As Gangaa hopefully lights up the house, with oil lamps, Sagar comes and helps her with one of the oil lamps, telling her that this oil lamp helped to sustain their love and care, and that it exposed everything that she had been hiding behind her false anger and pride in those eyes. He says that behind the eyes, there is only love which has his name written all over it. He asks her never to let the oil lamps of this love and this hope be doused, as if that happens, then he would die and she wouldn’t be able to live either.
Krishna’s voice makes her realise that she was dreaming all along.
As Sagar gets dressed, ready to go, Amma ji asks where is he going, leaving the prayer? Sagar says that he’s going to Gangaa’s place. Amma ji says that he should be in his house, for prayee but Sagar says that he has to go, and eyes the jewellery kept beside the table. He asks if she took this for Gangaa and krishna? Amma ji complies. He takes them and begins to leave, when Madhvi asks what about the prayer here? Niru comes in. Sagar says that he’s going to give Gangaa and Krishna, for Dhanteras. They smile. He seeks their blessings. Zoya is frustrated and tensed. They comply, then Sagar leaves. Niru asks if he’s going to Gangaa’s place and asks if she called him, and knows about him coming? He explains everything saying that it’s his right. He leaves. Amma ji is overwhelmed to see his happiness. Madhvi says that he should have stayed home still. Niru says that the home is where the heart stays. All are happy, while Zoya is frustrated.
At the prayer, the Priest awaits Pulkit to sit with his wife but Madhvi says that she tried a lot, but Pulkit isn’t receiving. They wonder who will do the prayer? Niru steps in saying that he will and as per customary traditions, Madhvi will take her place beside him. He holds her hand and makes her sit. Amma ji gets emotionally overwhelmed. Zoya fumes.
As they light the oil lamps, Sagar comes and Krishna is ecstatic, while Gangaa thinks that maybe she is daydreaming yet again, as she fixates her gaze on him. They save the oil lamp from dousing, and Sagar iterates the same words that he uttered when Gangaa was dreaming. Krishna asks what will happen if this oil lamp stays alight? Sagar says that all her wishes will come true. Gangaa asks her not to play with fire. Krishna goes in to get her collection of flowers for the prayer. Sagar and Gangaa both keeps hands around the oil lamp compulsively at the same time, to avoid it from dousing. He tells her that he told her in the dream. She gets emotionally overwhelmed, while noticing later, that he burnt his hands. She immediately rushes to his care, while he eyes her emotionally. She eyes him, realising that he saw her concern suddenly, and then looks away, walks in, while he stands there eyeing his burnt hand.
Later, as Gangaa is busy with prepartions, while the Priest gets ready for the prayer, she eyes Sagar and Krishna, playfully spending time with each other. The Priest reminds Gangaa that it’s a prayer that requires, a husband and a wife to sit together and that she has sat alone for years, but it looks like Krishna’s father has returned. They both get tensed. Gangaa denies it and hesitates, but Krishna butts in saying that he is the father and they have to sit together. She is in a fix, as Krishna and Sagar, playfully side together, and ask the Priest to start the prayer, as they are merely going through a fight but Sagar adamantly forces her to sit, she resists at first, but when Krishna too plays on Sagar’s side, she reluctantly gives in. Gangaa fumes, as she takes part in the rituals, while Sagar and Krishna are amused. They then do the prayer together as a Couple, while Gangaa fumes, but complies nevertheless. She remembers doing this with him, and then the way he betrayed her. After the prayer, Sagar takes blessings alongside Gangaa as well.
As Pulkit narrates his decision and how this is their last meeting, and that she can’t weaken him with her tears. He says that it’s their last meeting, and they won’t meet again. She says that this means he came in with his mind prepared and this means he never loved her truly, and maybe she only loved him, and she knows the consequences of one sided love. She victimises herself, for having trusted him and loved him so much, and that’s the biggest mistake she made. He is unable to bear her tears, but she jerks him away, pointing out what she had hoped for, and what she got. She shows him the diwali gift she got for both of them, but now it’s of no use. She is about to break it, when Pulkit comes and asks her not to do so, saying that they have spent intimate moments together, and that they will wear watches, remembering each other. She denies it saying that she doesn’t need anything that reminds her of him, and asks him to go away. He asks her to try and understand that there isn’t any future. She asks him to go, with folded hands, while he asks her to stop it. She gets emotional and hugs him, saying that she would die without him, and can’t live without him. He is in a dilemma and then reciprocates back. She asks him why is he doing this, as she loves him a lot. She says that he shouldn’t talk of leaving again. He is distraught.
Sonu taunts Zoya that things seem to be getting better between Niru and Madhvi and if that happens, Zoya inheriting the property will always go out the window. Zoya fumes, while he is amused and asks her to let go of her dream and come along with him, before they throw her out of the house. She asks him to stop this nonsense! He says that this diwali will bring forever darkness in her life. She smirks, and says that not for her, but for them! Zoya is enraged and swears that Amasvasya night, will forever induce darkness in their life and that there won’t be light in the Chaturvedi grounds. Zoya says that the fire they rise, to pray to Goddess Lakshmi, shall furthermore burn the Lakshmi of their own house! Sonu hears on.
