Karan enters the room, and he is shocked to see Prithvi on the floor, he tries to wake him up, but Prithvi doesn’t listen. Sherlyn sees him with kerosene wondering if he came to kill Prithv? Karan seeing Prithvi thinks that he might have gotten scared. Karan takes the mobile and calls acting as if he is Prithvi, he then immediately hides. Sherlyn sees Karan and gets tensed wondering if he might see her. They are both hiding when the staff arrive, they try to help Prithvi by calling the Doctor, but the phone is dead, so they take him to the next room.
Karan witnessing the chance plans to burn the room, he takes the kerosene so after putting it everywhere in the room, lights it up with a match stick, planning that he will not let Prithvi marry Preeta under any circumstances!
Sarla is with Prithvi’s mother, Shristhi along with Preeta and Janki comes there and they are all wondering how the fire started, they try to calm Sarla down, but Prithvi is also brought before their eyes. Bi jee advises Prithvi’s mother takes him to the hospital, they are all wondering what to do when Karan passes by them, and hits Preeta on the hand, they both stop suddenly, feeling the connection, Karan leaves after standing there for a while.
Preeta wonders why she felt that Karan was in her wedding, but then she thinks that it’s just her imagination and this could not be the case. The firefighters arrive, they are sent to the first floor.
Sherlyn wonders why Karan is doing such a thing, she tries to run, but the door doesn’t open.
Janki comes and she makes sure that everyone leaves, there is a knock on the door, and Janki wonders who might be trapped in the groom’s room, she is trying to open it, but isn’t able to.
Rishab sees her, but he doesn’t go to her, wondering that Janki might not like him being here, so he takes a mask and then helps her, but when they open the door, there is no one there. Rishab says that she might not have heard, but is feeling that there is someone in the room, Janki isn’t convinced that there is someone in there, so Sherlyn leaves as soon as Janki gets into the room.
Rishab is standing outside and wondering where Karan might have gone to, he is really happy to see that Karan is standing outside the hall, they both meet each other and leaves.
Sarla is in the room with Preeta and Shrishti, then Janki comes with a Doctor, he injects Preeta with the sleeping injection, advising that they let her rest, as she has suffered from chest pain which might be because of high blood pressure. They all ask how the Doctor came so early? The Doctor explains that they were informed of the fire in the hall, so they came with the rescue team. Preeta wonders how they could have arrived so early, as it nearly takes thirty minutes to come to their house. They all try to think of a reason that someone might want to harm them, and at the same time prepared for the first aid, which is really odd.
Rishab and Karan are not able to control their emotions, they both explain the plan. Rishab explains that he called the rescue team and also gave Sarla the money under a fake booking so that she can cover up the loss, Karan smells the scent of Paan, but isn’t able to remember anything about them. Rishab explains that he bought pan worth six thousand rupees for his team, both burst into laughter, as it was a huge amount. Karan makes Rishab promise that he will not tell anyone about where they were and what they did.
Sanjana opens the door, it’s Sherlyn who is very angry, she comes in, but she doesn’t reply, even when Sanjana asks what the matter is and if something has happened in her life, Sherlyn gets really angry saying that she only worries for the Luthra’s and she only cares for them, which makes Sherlyn wonder if she’s even her real daughter, Sherlyn shows her the burn mark, which makes Sanjana feel worried for what she said to her daughter, Sherlyn demands that she calls Kareena apologizing on her behalf for not being able to attend the engagement. Sanjana is not convinced with the plan, so she refuses, but Sherlyn forces her to make the call.
Karan and Rishab enters the house, they are both to see the decoration, Mahira and Ramona are busy in the setting of the house, she asks Karan where he has been? Karan immediately turns to Rishab asking if it is necessary to answer her question? Rishab answers that he was the one that agreed to marry her, so he’s liable to answer her, but if he decides to back out, then he doesn’t have to say anything. Karan explains that he was in a meeting with Rishab who is also forced to agree to the excuse.
Rakhi is instructing the workers about the decoration. Rakhi starts to scold the both of them about where they were, she asks why Karan wasn’t answering her calls. Karan apologizes, explaining that he was busy. Ramona asks both Rakhi and Kareena for the gift, they say that she had it, but then go to search for it.
Mahira comes to Karan asking if he would always leave without informing her? Karan explains that he has no interest in going to the Temple, asking if she feels worried that he doesn’t believe in god, she agrees and then leaves.
Rishab is trying to convince Rakhi that he was in a meeting with the Clients that came from London. Karan comes asking what they are talking about? Rishab explains that she’s not accepting the fact that Karan was with him, because she feels that he still has feelings for Preeta.
Karan asks what they are talking about, Rishab explains that Rakhi doesn’t believe that he was with him in the meeting, she feels that he had gone to stop Preeta’s wedding. Rakhi asks why did he tell Karan about what they we’re discussing, Rishab explains that he is his brother and they cannot hide anything from him.
Kareena comes back with Ramona with the outfit that she and Mahira got for him, she expects him to wear the same outfit. Karan complies, then he along with Rishab leaves to get freshened up.
Prithvi is in his bed, his Mother is standing beside him, wondering when he will wake up, he regains consciousness and he gets unconscious again, his mother wonders why he still wants to marry Preeta, even after she has married someone else.
