Kabeer comes to Zara and sees her coughing and puking. Kabeer takes her. He puts her in his car. Zara says I won’t go, I will not get checked by a Doctor. Zara says promise on my love, you have no money, where will you get money from? Kabeer drives away with Irfan and Salma. Zeenat says to Shahbaz that the drama has just began!
In the hospital, they wait for Kabeer to get his signature on the form. Kabeer comes there and says I had to get money from my earning. Shahbaz asks what??
Kabeer says I didn’t break your promise, Zara. Kabeer shows her his medal, he says I got it in Madarasa, it’s pure gold, it’s worth at least 20,000 so this is your husband’s earning. Zara is surprised. Kabeer says to Zara that we will get money from selling it, and we will use it for your treatment, they all smile. He gives it to Zara. Zara is stunned.
Kabeer wipes her tears. Zara says no, and gives him back his medal, she says this is your medal, you can’t sell it. Kabeer says this is my medal and I have decided to sell it. Zara says no. Kabeer doesn’t listen and signs on the form. He smiles at her.
Shahbaz asks Kabeer when he’s leaving for the Conference? He says I will leave in the morning. Zeenat says you can go home and we will take care of Zara. Ayesha says no, Zeenat you go home, Kabeer will stay here with Zara. Zeenat thinks that once Kabeer goes, then Zara will leave this world!
At night, Zara sits up on her head and calls Kabeer. She calls him and says you went to get my medicine? she sees thunderstorm and says come back soon.
Kabeer gets the medicine from the store. He meets his friend. His friend says this is my hotel. Kabeer says my wife is ill and in the hospital currently, and she can’t eat anything from outside, so can I please cook for her in your Kitchen, please? He says why not. Kabeer cooks for Zara in his friend’s Kitchen.
Zara calls the Nurse and asks for food, the Nurse says your husband asked to not send you food. She says he knows that I didn’t eat anything since morning, then why did he say that? She sees it’s heavily raining and waits for Kabeer.
Kabeer is running in the rain and getting really drenched. One car splashes dirt on him too.
Kashan gets a call from the lawyer and says no, just give me sometime. He ends the call and says I won’t let us bear my father’s mistake, there is only one way to get money now.
Zara offers namaz. Kabeer comes there and smiles. She sees him and says you are totally drenched. Kabeer says you said that you won’t get anything except from my earning, so I sold my medal and I got you food too. I made this food for you, it looks very nice. Zara smiles and says why are you so nice? Kabeer says because you are with me. Zara smiles and cleans him. Kabeer says did you puke? take these medicines. Zara says you made me fine, I am very hungry. Kabeer says let’s eat. They both sit down. They both feed food to each other. Tere bin song plays as they romance and share food.
Kabeer gives her medicine. He makes her lie in bed. She sees him getting cold and goes to him. She rubs his hands. He smiles at her. Zara says today’s food was the best food of my life. She kisses his hand. He says you are lying. She says no. She takes off his shawl and hugs him. He wraps the shawl around them. Zara says you brought ingredients, you made food for me, this was the best food for me, you didn’t understand me, I never wanted tons of money, and even if you give me 5000 for a month, I would be the happiest, I will use it with pride, I loved you the most, and I swear on you.
Zara looks into his eyes and says my mission is not to irritate you, and you shouldn’t have asked anyone to selling that medal, since it was yours, and having your own stand is good, it’s good to be with one’s father, but being financially independent is really important, as time can change.
Kabeer says can you forget all this for a time being, forget about our fights… He kisses her forehead. The Nurse comes there, so they both separate. Kabeer wraps Zara in his shawl. The Nurse laughs. Kabeer says I gave her medicine. She leaves. Kabeer laughs. Zara eyes him and goes to bed.
Shahbaz asks Kashan if he has gone mad?? We can’t put the house as collateral. Kashan says we got two notices, you didn’t pay dues, and these notices has my name on it, what if they arrest me when it was you who took all these decisions? Shahbaz says I will manage all this. Kashan says we didn’t get any financier, so we just have to put this house as collateral. Shahbaz says I put some money in special reserve fund. Kashan thinks that I have kept them for money, so that when Shahaz lose everything, then I will use them and go my separate way.
Kashan says yes, they are in the Account, they are used for business, trust me. Shahbaz says I know, but we have to do something now. Kashan signs on the debt papers and says we can put this house as collateral until we are able to arrange the money, it needs yours and Kabeer’s signatures. Shahbaz says what will we tell Kabir? Kashan says he doesn’t know anything, we will get his signature.
Shahbaz is tensed but takes the debt papers from Kashan and signs it.