After finishing the prayer, Sagar holds out the gifts, while krishna notices that he is hiding something. He asks her to pick one closed fist. She complies and gets her gift and then she asks what’s in the other one? He shows that they are bangles and says that it’s for Gangaa, and asks her to wait, while he goes and gives. He goes in to find Gangaa crying in the Kitchen, emotionally overwhelmed. He comes and stands behind her, and then takes her hand, while she is startled. She turns around and tries to wrench free, but he holds her tightly, and then kisses her hand, while tears flow down her cheeks. She jerks her hand away, and asks him why is he here, and begs him to go, and leave her alone. He says that he will, but wishes to give her something first. He takes out the bangles for her, while she is surprised as they are the same ones, that he had promised since childhood. She denies it and puts her hand behind her back but he forcibly, goes behind her and makes her wear it, while she’s too weak to resist. He talks romantic with her and then retreats back.
She eyes him going and then the bangles, and tries to take them off, as she remembers the past of the bangles.
Meanwhile, Krishna is fuming, that Gangaa didn’t get enough explosives for her. Kashish hears tensedly. Just then, Zoya comes and asks Krishna to come so that they can go shopping. Krishna happily rushes along with her while Zoya thinks that she would never return now, at least not alive!
Zoya tells Sonu over the phone, that she won’t spare her at all, as today would be Krishna’s last night, and asks him to be alert about her missed call as per their plan, while walking ahead, Zoya messages Sonu, and he starts the Car. Sonu tries to run her over, while she obliviously and excitedly walks ahead with Zoya but before he could succeed, Kashish comes and Sonu stops. She comes to give the purse to Zoya, and then tags along too. Zoya fumes but has no option but to comply. She gets Sonu’s call, frustrated at their failed attempt, while she says that she didn’t have any other option, as Kashish was also there. Zoya says that they could have failed, but she will finish Krishna today at any cost!
In her room, Madhvi is tensed remembering what Niru did, when Amma ji comes and confronts her. She starts throwing a tantrum, and starts scolding Madhvi for keeping a plateful of food in her room, while she herself had placed it. Maharaj comes asking what happened? Madhvi denies having done it. Amma ji asks her to find some other place in the house to live, while Madhvi is at a loss as to where to go. She starts showing Madhvi’s stuff, that doesn’t suit a widow’s room, intentionally saying so, so that Madhvi has no option but to stay with Niru, who is also there, silently standing and watching it all. Amma ji waits for a reaction. Niru asks her to come along to their room, and takes her from there. Maharaj and Amma ji smile. She walks out, emotionally, watching the two of them go together. She then asks Maharaj to take Madhvi’s stuff there.
Sagar returns back, and happily tells her that Gangaa accepted it. She congratulates him happily, saying that now, she feels her house’s happiness is restored.
In their room, Madhvi and Niru tensedly eye each other, while she’s bitterly crying. She comes to him, and places her hand on his shoulder, and he cusps it back. They both cry their heart out.
Gangaa stands beside the window, and imagines a dreamy romantic sequence wherein, he lovingly dances with her, and then also places the well deserved vermillion on her forehead. This alarms her, as she notices the empty vermillion, and gets apalled. Meanwhile, Sagar too imagines a similar sequence in his home, wherein, he starts his marital life with her, and she too wakes up imagining that Sagar sleeps next to her and Krishna. she asks herself to compose, so that she doesn’t start dreaming things that cause her ruin!
As Gangaa alights the oil lamps, Gangaa is tensed and boggled and full of mixed emotions. She talks to herself, about the two faced dilemma she is in, as she wants to melt in his arms, but then her ego and self respect comes in. She herself eyes tensedly. She accidentally burns her fingers, and Krishna rushes to her defence. Gangaa addresses her as her father, and asks when is he coming? Krishna teases her if she is waiting too? Gangaa denies it and continues to being ready. Krishna comments that she looks beautiful, and if Sagar comes, he would be mesmerised. Krishna talks abouty her beauty. Gangaa is amused.
Later, Gangaa finds her scarf is long and tries to talk her out of it but Krishna insists. While Gangaa is shown that the oil lamp is dousing and rushes to get oil, Gangaa herself is sitting tensedly.
While Supriya tries to make Juhi wear the earrings that she brought, Juhi gets adamant that she wants the same one, that were bought for Krishna by Amma ji. She tries to talk her out of it, but Juhi is vehement that she won’t have these! Supriya gets angry and says that she has become very frustrated, as she is neither taken care of, nor her daughter, as no one bothered to get Juhi a gift, and everyone was worried about Krishna! She says that everyone neglects Juhi, and no one bothers! She points out the entire issue, and vents out her frustration. He asks her to sit down. She says that that’s what she has always done, and now feels suffocated, as he goes at the first beck and call of hers (Kashish). She leaves from there, taking Juhi away.
