Jalal recalls the Flashback of Jodha’s sword incidence in jail, and Ruqaiya’s words and decides to have his revenge!
Jodha is sleeping and she wakes up hearing some noise.
Jalal is shown walking down, she spots Jalal. Jalal says that he has come to take revenge and Jodha shouts!
She comes out of her dream and finds Ruqaiya in front of her. Ruqaiya asks if she’s surprised to find her at this hour And was she waiting for Jalal…, for he will never come to her, as he always spends his time/night with just her (Ruqayia)! She tells her of Jalal’s likes and his habit of achieving things and then, forget about it.
Ruqaiya is gloating about her power over Jalal, and the importance of her in the life of Jalal. She challenges Jodha that she won’t be able to earn any place in Jalal’s life! Jodha says it’s fine, then let’s strike a deal, don’t let Jalal come near me if Jalal truly listens to just her words.
Ruqaiya continues her laughter over her victory and thinks that Jodha was just a pawn/puppet and tells Maham Anga not to emphasize too much on the new queen. Maham Anga cautions her not to laugh too much, as it might be the start of her downfall.
Ruqaiya enters her room where Jalal is waiting for her, and asks her where was she, as he was waiting for her, since he always spends the first night with her when he comes to Agra? Ruqaiya asks why he’s not with his new wife? And then laughs at Jodha’s pitiable condition. She tells him what Jodha had told her, not to let Jalal come near her, and in exchange of that, she will always listen to whatever Ruqayia says.
Jalal gets angry and comes to Jodha’s room. He asks the maids to leave the room. Jalal asks her, why did she behave like that in front of everybody? Jodha tells him that he is drunk. Jalal holds her hand and tells her that it’s only because he HATED her so much, that he married her and wanted to crush her pride, which was the reason why he wanted her to be in his harem! He unveils her, gives her a look over, and tells her that she is a gift for his victory! Then he pushes her and pins her to the wall. He tells her that he has the power to do anything to her, but he won’t even touch her, as that will only raise her importance, that he might fall in love, but he hates her so much! He then leaves, and asks someone to send the message to Ruqayia that he is going to spend the night with her.
Moti is tending to Jodha’s wounds and Jodha says that she sacrificed her life for Amer thinking that she will spend her life like a vegetable, but Jalal has decided to make her life a living HELL.
The ladies are surprised to listen to the devotional songs and hymns. Ruqayia is furious to know that! Some maids later comes and informs her that a man, other than Jalal, has entered the harem.
Jodha tells Maan Singh that he hasn’t done the right thing by visiting here, Maan Singh asks why? Ruqaiya comes and tells that he will be punished for his folly by Jalal! Jodha tells that he is a kid, and he doesn’t really know the rules here. Ruqaiya tells her its only the penalty/punishment that is counted, and not the reasons behind it!
Jalal with all his courtiers, are sitting. Jalal asks Maan Singh about his behaviour? Maan Singh talks back and brings out his point of view. Jalal says that he will definitely be punished! Maan Singh is surprised.
Maan Singh says to Jalal that he promised Jodha that he will keep her safe and happy and that’s why he’s here. Jalal says that’s a very good answer to the King. He says he will definitely get punished. Jalal says the punishment is that he will be with him forever, he will give him the proper training of war and politics.
Maham Anga ask how is this possible? He says he can do anything for one promise, so he can as well do any thing for him in the future, and he is loyal, and they get loyal person with much difficulty. Adham Khan tries to interrupt, but Jalal shuts him up, saying, don’t teach me the rules, as these rules are because of me, and not me because of the rules! He pats Maan Singh and leaves.
Maham Agna says to Adham Khan, what’s happening here? He pats him on his mistake instead of giving him the punishment for coming into the harem all because of Jodha!
The Servant says but he hates her. Maham Agna says there is very little line between love and hate and where there is hate, there is love as well, and she (Maham Anga) is getting scared for the first time, Adham.
In Amer, Bharmal says according to the rituals, they will go to Agra, and he has sent massage to Jalal. So they should start their preparations for going to Agra. Suddenly, Menewati comes in, all tensed. She says she has seen a very bad dream that Jodha isn’t happy, and she has seen she had done Jauhur. They married her to Jalal but she isn’t happy there, that, she’s sure of. She wants to meet her one more time, just this once, but he refuses. She folds her hands and pleads with him, so he relents finally.