Kabeer sees Zara sleeping and thinks that she is very stubborn, even to get her to the hospital was hard, l we have different thoughts, but I never forced her like this.
Shahbaz looks at his house and says I am in trouble, if Kabeer walks on the world path to save this house, then what about my dream of making Kabeer the Qazi of this City? and what about the 500 Million Singapore Project that I lost, I didn’t get Zakat money from the Sharia board. He recalls Zara’s words that he can’t use Kabir. He thinks Zara can’t stop me, I have to use Kabeer to get that money!
Kabeer thinks that if Zara doesn’t leave her stance, then what will I do? I sold my medal, but I don’t have anything of my own again to sell.
Kashan comes to the hospital and asks Kabeer to sign on the papers. Kabeer sees them and says you are putting our house as Collateral? Kashan says we need it for business, it doesn’t concern you, you keep doing your religious work, and sign on the papers.
Kabeer says you are talking about our house, where we grew up, this isn’t about business, I am not signing these papers. Kashan shouts that how dare you not sign them??? You know nothing about business, so just sign on this form, it’s just a formality! I and Shahbaz have already signed and the decision have already been made. Kabeer tears the form and says I will never sign it, this is my decision, I will not let you put my house on debt!
All the Servants comes to Zara in her ward to ask about her health. Zara says you people are here? The Servant says you really take good care of us. All the poor people from the poor society comes there too. Kabeer stands there.
A man says to Kabeer that we thank you so much for sending blankets, Zara even gave us job in her father’s printing press, we needed that a lot. Another woman says to Zara that we pray to God bless your lives too, as you have made our lives easier. They all leave. Kabeer looks on.
Zara holds his hand and makes him sit down, she says did you see how you helped them through religion and I helped them for worldly things and together we brought happiness in their lives, I was telling you this that you should make life in this world alongside religion. Kabeer looks on and leaves.
Kabeer meets Shahbaz and says what’s the big trouble that we have to put our house as Collateral? what is the big deal? You didn’t tell me because you wanted me to walk on religion path? but religion says that if we don’t help our Parents, then everything else is useless. Shahbaz says this is my son, we can get it back on track, but I am lucky to have a Son like you.
Kashan comes there and says to Kabeer that you can just talk and can’t even earn a penny, your wife even left and live like a poor person in the out house, and he didn’t still earn a penny! I earn for this house, his wife did hunger strike, went to the hospital, but he still didnt do anything about earning money for her treatment!
Kabeer says money can come and go, but this house is our pride, it’s our ancestor’s house and I will never let it be sold. Kashan says why do you have so much ego? let me show your worth, you are just a graduate from madarasa, you tore this form, but go and earn even 1000 rs and then show me your worth after that!
Shahbaz says enough! don’t insult him, I stopped him from earning, otherwise he can earn way more than you. Kashan gets angry and leaves. Kabeer is hurt. Shahbaz caresses his shoulder and tries to console him.
Kabeer comes to Zara’s ward. She asks where he was? Kabeer recalls Kashan’s bitter words and how Zara kept telling him to earn and stand on his own, he recalls his cruelty. He runs to her and hugs her tightly. She asks what happened? Kabeer shows her ashes in a box and says this is ashes of clothes that I burned, I thought you will break when I burn your clothes, I thought you won’t be able to live without them, but I was wrong, this is a proof of my hatred, touch this ash and turn it into love, pray that I start understanding your thoughts more easily. Zara touches it. Kabeer says this is your victory.
Zara says no, it’s our victory, there is no me and you in love. Kabeer says you are right, today I got insulted by Kashan and learned my lesson, he is putting the house on debt and I can’t even do a thing about it. Zara is stunned.
Kabeer says you kept telling me to walk on the worldly path, as time can change anytime, but it changed and I am not yet ready, you were right that religion and world can only run together, the poor people were right, I just gave them clothes, but you gave them opportunity to run their Kitchens for life, you gave them source of food, you were right, but I didn’t understand it, I didn’t even listen to my wife, I gave my life to my nation, but I didn’t take care of my family, I wished I had listened to you before, I went against you, did so much against you, but you didn’t say a word, you didn’t complain and you just kept bearing it. He touches her forehead and says forgive me, you will never lose again, as from today, I will involve both religion and the world in my life, not just 1000, I will earn many thousands and show them everything.
Kabeer says to Zara that I am going to start walking on the worldly path along with religion from now on. Zara smiles and hugs him. He clutches her fingers in his. She says I waited for this day, you made my trust win, this is your victory, and your victory is my win too. Zara says to Kabeer that we are together now, and nobody can make us lose now. Kabeer hugs her and looks determined.
