The lady Inspector enters, warning Karan to stop what he was doing, as he is the star of the crowd and they might get worried. She asks if the Aunt is coming, but when she hears that there is no evidence, the Inspector is about to send everyone away and keep Prithvi in jail.
Preeta finds out the time of the crime and thinks that she was in her room that day after Mahesh left, but called Prithvi to ask for his number, and got to know that he was in his house picking out an outfit for the Wedding. Preeta then presents the proof that Prithvi is innocent.
Karan abruptly says that she is trying to protect him, Preeta explains that she is doing this because he is innocent and it’s also wrong for the Police to arrest an innocent person. Preeta explains that Mahesh came to meet her in her house and it was before the time of the accident.
The Police Inspector says that Prithvi claimed to be out of town when the crime happened. Preeta then says that it was indeed wrong for Prithvi to lie that he was out of town then, but he might have said it out of fear, so she has to give the benefit of the doubt.
Preeta asks Sarla if she remembers that she came to ask her if they have sent the sweets to his house? Sarla back Preeta’s claim, but Kareena jumps in saying that they are both about to be his relatives, so it’s obvious they will support him, but Preeta explains that her Mother is not a liar. Preeta further explains that they should call his Designer, as he was with the designer even at the time of the accident.
Preeta asks Karan what he wants to talk about? Karan says that he now feels that what the elders say, that they have to pay for their past sins is true, because he met her, someone who is defending the criminal, that had tried to kill his father. Preeta explains that she’s doing this because she knows he is innocent. Karan says that Prithvi is wrong, as Mahesh said it himself, but Preeta explains that he also blamed her for the same act when she came to meet Mahesh in the hospital.
Karan says that she should stop what she is doing because it will have consequences! She asks what else will happen, as he already hates her which she can bear, but she can’t bear such talk of his.
Preeta is adamant about saving him, saying that she will stand by an innocent person, but Karan explains that she wants to save Prithvi, he asks if he means anything in her life and what is his value to her, compared to Prithvi? Preeta answers that Prithvi has more importance to her than him, since Prithvi is going to marry her and has always supported her. He asks who would defend her from him now? She walks out, and he gets frustrated.
Karan and Preeta comes, he asks what is happening? The Inspector says that there is a drama going on, as the Designer is not picking the call. Karan asks her what more does she want, as there is no one coming.
Prithvi’s Mother comes with the designer and when asked, he says that he was with Prithvi at that time. They both yell at him, accusing him of lying, and urging him to tell the truth! Preeta pleads that they both calm down, otherwise he might not be able to tell them what the truth is. The designer explains that he was with Prithvi at his house and they were designing his clothes.
The Inspector orders to release Prithvi as they do not have any right to hold him captive, she also asks the designer to give his statement.
Karan is frustrated when Prithvi comes out coughing, saying that he (Karan) tried to do all that he could to land him in jail, and explains that he tried to harm him, and that he will stand face to face against him (Prithvi), but he wasn’t aware that the fielder was him (Prithvi), he explains that he came out of the jail, and will also take back his position at the Temple when he knocked him down. Prithvi says that he (Karan) might love her, but Preeta loves Prithvi and proved this by making sure he gets free. Karan says that he has no interest in being the hero in Preeta’s life as he hates her, but Prithvi doesn’t believe him, saying that he is lying.
Karan says that he only wanted to get married because he had to take his revenge, but Prithvi says that they were both fighting secret wars but now, they are in the open and can do it face to face.
Preeta’s family comes, they both stand face to face, Sarla says that they have completed the formalities and they can now leave, he says that he’s happy to see that they love her. Sarla asks him to hurry up, as it has gotten very late for the Wedding. Prithvi also leaves taunting him.
The Luthras comes there, trying to calm Karan down, explaining that they will prove that Prithvi is the criminal! Karan leaves, and Rishab also asks all of them to go back home, as he has something to do.
Rishab vows to do just anything that he would bring out the truth about Prithvi. He promises to put Prithvi back in jail!
