Jalal says I understand you Jodha, but I can’t grant your request to meet Salim, as Salim will become weak by this, Jodha is a little hurt and says I want to go to the temple to pray for Salim and Qadir’s health and I will distribute clothes to the poor, Jalal says go, Jodha leaves.
Salim is cutting dry wood sticks, Rahim comes there in disguise, Jalal comes there too in disguise and sees Salim from hiding behind the bushes, Rahim says to Jalal that I am keeping close eye on him, why did you come? Jalal says Salim is my child, it’s my duty to protect him, until I see him fine, I would not sit quietly. Salim is cutting wood and gets hurt in his hand, Jalal is hurt seeing him injured, Rahim says that you won’t be able to see this anymore Jalal, so go from here, I am here with him, Jalal says I think you are right, I should leave, take good care of my Son, Jalal leaves from there after glancing at Salim.
Salim collects some wood sticks and starts leaving the Jungle with heavy sticks on his shoulder. Salim says that these sticks are less but I have to reach home fast, he finds some men talking about food and clothes distribution at the temple, Salim thinks that Grandma (Qadir’s Grandmother) will make the food late, if I get food from the temple, then Grandma (Qadir’s Grandmother) will not have to work and will not be hungry.
Jodha is distributing food between the poor, Jodha says to people that my two Children are in problem, pray for them, Jodha starts distributing clothes between the poor people.
Salim comes there all messed up and drenched in mud, he extends his hand and hides himself behind another man. Jodha looks at his hand and says why there so many wounds on this child’s hand? She ask Zakira to give cream, she gives it, Jodha ask people to move aside, so that she can apply cream, they move aside, Jodha is shocked to find that it’s Salim, Salim is shocked too, he looks down at his hand then at Jodha, Jodha gets emotional seeing him.
Salim recalls how Jodha asked for Salim’s punishment from Jalal and how Ruqaiya supported him in his bad pahse, Salim moves back and doesn’t let Jodha apply cream, he says Salam Queen Sahiba, give food to this poor, I am hungry, Jodha sits on her kness and applies cream on his wounds, Salim winces in pain, Jodha emotionally looks at him and then gives him food, Salim takes the food from her hands and runs from there, Salim goes to a corner to eat the food, but then thinks to take the food to the old Grandma, he takes wood sticks in one hand and food plate in another and leaves from there.
Jodha sees him going like that and she’s hurt. Maan comes there too and ask Jodha what happened? Jodha shows him Salim going, Jodha says I want to go to Salim, Maan says this is not good, Jodha says why? I just want to meet him once, I want to know why Salim moved back (away) from me?
Salim comes to the hut, Qadir’s Grandmother says I was worried for you, where were you? Salim says I went to collect sticks and got late, Jodha sees all this from the window, Salim says to Grandma that I got food for you, she ask from where did you bring it? Salim says Marium Zamani (Queen Mother/Ultimate Mother) was distributing it, so I got it, Salim ask her to eat it, Qadir’s Grandmother says you called me Grandma, so I will first let my Grandson eat, she makes Salim eat the food.
Jodha is emotional seeing this and tries to go into the hut to meet Salim, but Maan stops her and says this will be against Jalal’s order and he will be angry, Jodha sees Salim from the window, Rahim comes there too, Jodha leaves from there.
Jodha comes to Jalal crying, Jalal ask what happened? Why are you crying, Jodha hugs him, Jodha says I am sorry, I couldn’t stop myself and went to see Salim, but I didn’t meet him, I just saw him from afar, Jalal says you are asking for forgiveness after breaking the rule of the King? Jalal says I broke the King’s order too and went to see my child, Jodha cries, they both sadly look at each other, Jodha says I was hurt seeing Salim in problem and on the other side, I saw him working and fulfilling his duty, so I got happy, your decision was good, you took that decision as a father not as a King, I thought you are rigid with Salim, but you were right, now our child is following the right path.
Jalal says I am proud listening to this, Jodha says now Salim will be a great King because of you Jalal, I got emotional, but you were firm in punishing him, I am sorry, I love Salim a little more than you, Jalal says now I accept that Salim loves you more than me, I just pray that Salim returns soon and when he returns, I will be the first take him in my lap and will shower him so much love. Jodha hugs him.
