Jodha comes to Jalal and says I want to talk to you about something important. Jalal says you come to me only when you have an important talk. Jodha says I’m scared this wedding may change into War between the 2 warriors. Jalal says at least, you consider me as Warrior. Jodha says Bharmal is very much tensed for the both of you and ask him not to fight with him.
Jalal says I thought you care for me, and that’s why you are saying all this, but it’s all because of your father. Jodha says I love him a lot. Jalal says at least, you love someone, he is refrained from you. He says anyways, I promise I will not take the 1st step of War, but I have conditions!
1. If he say something ill about me, my religion or my people, I will forget this promise. Jodha accepts this.
2. You will remain in my tent every night here.
Jodha objects. He says then what would people think about us? Jodha tries to say something, but he shoos her that someone might listen, then says it’s good you can’t even fight with me here. He sit next to her and says the tiger attacked me because of you, so apply medicine on my hand.
She applies it while he smiles. He says my head is aching, so do the massage. He says in Agra, the Servant does it, but here, nobody will acknowledge it, so you will have to do it. He then sits on the ground.
Jodha does his massage, and sees wound on his back. She ask him to take off his shirt. He gets up and says I am a King, what are you saying? Jodha says I will close my eyes, as I apply the medicine on your wound. He take of his Shirt.
Jalal is shirtless. Jodha applies the medicine on his back. He says I don’t know what relation I have with the Jungle, first, it was a Snake, then Tiger and now, Lioness. Jodha says apply it yourself! She leaves.
Shariffudden says thank God the Soldiers that attacked didn’t see us. Adham Khan says my face was covered when I spoke with them, so do not worry. Shariffudden is irritated with Adham Khan’s foolish attitude.
Adham Khan and Shariffudden are discussing that they need to be careful. Shariffudden says seeing your frenzy state, I think you would be successful on getting the throne.
Javeda is having fun with the Servants. Maham Anga comes and ask what are you doing here? Javeda says I was learning Amer’s language, your name will be Mahamsa and his name will be Adhamsa in their language. Maham Anga says you were talking with Servants!
Javeda says I am enjoying here. Maham Anga says so we will leave you here then! Javeda says you will miss me. Maham Anga says Adham Khan’s fate is bad. Javeda says that’s why his dream of becoming a King got crushed. Maham Anga shouts to shut up, and ask her where Adham Khan is? She doesn’t answer. Maham Anga leaves irritated!
Jodha comes to the hall area and meets Menewati, Grandmother, Hamida bano, and greets them.
Jalal also comes there. Jodha says I am going to the Temple to see the goddess. Her Grandmother ask her to take Jalal along. Jodha says maybe his religion doesn’t allow him. Jalal says if you can go to Ajmer with me, then I can come with you as well. Jalal-jodha leaves for the temple.
They come to the temple. Atgah says we’ve checked this place, there is no danger here. Jodha says you also doubt this place too? Jalal says when you are with me, then no need for any other danger, and you know how to make remedy. Jodha says if your taunting is over, then lets go.
Jalal remembers how he came bare footed to Agra’s temple and take off his shoes. Jodha stops him and says you can’t take your sword inside. Jalal ask why? She says did you take it inside in Ajmer, this place is for worship. Jalal gives his sword and turbine to Atgah.
They come inside. Jalal remembers how Jodha prayed in his style in Ajmer, he also does the prayers in her style. Jodha is teary eyed. Jalal ask what happened? Jodha remembers her promise that she will bring Jalal’s head in her lap, she tell this to Jalal. He says so you want me to bow my head? He goes to the goddess and bows his head in her feet and says for the head to bow, it doesn’t mean one should cut his head off, but by putting/bowing his head in her feet is okay.
Jalal says that now, Jodha is happy, as he has fulfilled her wish.
The Priest comes and reiterates Jalal’s views and asks Jodha to perform aarti (lighting of the oil lamp platter). Jodha does the aarti and Jalal is all lost in her.
Maham Anga gets an info from Resham that Jalal went to visit the temple, and she is super furious! Adham Khan is also present there in the room, he talks ill about Jodha. Maham Anga cautions him to hold his tongue, as they are in Amer! Also they are worried that Atgah Khan (Ataga Khan) has accompanied Jalal there.
Jalal asks Jodha why is she sad? She explains how the Temple and the embodiment/jewelries were looted by Jalal’s army and the men were killed mercilessly, and this is why she has so much hatred for him. Jalal is shocked and couldn’t meet her eyes.
Jodha gets blessings from the Priest and even Jalal does the Hindu way of greetings to the Priest and deity once again, and he is deep in thoughts and disturbed by the revelation of Jodha.
Jalal asks Atgah Khan why the true message didn’t reach him! He is very angry and orders that he will get to the bottom of the matter! He’s thinking of all what he will get to fond out in Amer.
Maham Anga comes to Jodha’s room, and scolds Jodha for taking Jalal to the Temple! She goes on and on, on what right she has on Jalal to have taken him to the Temple! Jodha gives her a glass of water to cool her down. Maham Anga throws the glass away out of fury.
Jodha throws the ball in her Court and asks her to go and question Jalal himself. They both have a face-off and Maham Anga is super angry at Jodha, and swears that she will take revenge on her for her actions!
Maham Anga reaches Jalal when a guard stops her for security check. Maham Anga at first, doesn’t greet him and tells him that the security is quite tightened in Amer! She tells him that he has done a grave mistake in going to the Temple! Jalal tells her that if Jodha can go to Ajmer, then even he can go to the Temple. He assures her that his religion is not in danger and tells her that it’s only to gain political mileage that he went to the Temple and has come to Amer.
Maham Anga kisses his forehead, and he kisses her hand.
The Sisters in-laws tease Sukanya. Jodha comes there and they tease her too. Jodha tells that she had a very nice visit to the Temple. Sukanya is very anxious as to how she will behave after marriage, and asks her how to make one’s husband fall in love, as she has been married for quite long now?
Jodha tells her that Jalal and Jodha are very different in the views, mentally and religion wise. They both have a heart to heart talk, and promise that it will be a secret between the two of them. But Jodha was contemplating.
Jalal comes to an elephant and tells Bhagwant Das how it has been so loyal since ages, and gets a flashback.
Adham Khan looks at Jalal and smirks.
On the other hand, Pratap is with a horse and talks high of him. The Minister/Kings try to instigate Pratap, but he doesn’t fall prey to their words and says that he will meet Jalal at the War front and not in Amer, where he is the guest.
Adham Khan comes to his room, and thinks Javeda as some maid. He tries to flirt with her, but gets to know that it’s her. Adham Khan asks who gave her Amer’s clothes and she says Jodha’s Grandmother.
Jodha comes to Jalal’s room who was in thinking mode. He asks her what’s her query? She tells that she’s worried if his people would have any issues regarding his visit to the Temple? He assures her that there will be no problem.
Jodha hears a sound, and asks Jalal to go and figure out, giving him a dagger. He goes out and finds 4 Children (girls) there. He gets them inside and narrates a story of the Princess and the King, and both Jalal-Jodha steal glances at each other.
The 4 Children (girls) go off to sleep. Menewati comes to get them, but Jalal says let them sleep in his room too. Jodha also agrees. Menewati leaves.
Jodha tells Jalal to sleep properly, else her father will get worried. He says she’s still more concerned about her father. They both exchange glances, and he gave her that never mind look, that she has nothing to worry about.
