Prabha turns and sees Ram ji. Ram greets Prabha. Prabha asks the Lord why he sent this man to ask for money? She sees the beggar and takes his blanket. She hides covering herself with that blanket. Ram tells his wife that Prabha was here, she went away, she has taken loan from me, I will get every penny from her! Prabha hides and runs. Ram sees her and goes after her.
Mehri asks Shanta to have Yoghurt.
She taunts Amma ji who never gives her. Shanta asks her why she didn’t add sugar? Mehri says I have added sugar. Shanta says sugar should be in yoghurt and on the tongue. Mehri goes to add more sugar. Madhvi comes and says she has set the room for Shanta. Shanta says Kanta (Amma ji) is very lucky, she got a very nice daughter-in-law. Amma ji says my Daughter-in-law is a cow. Shanta says I have seen you since childhood, you have a small heart, you don’t praise anyone and just get angry, if you say good words to daughter-in-law, it won’t be bad.
Amma ji says nothing like bad there. Shanta says don’t talk infront of me, you don’t even give anything to others.
She tells Madhvi that Kanta used to check sugarcane’s size and give the shortest to me, but she did not get sweet tongued till now. Mehri gets sugary Yoghurt. Amma ji holds her head. Madhvi says Amma ji gives a lot to us, she loves us. Shanta says you are satisfied, anyone else would have given her an answer and left. Sagar and Gangaa comes there. Shanta says she got peda/sweets for him. She feeds peda to Sagar. She asks what class are you? Sagar says 5th. Gangaa has puppy inside the cloth bag. Shanta asks Gangaa to take peda too. Amma ji signals to her no, and says Gangaa is a widow. Shanta says so what? Gangaa is a little girl, nothing will happen. Shanta gives her peda. Amma ji thinks her Aunt always outdoes me. Shanta asks Gangaa not to worry and eat the peda.
Sagar asks Amma ji for some money. Madhvi asks why? Sagar requests Amma ji. Amma ji gives him 100rs. Gangaa thinks they want 200rs. Shanta says see Sagar’s face, he wants more. She gives Sagar 200rs. Sagar and Gangaa get glad. Shanta calls Kanta a miser. Kanta says I’m not a miser, and gives 500rs to Sagar. Sagar gets surprised. Madhvi says Sagar will get spoiled. Amma ji says let him spoil, he is my grandson, don’t advice me, I will give more to Sagar if he says so. Sagar says no, thanks. Gangaa thanks the Lord. Sagar takes Madhvi’s permission and goes with Gangaa. Amma ji scolds Madhvi for sending Gangaa, without taking her permission. Amma ji gets annoyed and leaves. Shanta makes faces and signals to Madhvi to take it lightly.
Gangaa and Sagar get the puppy to the doctor. The doctor checks the puppy and asks what did he eat?
Gangaa says the puppy did not have water and cries. The doctor asks why she’s crying? Sagar says she’s the puppy’s mum and I’m the dad. The doctor asks why is he not crying then? Sagar says dads don’t cry, I’m supporting Gangaa. The doctor asks for the puppy’s name? Gangaa says Jalebi Prasad. The doctor laughs and says what an interesting name! He asks for what they fed the puppy? Sagar says biscuits. The doctor asks them to feed the puppy food/biscuits. Gangaa and Sagar start arguing. The doctor says don’t worry, I will give him small injection. Gangaa says it’s a big injection, we won’t allow it. The doctor says it’s necessary for his recovery. Sagar asks Gangaa to be strong.
Gangaa says fine, but slowly inject him, I know the puppy will be hurt. Gangaa holds Sagar’s hand and worries.
Ratan takes the offering box. Prabha comes and says she was here. He says I was taking the offering for Madhvi. She sees Ram ji coming and worries. Ram runs to her asking for his money. She thinks how to escape and hires an auto to go home. Ram ji says I will not leave her. Ratan asks Prabha why she didn’t negotiate, they could go home in 15rs instead of 20rs. She says her legs were aching and makes excuses. Yash calls their attention towards Sagar and Gangaa. Ratan asks the driver to stop the auto. Prabha says don’t stop. Yash says I have seen them with a puppy.
Gangaa and Sagar are on the way and are glad that Shanta has come home, and helped them. She asks why did Amma ji refuse to get Shanta Dadi at home, Shanta is so good. Sagar says Grandma (Amma ji) is after everyone, she scolds everyone. They have a talk and Gangaa jokes about Shanta.