Salim is lying on the floor in the hut while Qadir’s Grandmother is sleeping on the bed.
On the other side, Jodha is sleeping on the floor in her room too. Both Jodha and Salim are not getting sleep.
Jalal comes to the village in disguise, he looks at Qadir’s Grandmother hut and looks at the security around the hut.
Jodha in her room looks at Salim’s clothes and recalls how she used make Salim listen to stories from her, Jodha says I don’t how Salim is sleeping without listening to my story.
On the other side, Salim thinks that if Mother was here, then she would have told me story.
Jodha says to Kahna that today, I will tell you a story, you send this story to my Child, Jodha says the story, on the other side, Salim sleeps.
Jalal is outside the hut, Rahim ask him to take rest, Jalal says no, I won’t go from here, his safety is important, so I will daily come here to check his security.
Voiceover says that time was passing and Jalal-Jodha along with Salim was in pain, but Qadir was not becoming conscious.
Qadir is being treated, there is a team of Doctors observing Qadir’s health, he’s in the royal Palace, Jodha comes there and ask about Qadir? One doctor says we have put medicine on his wound, Jodha ask can I tie sacred thread on his hand? The Doctor nods in yes, Jodha ties the sacred thread to Qadir’s arm and prays that you become fine soon.
Jodha ask till when he will be unconscious? The Doctor says that his health has become a little fine, we are hoping that he will be fine soon, he need prayers too, Jodha says I pray for Qadir, not because that Salim will return soon, but I know his Grandmother must be waiting for him to return to her, as I know how a Mother feels when her child is away from her, she leaves from there.
Maan and Todar tells Jalal that some thugs have entered Agra, they have got to know that Salim is out of the Palace, so they are ready to attack him, Jalal is shocked, Jalal says to Maan that tell Rahim to be alert with Salim, tonight, I will go to protect Salim!
Salim is in some Jungle, some thugs surround him.
Jalal says today, I will finish these thieves!!
Jodha is going to her room and finds Murad fighting with Salim, she is shocked, Murad and Salim are fighting over balls, they get into scuffle, Jodha comes there and scolds them both that you both always fight, she ask Salim to say sorry to Murad!!! It turns out to be Jodha’s imagination and it’s Daniyal and Murad fighting.
Daniyal says to Jodha that Salim is not here with us, Jodha says but you are with me, don’t fight, Murad says to Jodha that what if Salim is not here, you scold me, you twist my ears, I will not say anything to you, but please don’t cry, Daniyal says you can twist my ear too, Jodha hugs the Children.
Salima comes there and says Murad is right, these children are yours too, just like Salim is my child, I understand your situation, but you have to be strong, Salim will return soon, you don’t worry, Jodha nods and smiles.
Salim is making food in Qadir’s Grandmother hut, he is making roties, Rashid along with Zil Bahar and Anarkali comes there to meet Qadir’s Grandmother, Rashid greets Salim as Prince, Salim says I am not Prince here, but a common man. Anarkali ask Qadir’s Grandmother about Qadir? Qadir’s Grandmother says his treatment is going on, hope he will return soon, Zil Bahar says we are lucky to have got a King like Jalal who has sent his Prince to serve you, Rashid ask do you need anything? Qadir’s Grandma says no, Salim does every work here, for name sake, he is a Prince, but he is very down to earth and sensible, he has taken responsibility of the whole house.
Anarkali comes to Salim in the Kitchen and finds him having tough time in kneading flour, she puts water in the flour, Salim ask what you did??? Anarkali says that it was dry, so it was difficult for you in kneading it, Salim says I don’t need your help, I know! Anarkali says that why you are so egoistic, I always help you? Salim says I don’t need your help! Anrakali says I make roties in my house, Salim says I have learned it too, I make here daily, you have put excess amount of water in it! Anarkali puts more water in it and destroys the flour, Salim says how dare you?? He puts the watery flour in Anarkali’s mouth, Anarkali shouts for Zil Bahar?? All comes inside.
Salim says it’s not my fault, I was doing my work and she had put water in the flour to destroy it, Zil Bahar scolds Anarkali and says sorry to Salim, she says to Anarkali that let’s go home, then I will take your class! They leave.