Prithvi gets into the Car with everyone, he feels that his mother is really tensed, he gets a call from Sherlyn explaining that she wants to meet him at the back of the Police Station in 5 minutes or she will expose him! He explains to everyone then that he has to sign a Paper and leaves.
Sherlyn is waiting for him, he greets her, but she tries to kill him saying that he has cheated on her, because he first tried to act as if he’s her lover, but is now marrying Preeta. Prithvi tries to explain that someone might see them but she’s less concerned, as she’s really frustrated.
Prithvi asks her to hurry up and tell her what she has come here to say, she enquires why he’s in such a hurry? He says that she must understand that if he gets married to Preeta, then it will be the most beneficial for the both of them. Sherlyn then explains that she was the one that saved him, but it was because they had a beautiful past, he gets worried thinking that she was the one who saved him? She explains that at first, she refused to help him, but then, thought that if he tells the truth, then it will be problematic for her too, so she just had to help him.
Sherlyn explains that when they were together and waiting for Raga’s call, he got a call from someone that said he was the Designer. She says she then thinks of what to do and so called the Designer and after giving him money, she explained to him exacyly what he has to say, she then called Prithvi’s mother and asked her to take him inside the Police Station.
Karan and Sameer sit in the Car, he’s very angry. Sameer ask if they should go home, but he explains that they will go to the Wedding as he has to marry Preeta.
Prithvi wonders if that was the reason his mother was tensed? Sherlyn says that Prithvi’s Mother also knows about his crimes now. She tells that her Mother knows he was the one behind Mahesh accident, she says that now, Preeta will not be able to enter the Luthra’s house, as she has saved the one that is behind the Mahesh accident. She also says that now, she will not meet him and remain loyal to Sarla, so they won’t meet. She tells that he must marry Preeta, as she is going to marry the Luthra’s enemy (Prithvi).
Prithvi then gets a call from Sarla, who says that they are getting late and they have to marry ASAP, because after this auspicious day, it can’t happen again.
The Priest explains to Bi jee that they have to get them married on this day, because they won’t be able to hold the marriage anymore, and says if the wedding is delayed any longer, it will be bad luck. They are still talking when all of them comes.
The Priest explains that they have to start the rituals again as the bride has left the Temple. Prithvi asks for some time to get freshened up, as he’s tired. Bi jee also takes Preeta away to get freshened up.
Rishabh is on his way home, driving and thinking of what Mahesh said to him, he is about to run into a drunk man in the street. He gets out of the Car and helps the drunk man cross the road safely. The man asks him why he looks sad. He asks if Rishab has gone through the phase of a broken heart? Rishabh tells the man that the woman he loves is marrying someone else, and his father is in a coma and he’s not able to control anything. The drunk man asks him to express his feelings, as she might end the marriage then, relieving him from the guilt that he wasn’t able to do it. Rishab thinks that the Stranger has said the truth, he then decides to take his advice.
Sarla is with Prithvi’s Mom, she asks her why she is still looking worried? Sarla explains that it’s not the case, but she is wondering what wrong they have done, to be facing a lot of difficulties in the Wedding. Shrishti says that she knows the reason, but no one wants to listen to her. Dhe answers that she feels they should not do this, as God has decided something else. Sarla taunts her for talking nonsense!
Preeta comes back, Prithvi’s Mom asks Sarla to come, as they should both get freshened up, they leave, and Bi jee makes Preeta sit in the Temple. She is sitting when Rishab enters, he is thinking of all the romantic moments that he has spent with her, she comes asking what he is doing here? He answers that he has to discuss something with her.
Rishabh quotes an incident ‘where Preeta saved a Thief boy who stole some food’, and she explains that she remembers it, he asks her to remain quiet, as he will now tell her what he feels. Rishab explains that she was his only girlfriend in his life, he has never said anything to a girl except her and her Mother, he says that Karan has the mindset of a kid and their relationship is not something that can be solved after taking just any turn, however, he is not that stupid, because when he ends a relationship, he doesn’t look back.