Shanta tells Madhvi that Kanta has kept you away from your motherly rights, she is so dominating. She says Kanta is my sister, but what is wrong is wrong, she is lucky to have a daughter-in-law like you. You bear all her tortures. Madhvi smiles and says no, Amma ji is good at heart, I will make pakodas for you. Shanta leaves and goes to Kanta. She fills her ears against Madhvi. Kanta says Madhvi is my maid, not servant. Shanta says I did not like Madhvi’s words, she will go against you infront of everyone. Kanta says your habit of igniting fire hasn’t gone. Shanta says I don’t do such things, I was telling you for your own good. She goes. Kanta recalls her words.
Amma ji is troubled by Shanta’s indigestion. She asks her to have Ved’s churan (a mixture of powdered herbs and/or minerals used to aid digestion). Shanta says I feel light by passing out gas, no need of churan. Amma ji says others die of it.
Some widows comes there. Amma ji asks them to sit. Amma ji says this is ashram ladies Sudha and Pishi maa, we help them sometimes. She thinks this is a chance to show Shanta about how people respect her. She asks Maharaj to get the ganga water and cow urine for purificafion. Sudha says she is very happy seeing her giving importance to traditions. Pishi maa says we are glad seeing this. Sudha praises Madhvi. Amma asks Shanta to see for herself, she also knows how to control her daughter-in-law. She asks Mehri to bring juice.
Prabha says she wants to go home. Ratan says he will buy sweets. Prabha says her legs are aching, no sweets.
He asks is she hiding anything or her legs are really aching? She swears on her phone and says she isn’t hiding anything, how can he doubt her, go and buy sweet in the shop. He says don’t be annoyed, I will buy the sweets quickly.
Sagar asks Gangaa to hide the puppy carefully, as the house is nearby. He says we have to take care of it, but if anyone catches us and ask us to leave the puppy outside, how will the puppy manage? She says I think we should tell everyone. He says Dadi will throw the puppy outside. She says Shanta will manage, as Amma ji can’t say anything infront of her, we have to convince Shanta, she will agree if you say it.
Ratan and Yash buys sweets. Prabha requests the Lord to not send Ram ji here. Niranjan comes there and asks Prabha what she’s doing here? Ratan greets him. Yash touches Niranjan’s feet. Niranjan blesses him. Prabha is worried. Niranjan asks why is Prabha not coming on Madhvi’s call, is she annoyed? Prabha says no, I will come. Niranjan invites them for diwali prayer. Prabha thinks how to leave and starts screaming. She says her legs are giving her so much pain, she can’t even stand, they will have to go home. Niranjan asks Ratan to take her home, they will meet on diwali. He leaves.
Shanta gets some smell and sees Madhvi getting home cleaned with phenyl. She praises Madhvi and says she is very nice. Amma ji asks Madhvi about the phenyl? Madhvi says I’m getting the floor cleaned by phenyl. Amma ji asks why? What was the need?
Sagar says puppy is unwell, we should not take risk in telling anyone. She says fine, I will hide the puppy, but I feel Shanta will help us. Shanta says there is no use of cow urine and ganga water. Pishi maa says Cow urine makes everything clean. Amma ji scolds Madhvi and asks did her parents give her these values? Madhvi sees everyone and asks what did I do that you had to mention my parents, I did this on your son’s instruction!
Shanta says Madhvi’s tongue is very long. Amma ji scolds Madhvi and says this is my home, I will decide everything. Sagar and Gangaa comes home. Madhvi says you are talking as if this is not my home, fine I will not have any right on this house. Amma ji says no, this is your house, I’m old and it’s a big favour to get food, I will die soon, you can do anything you want. Amma ji asks Gangaa what is she looking at and, why did she go out, why did she ask Madhvi instead of her? Madhvi cries. Amma ji asks don’t I have any importance to you? Madhvi says tell her Gangaa, that you both took permission from me, apologize to her, tell her that you will take her permission! Who am I here? She leaves.
Amma ji says great, did Gangaa get happy making her fight with her daughter-in-law? Gangaa asks what did I do? Amma ji says I made a mistake of givivg you freedom. She punishes Gangaa. Sudha says what can I say Pishi maa, widow has to beat her share of sorrow. Amma ji keeps water pot on Gangaa’s head and asks her not to move. Sagar says but Dadi… Amma ji asks him not to say anything. Sudha asks can we leave Amma ji? Sudha and Pishi maa leaves. Shanta acts innocent and says she can’t help the kids. Sagar says there is a big thing, I understood one thing, that ever since Shanta came into our house, fights has started. Gangaa says she will stand here. Sagar says you will get ill, I can’t manage you and jalebi Prasad. I will talk to Dadi and come back. She asks the puppy to be quiet!