Salim says to Qadir’s Grandmother that Anarkali destroyed the flour, Qadir’s Grandmother says we will use it too, don’t worry, Salim says don’t call her again to your house, she is bad! Qadir’s Grandmother smiles.
Maan tells Jalal that we have tightened the security of Salim. Jalal says nothing should happen to Salim!
Salim is shown to be walking in the Jungle in the night, he is crying and asking where are you Mother? Some thugs come there and attacks… It turns about to be bad dream of Jodha, she wakes up with a start and says what a bad dream? Why is my heart beating fast? Why am I thinking Salim is in danger? I had same feeling at the time of Hassan and Hussain dying, I can’t lose Salim, I have to talk to Jalal.
Jodha is finding Jalal in the Palace. Hamida comes there and ask her what’s wrong? Jodha says I am worried, I don’t know why I am feeling Salim is in danger, just like I felt it for Hassan and Hussain, I don’t know where Jalal is. Hamida ask her to go and meet Salim, Jodha says what about Jalal’s orders? Hamida says motherly love is greater than orders, if Jalal wants, then he can punish me, It’s my order that you go and meet Salim, as you will only get peace, only when you’ve met her, so go and meet him, Jodha nods and goes from there.
Jalal is with Rahim and all are outside Qadir’s Grandmother hut, he ask all to take position and the attackers should not find way to the hut, Rahim says everything is fine, Jalal says till now, but my experience says that it will not be fine for much time, Todar says if they attack today, then they will not leave from here alive!
Jalal listens to some movement, he ask Todar to take his position while he will go check, Jalal comes into the Jungle and grabs one person, he puts sword on her neck, it turns out to be Jodha, Jalal is shocked and ask what are you doing here? What if I have attacked you? Don’t you have respect for my orders? Jodha says I have, but my heart was beating fast for Salim, I saw a bad dream and I have taken permission from Hamida too, Jalal says but you shouldn’t have come here at this time? Jodha says when a father can come to protect his Son, then why can’t his Mother come? I am feeling that Salim will be in danger, Jalal says I am here with him, he asks the Soldiers to take her back, Jodha says no, first I will see Salim, Jalal says there is danger here now, you go from here.
Meanwhile, the thieves comes near the hut and attacks Jalal’s soldiers, Rahim comes to Jalal and says they have attacked, Jalal says you go and fight, Jalal takes Jodha to one side and ask her to stay in a corner, he asks the Soldiers to protect her, Jalal goes and fight ensues between the Soldiers and the Thugs. Rahim is beaten, but he fights them.
Jalal bravely fights the Thugs, he grabs one Thug and ask who have sent you?? The Thug pushes Jalal and runs from there, while the others are killed.
Jalal comes to Jodha and says I didn’t let anything happen to my child, he didn’t even get a wound, Jodha is relieved. He says to Jodha that I don’t sleep at night because of Salim, I care for him too, but you are Marium Zamani (Queen Mother/Ultimate Queen), so you know King and Prince gets attacked usually, and I won’t let anything happen to Salim, Jodha says but one of the Culprits is still out at large, Jalal says I promise, he will be caught soon!
The same Thug comes to Rashid and zil Bahar’s house, he is injured, they know him, Rashid ask how you got injured? They take him inside, Rashid ask how this happened? Yaqub (Thug) says that I was attacked by thieves, Rashid ask Zil Bahar to bring Doctor, Yaqub says no I am fine, it’s a small injury, I will leave soon, Zil Bahar says no, you can stay as long as you want here, Rashid does the dressing of his wounds.
Hamida says to Jalal that now, we will not let Salim be in danger, bring him back, Ruqaiya says no, this will mean that the King got afraid of Thugs and changed his decision. Hamida says to Jalal that it’s not about Heir Salim but we can’t put a child’s life in danger like that., Hamida ask Jodha to speak, Salim is her child, Jodha says I am afraid for Salim, but I trust Jalal’s thinking and his bravery, so whatever decision he takes, I will accept that.
Jalal smiles looking at Jodha, Jalal says to Hamida that our Salim is brave, nobody can do anything, I trust God, I pray that Salim will come back all fine and about the Thug? He will be caught soon.
