Bharmal and his relatives discuss about all the happenings in the hall. They are very tensed, as both Jalal and the father in-law aren’t ready to budge from their position.
Jodha takes Jalal’s side, in the battle between Authority and a promise. Bharmal and Bhagwant Das wonder how to tackle the situation so that the bridegroom doesn’t go without Sukanya.
Pratap tells the father in-law that it’s business that’s happening now, and not marriage, so he won’t take their side. He says that if he wants a fort, then he should wage a war to acquire it and not this trade with his Son’s marriage. Pratap once again gives the father in-law an advice to give respect to the bride, and to asks the groom to go back to his Kingdom with his bride.
Maham Anga gives a sherbet to Jalal and Jalal is furious at the way Father in-law behaved. Maham Anga instigates Jalal the more and asks him to return to Agra the next morning. He agrees as he says that he was disrespected in Amer!
Bharmal asks Pratap to not leave Amer, but Pratap disagrees, as he doesn’t want to see a Rajput daughter being traded in such a lowly manner!
Bharmal once again requests the father in-law and they have an argument. The groom tries to pacify, but his father stops him from speaking. Father in-law finally gives him some time to talk to Jalal.
Moti gives Jodha a message. Jodha reads it and tells her that she has to go somewhere so that Sukanya’s marriage will be saved. She asks for Moti’s clothes, and she goes to meet the prospective groom. He tells her that he wanted to marry Sukanya and Shariffudden’s duplicity to Rajputs, as well as the Mughals.
Jodha recalls Bharmal’s words and the ones she overheard from Shariffudden. She puts two and two together and decides to meet Shariffudden.
Maham Anga comes to Hamida bano and asks why has she refused to go to Agra? Hamida bano says it’s a case of misunderstanding and it has to be rectified through discussion. Maham Anga tells everyone to think about Jalal and not Sukanya. Hamida bano tries to show some reason, but Maham Anga says that Jalal has already ordered everyone to leave Amer the next morning.
Hamida bano goes to meet Jalal. She tries to talk to Jalal about the issue, but Jalal doesn’t heed to her opinions.
Jodha in a maid attire has covered her head and face and she’s going to the Mughals’ rooms, when her Grandmother stops her. Jodha then had to tell her the purpose of her visit and her plan. Grandmother gives her her blessings.
Adham Khan and Shariffuddin are in rejoicing mood. Adham Khan asks the maid (Jodha) to serve wine. Adham Khan tries to hold her hand, but Shariffudden stops him, and asks the maid to leave.
Shariffudden and Adham Khan talk about their plan and Jodha overhears everything. They are on the verge of getting Jodha caught, but Grandmother comes and averts the trouble.
Jodha tells Grandmother everything and cautions her not to say anything to anyone.
Jodha goes to Jalal and tells everything to Jalal. Jalal refuses to listen to her talks and accuses her of siding with Rajvanshis and not his family! Jodha asks him to call Bakshi Bano and when asked, Bakshi Bano does a Volte face. She flatly refuses that Shariffudden is wrong. Jodha is shocked. Jalal asks Bakshi Bano and Jodha to leave, as Jodha is proved wrong.
Sukanya is crying when Jodha tells her the entire thing. Jodha is angry at Jalal. Sukanya calms her down and asks her to promise that she won’t raise her voice in front of Jalal. Sukanya tells her not to get her marriage into trouble because of her. They both hug.
Jodha is in her room. Bakshi Bano comes and apologises that she wanted to save her marriage. Jodha is in tears at the situation she is caught into, as she can’t risk the two lives–Sukanya and Bakshi Bano.
Jodha recalls Shariffudden’s and Bakshi Bano’s words, when Maham Anga suddenly comes and asks her to talk to her in private. Maham Anga tells her that her plans were so foolish that she asked Bakshi Bano to testify against Shariffudden, also she was so wrong in putting Maham Anga against Jalal preciously too! Maham Anga rubs her in, that she’s still naive and doesn’t learn from her mistakes. Maham Anga tells her that she’s happy that she came to Amer and saw the defeat of Jodha in her own home. She gave an evil laugh and leaves. Jodha thinks and smiles to herself.
Hamida bano again tells Jalal to reconsider his decision, Maham Anga talks ill about Jodha. The entire Mughal clan is present there.
Jodha comes and apologises for her actions. Maham Anga scolds her, but Jodha hugs her and says that she has realised her mistakes when she came to her room. She also says sorry to Shariffudden, then she goes to Jalal and apologises and expects that her family will also give their apologies. She tells Jalal to not yield to Raajvanshis’ demands. She again goes to Maham Anga and says that she is first Jalal’s Queen and then Amer’s daughter. Jalal is confused and is giving disbelieving looks throughout Jodha’s utterances.