Jodha is sitting sadly, when Moti comes in running, all excitedly and says Bharmal is coming to Agra! Jodha is at first, happy at the info, but then goes into thoughts. Moti ask what happened? Jodha says Jalal wants to take revenge and he will not leave any event to insult him. He forgave Maan Singh just to make him a warrior against the people of his own land (Amer) and he will definitely tell Bharmal about her behavior. She can bear any pain, but not her father’s insult. She’s sure he will tell him everything. Moti says so go and talk with Jalal. Jodha says you want me to plead with him? I will never go to him. Moti says then he will give them so much pain, such that her family will really suffer for. She asks if it’s her hatred that is big or the love for her family? And that it’s up to her (Jodha) now to decide.
Sujamal is drinking water, when Shariffudden suddenly put sword on his neck. Sujamal guesses, it’s him. Shariffudden tells his men to attack Sujamal!Sujamal fights with all and kill them. Shariffudden and Sujamal sword fight one on one. Sujamal throws his sword away and says because I am called a betrayer, you killed Suryabhan, and because of that, my family hates me, but I will not kill you because you are Jalal’s relative and my sister has married him. He says take your sword and go and always remember I have forgiven you. Shariffudden murmurs that he will not leave you Sujamal! And he later thinks that Jalal shouldn’t know of this incident, as he will not trust him anymore.
In Amer, they all leave to go to Agra. But Jodha is tensed because of Jalal. Jodha says I don’t trust him. Moti says he is your husband, so talk with him this once. Jodha refuses and Moti says he accepted your conditions before marriage, so speak with him. Jodha agrees, only for Menewati (her mother’s) sake.
Jodha in the Palace asks everyone for where Jalal is? She wants to meet him.
Jalal is taking his bath and some girl informs him that she (Jodha) wants to meet him. He tells her to come in. She comes in and turns, seeing him taking his bath. Jalal ask what she wants? Jodha says Bharmal is on his way here. Jalal says I know. Jodha says I want you to not tell him anything concerning our relationship. Jalal says you want me to lie, that too, because of you? He ask to leave! She is about to go, when Jalal suddenly stops her and says you want me to complete your every demand, but what about me? Since we have met, you have only been just giving me your conditions. Jalal ask what should I tell him then? Jodha says tell him we are happy together. Jalal says I’ll tell him your words, but you have to complete my condition as well. Jodha ask what? He says to finish off the bathing. Jodha is shocked beyond belief, but she has no choice. She slowly goes to his pool and pours milk on him. The jar falls into the water, then she splashes water on him with her bare hand. Jalal is mightily pleased and SATISFIED.
Bharmal and his people arrives at Agra. Jalal and Hameeda bano greets them. Bharmal says he’s very happy with their welcome and wants to say something. Jalal says you are my wife’s father, so kindly say what you want. Bharmal says as per the ritual, the Mother isn’t allowed to come along, but Menewati wanted to meet Jodha, so can she? Hamida bano says it’s her right. Maham Anga ask the Servant to take Menewati to Jodha. Jalal says he will take her to Jodha himself. They come to Jodha who is very happy and hugs her, and touches her mother’s feet. Jalal says you two talk, I’ll leave. Menewati says to Jalal that she doesn’t know anything about your rituals, so forgive her if she does anything wrong. Jalal says who says she doesn’t know anything? She is very clever and picks up everything so fast, just like yesterday, she learned one thing. Jodha in teasing way says to Jalal, you always forget not to come to my room with slippers, as there is Lord’s idol here. Jalal fumes but smiles and says sorry, you only told me about it yesterday and ask about the wound in her hand which happened when Jalal held her hand in the night, when he came to her room. Menewati says wound? Jodha thinks he never leaves any moment to insult me! Jalal thinks I can insult you at any time. He leaves. Menewati says I am very satisfied with Jalal’s behavior. He is very nice with you. Jodha says believe what you are seeing and Jalal has taken the decision to teach Maan Singh by himself.
