The serial starts with Siddharth introducing himself and his mother-in-law. His scene shifts in a aeroplane where Durga devi scolds flight attendant for spoiling her pashmina shawl. Siddharth who is sitting next to her purposefully yawns and drops her magazine. Durga says weird people come on board. He says it does not need a special degree to sit in a plane. Cabin Attendant comes and asks what they want to have for dinner? Before Durga could give her order of fresh fruit bowl, Siddharth interrupts and gives his order of Indian nonveg food. Durga gets annoyed and says he must be traveling for the first time. He hears that and says she is right. Durga tries to throw away the oranges. He asks her not to throw it away and eats it himself. Durga asks the Cabin Attendant to change her seat and tries to move away when Siddharth stops her and says he liked her character and asks for her visiting card so that he can visit her house and have food with her.
Roshni is busy with the school children (Six in number to be precise). She serves them Yoghurt. The Kids get happy. She drops them at their school bus. The Kids thank her and waves her bye. She asks them if they packed everything and did not forget anything? They packed everything and the bus leaves. She turns back sadly. The School bus comes and the children throw bouquet on her and wish her a happy birthday! She gets happy and thanks them.
The flight lands. Roshni hurriedly rushes towards the airport and meets her grandma who is waiting for her daughter, Durga. Grandma says she came on time, else Durga would have been angry. Grandma/naani then greets her happy birthday. She asks why she’s not wearing a Make-up and asks her to wear it for Durga’s sake. Roshni asks who is Durga and remembers her Mom’s name is Durga and DD/Didi is her pet name. Roshni describes how DD will come out of the airport and her two devars/brother-in-laws Bablu and Kesar will receive her and start explaining about the business schedule. Media will throng her, but she waves them goodbye, and would come towards grandma and Roshni and would hug them as the media is watching them.

Roshni sees her trolley full of gifts and gets sad. She tells Grandma that DD brought many gifts, but forgot to wish her happy birthday. She throws the gifts away and starts crying. Grandma prays to God to send someone who can make Roshni happy.
Sidharth gets into Roshni’s car and asks her to move. Roshi is surprised by his gesture and asks who is he and how did he get into her car? He gets out of the car, and gets in again and says I entered just like this! He says the taxi is carrying his bag and asks her to follow him! Roshi moves her car while Sidharth starts his drama. He then asks her to stop near the candy floss stall. She gets angry and asks why did he lie to her? He says it is her birthday and smile was missing from her face, so he make her smile and wish her happy birthday. He gives her the candy floss, and wishes her happy birthday and starts walking, while Roshi annoyingly looks at him. He then says that there are two women in my life because of whom my life is going to change.
Roshni gets home and sees servants all around. She sadly looks at Durga’s pic and says she misses her. She then hears Bablu talking to Durga over the tablet and scolds him for missing Roshi’s birthday party dress. Roshi’s student calls her and asks her to come qyickly. Roshni leaves. Durga thinks if Roshni does any mistake today, she will purnish her hard.
Sidharth enters a house like a thief. A Man with his gun catches him holding the gun to his back. The Man asks if he is mad that he sent 2 cars for him and he escaped from the Airport! Sidharth refers to him as dad and asks him to relax. He asks him to stop frightening him with grandpa’s gun and happily hugs him. Hisdad asks how did he come here? Sidharth says he took a lift from a girl and asks if his bags has reached home? His dad says they are here and he has checked them, but couldn’t find anything reasonable in it. Sidharth scolds him for checking his bag. Dad says he did not find his item and gets sad. Sidharth gives him chocolate and asks him to get only 1 piece before Mom sees him. He happily takes it from him.
DD looks at her house and praises Kesar and Bablu for decorating it well. They say it was her plan they followed. Resham comes with water and wishes DD. She asks how does she look in her blue dress and starts scratching her ears. DD asks Kesar to control his wife. Kesar scolds Resham for giving DD water with her scratched hands. DD asks Kesar not to allow Resham in today’s party. She asks Bablu about Roshni?
Roshni enters a house and calls her students. The six students gives her a surprise with gifts and cake and wish her happy birthday! Roshni gets happy, and cut the cake and feeds them.
DD attends to her guests graciously. The Guest praises her for arranging such a lavish party and asks about Roshni? DD says she’s on her way.
Roshni is busy dancing and partying with her students. Another guest asks DD to show her jewelry designs. DD says Roshni will wear them and cut her birthday cake. She angrily asks Naani(Grandma) about Roshni? Party finishes and all the guests leave.
Roshni comes home very late at night tired and inebriated. She starts misbehaving. DD shouts at her! Roshni asks if she remembers her name? DD says her daughter has come inebriated like a street goon! Roshni says if she can speak to her, then she can come everyday drunk. DD says because of her careless attitude, she bore a big loss. Roshni asks Bablu to give her gifts back to DD with which she can cover her losses. She says everyone dances to DD’s tune. She checks the wall clock and says 15 minutes are left and she has to sleep before 12 as she gets her mom in her dreams who will pamper her. DD says she is a big fool and says if she had not been strict, the whole family would have been on the streets! She says her attitude is like those kamchor people who spend their lives taking care of other and regret it later for not earning money. She tells Roshni that she wears clothes and enjoys car rides with her money. Roshni says she does not need anything except her. She holds her and says she will return back everything. DD asks her to leave her as she is smelling alcohol and slaps her leaving everyone stunned.
Naani sends everyone to their room and tries to console Roshni. Roshni says she is fine. Naani says she knows she is not drunk and just sprinkled alcohol on her clothes. Roshni says today, at least her mom touched her by slapping her and her birthday is complete today. Naani prays to God to send someone who can unite Mother and daughter.
Sidharth asks his dad why can’t he keep her? His Dad says he cannot let her in this house and does not have space for her! Sidharth says she is her choice and even Mom will accept it. Mom hears their conversation and he’s surprised seeing her. It is a treadmill. Mom asks if they both were talking about it? Sidharth says if dad does not exercise, he may get BP, high sugar level, and so on. Mom says she thought he brought a foreign daughter-in-law. Sidharth laughs and says without her approval, he will not marry and he needs a girl like her, a shadow of her.
Resham joins Paridhi and Naani for breakfast. Naani sees her wearing yellow and black saree and jokes who called a taxi?🚖 Resham realizes the joke and says her astrologer asked her to wear yellow and black as it will bring her prosperity. She bites chilli and runs from there. DD joins them and asks the servant to serve juice to Roshni. Roshni shows alcohol glass and says she is having her drink.
