabeer is the Man” He enters the Sharia board, and Irfan tells him of the men awaiting their decision.
Zara is in a Cab, she prays that she would be able to meet up.
Khalid asks from Kabeer about his wife, and that if she doesn’t come anytime soon, then the case would be totally closed.
Zara alight from the cab just then, and the Men Protest against the Women, saying “The person representing the Women is here”
