Kabeer says this is not winning, winning is about justice. One woman whispers to other that did we do a mistake by trusting Zara? She is not even here, we should leave. Irfan says if you all thinks like this then I am dismissing this case.. Zara is running to Sharia board. She comes inside and says it will not be dismissed. All look on. One priest says this girl will argue with us? Papers drop from Zara’s hands.
Kabeer comes to her and says first late and now in this condition? Khalid says enjoy husband-wife fight. Zara sits down and says I am ready. Irfan asks to start the argument.
Zara says the Women of this City wants to pray in Mosques and it’s their right too, but I was told that there is no place for women in Mosques, so it’s not possible, so we went there and showed how we can both pray in Mosques, so where is will, there is a way.
Kabeer says you are right, but why should we cut out on our traditions? Are the Cultures made by our Ancestors not enough? Zara says I just want to ask you all if it’s allowed for women to pray in Mosque or not? All look on. The Priest says it’s allowed.
Kabeer says first, I will say a hadith of the Prophet Mohammad, who said that Allah likes women to pray in the house and the Men to pray in the Mosque.
Zara says then Men shouldn’t pray in houses at all, because they are asked to pray in Mosques, all the women clap for her. Kabeer says our Imam said that the environment of the Mosques can destroy if women go there. Zara says instead of stopping women, you should stop cheap Men from going there, there was a time when women usually didn’t go out, but today, women go to malls, stadiums, ans anywhere men go, then why not Mosques?
Kabeer says because our elders didn’t like it, Zara says if our elders were here today, then they would have allowed women to go there, because Mosques have good environment than malls where women go today, women clap for Zara.
Azaan starts, Irfan says we will argue after Prayers, all leave. Kabeer asks Zara if she was scared of coming here today? Zara says I was preparing to win, Kabeer says I don’t like to win as a charity, he leaves.
Nilofar thinks to praise Zara for money. Nilofar says I had to come here to see such a nice debate, all are praising you. Zara says I am not doing it for praises. Nilofar asks if she can take her to the washroom? Zara shows her the way but slips, Kabeer holds her, Nilofar says you were waiting for her, how romantic, she leaves.
Kabeer recalls how he left Zara at her Parent’s house. Zara says don’t you think you should say sorry for yesterday? Kabeer says if I start counting, then you would keep saying sorry for life. He turns to leave, but Zara holds his hand and asks to promise that today’s decision won’t change their relation. Kabeer says you should promise that. Zara holds his hand and says I promise to not let this case affect our relationship. The Women leader sees it.
Zara says to Kabeer that I am always with you. Kabeer smiles and says I pray that God give what’s right for you. Nilofar sees them. Kabeer pulls his hand back. The Women leader says to Kabeer that your wife is very brave.
Nilofar says Kabeer became famous because of Zara, the leaders should have some thinking like Zara. Zara goes to the washroom. Kabeer angrily leaves. Nilofar smirks seeing the women leader counting money she gave her.
Zara comes to the Committee room and says let’s start the debate. Khalid says but women have decided to withdraw their case. Zara says what? The Women leader says this case is between the husband and wife, they can never go against each other, don’t fool us, the husband will always win. Zara says we are fighting this case as a member of this board. The Women head says that they are both husband and wife, so they don’t want her to lead this case.
Zara says it’s not about me, it’s about women who have the right to go to Mosques. The Women leader says then you have to promise us to stay away from your husband, so he can’t distract you.
Kabeer says we are not here to solve husband-wife issue but a case. Zara recalls how she promised Kabeer to not leave his side. Zara says okay, Kabeer and Zara won’t be married, I announce that, “as long as this case goes on, Zara and Kabeer will not live like husband and wife, they won’t live together, won’t talk outside of the Committee, but I will fight this case for the Women of this City.“
Kabeer is stunned. Irfan asks to start this case. Zara says women from the whole India have signed petition to allow women to pray in Mosques. She shows them the video messages of women asking for rights. Kabeer says great, but I want to tell a hadith, one woman asked our Prophet that she wanted to pray with him, he said that you should go to your neighborhood, to your house and pray there… after this, there is no argument left for women to go to Mosques. Khalid claps. Ifran says we will start argument tomorrow. Kabeer and Zara looks on.
Salma calls Ayesha and her family to her house for Iftar. Salma says to Ayesha that I didn’t tell Zara about calling all of you, as Zara will go back with you. Ayesha says we will take her back.