Shrishti is walking in the market, when she sight Sameer, she calls him, so he immediately stops the Car, he is very frustrated, saying that he called her, but she never answered and she herself explained that they must do something to stop Karan from getting married. Sameer says she her own Sister is also getting married. Shristhi explains that it’s nothing like that. Preeta only agreed to marry Prithvi, because Sarla got ill and she has also made sure that Prithvi backs out, since she’s still Karan’s wife, but the wedding stopped before anything could happen because of the fire, she explains that she feels that Karan was the one behind the fire in the hall, because he couldn’t see Preeta gettimg married to someone else, and he made sure of that, which is really romantic. She asks if he would also be like Karan? Sameer thinks of calling Karan asking if it was him that came to the Kumkum Bhagya hall, he calls him, but Karan is in the house, he thinks to go and ask him to make sure of it. Shristi explains that she will go back home, as she has to give Sarla the medicine, they both leave for their houses.
Prithvi is in his room, he wakes after saying Preeta’s name, he wonders how he came back to his house, since he should have been at the Temple, as he was supposed to be marrying Preeta, he calls his mother and is anxious to know how he came back to his bed? His mother explains that he cannot marry Preeta, and because of it, the gods got angry. Prithvi asks what happened? She explains that it’s because of the god that the fire broke out, but Prithvi thinks that Sherlyn was angry and she must have been the one behind the fire, so he advises that she should have taken him and Preeta to the Temple instead, his mother explains that it cannot happen because he was unconscious all through, and Sarla also felt chest pains. Prithvi thinks that his own plan backfired, he asks if he can marry Preeta, but she tries to explain that it cannot happen anymore, he starts to break things, he explains that it’s because of Sherlyn who is still in love with him and she’s the reason behind everything, she was the one who fought with him, which caused his injury, making him unconscious, he feels that everything has now been ruined.
Sherlyn forces Sanjana to call Kareena, explaining that she cannot come to the engagement, but Sanjana tries to explain that Sherlyn must go to the engagement, sinc she’s the elder daughter-in-law of the Luthra’s and must be at the function, she tells that she doesn’t want to hurt her, but she has to say that Sherlyn was at the function of Prithvi and Preeta, where she burned her hand and if she went to the engagement, then it would mean that they would throw her out of the house.
Sanjana calls Kareena, explaining that she was in Puna, but got ill, so she called Sherlyn over, so she won’t be able to come to the engagement. Kareena assures her that she need not worry about anything.
Rakhi also comes, she asks that she gives the phone to her, and she also assures Sanjana thst she doesn’t have to worry about anything, but when Sherlyn takes the phone, she explains that she wanted to come for the engagement, but Rakhi understands, saying that she doesn’t have to worry about them. Sherlyn also praises her, but Rakhi tells Sherlyn to take good care of her mother. After ending the call, Sherlyn leaves after ordering that Sanjana calls a Doctor to arrange for her treatment.
Karan is in his room, he is frustrated at Preeta, he thinks that he had to marry her and now again, he is going to marry Mahira because of Preeta, Karan exclaims that he feels the other girls are a lot better than Preeta, he thinks if she would also come to stop his wedding, as he did the same with her? He is sitting down when Sameer comes saying that he has bought the ring that he asked him to.
Sameer thinks that he should ask Karan if he knows that Preeta was not able to marry Prithvi, and if what Shrishti said was true? Karan turns, asking Sameer if he has any question? Sameer explains that he wants to ask him if he was near the hall? Karan denies it, but Sameer mentions that the waiters were talking about it. Karan thinks that the one that asked him for a photo might be the one talking about his presence there.
Preeta comes and is shocked to see that Sarla is awake, she asks her to drink the water, Sarla says that she wasn’t able to marry because of her. Preeta pleads that she need not worry, as they can marry again.
Sameer again asks if he was near the Kumkum bhagya hall, Karan denies it, saying that he can ask Rishab, since he was with him, Sameer thinks that Rishab would never let Karan do anything of the sort. Karan is staring at the ring, Sameer while standing at the door asks if he really wants to marry Mahira, Karan exclaims that he wants to, but he’s really still confused.
Preeta explains that anyone can get ill and she wasn’t the only one, Prithvi also got unconscious, ans was taken to his home, Sarla requests that she calls him, as she wants to enquire about his health, Shrishti pleads with her to just have a sip of the water.
Preeta is calling Prithvi, Shrishti doesn’t like that Preeta is calling him, as she was talking to him asking about his health, she thinks Sarla will also talk to him, so her time will be wasted, and she doesn’t want that to happen, she has something else in mind, that she will do, as Preeta will never take the initiative to, since she will never go against Sarla, so it’s now up to her for planning, she has the courage to do what she wants, and it’s the matter of her Sister’s entire life, so she will work on anything for her sister and even bear Sarla’s scolding.
Shrishti walks up to Preeta, hugging her, Preeta is surprised asking about the reason for that, Shrishti responds that she just wanted to show her love that she feels for her (Preeta). Sarla is happy to see the both of them. Shrishti leaves saying that she has something important to do. Preeta explains that Prithvi is not answering his phone and must be resting, Sarla agrees to talk to him later.
Preeta wonders where Shristhi has gone to Sarla explains that she feels she might gone to the hall to inspect the damage. Preeta thinks otherwise, as she believes that Shrishti never does her work and must have gone somewhere else.
Janki comes informing that Rupali has arrived. Sarla says that the lady is the elder daughter of the Caterer, Sarla knows that she came for the bill, Preeta assures that she has to rest, as Preeta will look after the matter, Janki asks Sarla how she is feeling, Sarla explains that she is feeling a little better.
Preeta greets Rupali who is apologetic for coming so late, she request to borrow the large pots of their house. Preeta asks if they have gotten a big contract? Rupali explains that it’s for the famous Cricketer, Preeta is astonished to know that it’s for Karan’s Wedding, she hides her pain, then decided to give the pots to her.
Janki feels that she has seen the pain in Preeta’s eyes when Rupali mentioned Karan’s engagement, she thinks that the reason Preeta refused to marry Prithvi must be because she still wants to remain as Karan’s wife.