Kabeer and Zara are leaving Sharia board. Both look at each other tensely. All are chanting for Kabeer. Kabeer stares at Zara and leaves. Zara sits in her Car and sadly looks at Kabeer leaving.
Irfan and Zara comes home. They see Ayesha and others there. Zara greets everyone. Salma says I thought to surprise you. Salma asks Zara where is Kabeer? Zara says he didn’t come, I have decided that until this case is finished, Kabeer and I will stay apart. Salma says to Zara that you shouldn’t have done this, you have kicked on your fate, I shouldn’t have let you go there.
Salma says to Irfan that it was happening in front of you and you didn’t stop her? To hell with this case that is keeping our Children apart! Irfan says it was not Zara’s fault, I would have done the same, this case will end in a day or two. Salma says this case is separating them.
Ayesha says to Salma that I trust Zara, she will handle this case and her relations, Zara smiles at her and says to Salma that I have strong relations with Kabeer, some case can’t break it, she prays for her relations.
Kabeer comes home with Nilofar, he looks around for the family, but gets Ayesha’s message that they have gone to Zara’s house for Iftar. Nilofar says let’s go there, we will enjoy there. Kabeer recalls how Zara said that they will stay away from each other, he says the media has eyes on them, so it’s not good to go there. Nilofar says you care for Zara so much, you people love each other. Kabeer looks on. Nilofar goes to prepare for Iftar.
At Zara’s house, Ayesha says I didn’t leave anything for Kabeer for Iftar, I should go home. Zara says Kabeer is not a Kid, he can prepare his own food.
Kabeer and Nilofar sits to have Iftar, but Shubratan (Zara’s Servant) comes there with food and says Zara sent it for you. Kabeer says she sent all this? I mean it was not needed, Nilofar made a lot of food. Nilofar says eat that food, it has Zara’s aroma. Kabeer says I like samosas, he eats the Iftar prepared by Zara.
All start Iftar at Zara’s house, but she is worried. Ayesha asks her to break her fast. Zara is tensed, but gets Kabeer’s message of thank you, she smiles and breaks her fast.
Zara says to herself that people are reaching moon and says we are fighting to get a right to pray, I wish Kabeer would be with me for the women rights, one day he will agree with me. Zara starts reading her notes, but gets some idea and leaves.
Zara comes to Irfan and asks if she can talk to him? he nods. Zara asks if I did something wrong?
Irfan says no, you were right on your decision, otherwise I would have stopped you. Zara says to him that he’s the most sort after Priest in this City, so what is the answer to Kabeer’s question? She says you have always been with me, will you help me in this test too? Irfan says no, I am just examiner of this case, so I can’t help you, otherwise we will be referred to as Cheater, you have to fight this war alone. Zara hugs him and says you have given me power, I will do everything to win this fight.
Zara is studying for the case. Reema comes there and scares her. She says I was missing you so I came here. Salma brings hot coffee. Zara says Reema, you like cold coffee. Reema says I like both, it must be my choice to drink hot or cold coffee. Zara thinks about it and says it’s your choice to drink what you want? Reema nods. Zara hugs her and says you have given me an idea that the one who is praying should have the right to choose where to pray.
The Sharia board members comes to talk to Kabeer. One member says you can save this nation, you didn’t bow to your Wife, but seems like Irfan is going soft on his daughter, you are our only hope now, and you can win this case for us. Kabeer looks on.
Kabeer comes to the Sharia board and says she is again late. Zara comes there and says you are late. Kabeer says I am always on time, did you get your answer? Zara says I will answer when all comes here. Kabeer sees a book in her hand and asks what she’svreading? He says whoever reads till the end doesn’t have good preparations.
The Board meeting starts, Kabeer says to Zara that I asked you a question yesterday, do you have an answer? Zara shows him a hadith and asks him to read it, he reads that the Prophet said that prayers offered indoors are better than outdoors and better is to pray outdoors instead of in Mosque.
Irfan reads a hadith that Women are allowed to pray in Mosques. Zara says I want to ask that God forbid if theses hadiths are clashing with each other? The Priest says stop it, don’t talk like that about it; one hadith says that women can pray in Mosques and other hadith says that women have the choice to pray indoors too. Zara says that’s what I was saying, God gave us a choice to pray in the house or in the Mosque but you people have made it a restriction, we had the right to choose where we want to pray, but you people made it a point to not let women enter the Mosque; who gave you that right? They all look on.
