Preeta takes the entire blame of all that has happened with Mahira on herself, explaining that she never wanted Karan to get engaged. Karan asks the reason that she wanted that? Kareena mentions that everyone has found out the truth, then why is he still asking her questions?
Rishab stops her saying that she should at least let her answer the question, Preeta responds that the reason she wanted it was because she wanted to hurt him and cause him pain, she explains that he was very happy, so she came to destroy and ruin all of them, as she could not see them happy just like he took away her happiness, so she wanted to take revenge, just like he did, when he came to ruin her wedding.
Kareena asks everyone if they have heard what Preeta said herself, that she came to stop Karan’s wedding, as she wants to take revenge, she says that they both have no respect and their mother always comes to talk of respect, but they both have no respect themselves and this time, she will not call Sarl, but the Police, who will come to arrest them.
Janki gets a call from Rupali, pleading to talk with Sarla, Janki explains that she cannot come as she’s fast asleep, but she can tell her what it is, to relay it to her, once she wakes up. Janki asks what the issue is, to which Rupali explains that Preeta and Shrishti are both in the party in disguised, and that she should come and save them, as they are both been blamed by the Luthra’s and it’s getting really awkward now, since she knows fully well that Preeta will never do anything of the sort, she’s been accused of. Janki gets really angry and vows to make the Luthra’s pay for what they have done to her daughters!
Sarla comes asking her what has happened, she refuses to open up, saying that Sarla must go back to her bed and she will bring her water.
Karan’s Grandma is constantly blaming the Aurora sisters for ruining the engagement, she explains that they have always given them the love that they deserve, but they have ruined everything and proven that there is nothing like family, and it has gotten way too far this time around!
Mahira explains that she feels Preeta is jealous of her, so she asks her to explain. Karan also asks her for the reason, he is constantly wanting her to explain that she still loves him, but she thinks that she will make him pay and never exclaim that she still has feelings for him, so she mentions that she doesn’t care about the girl he marries, because she will be an ill lucked person and will always remain unhappy.
Karan stares at her thinking that she came with the idea that he will suffer just like she did when he left her on the roadside, but now, nothing like that will happen and he will marry Mahira.
The Police arrive asking who called them? Kareena explains that they were called, as both the sisters came in disguise with an aim to ruin the wedding, she proposes that they arrest the both of them, so they can continue their function.
The Police try to arrest the both of them, but Shrishti explains that she’s the one responsible for the whole thing, so they shouldn’t arrest her sister, Preeta. They are still arguing about it, when Mahira comes, saying that they should arrest the both of them.
Rishab then says that they shouldn’t arrest anyone, but Kareena is adamant on getting them arrested, so the Police decides to arrest the both of them, they are about to take them away, when Karan stops them, he takes Preeta’s hand and takes out the ring from her finger saying that it belonged to him and she mentioned that she did not care about his engagement so now he will carry on with the engagement just now, he calls for the Priest, as the time is running out. The Police takes them away.
Janki is taking care of Sarla when she gets a call from Preeta, who explains that she and Shrishti have been arrested by the Police for breaking into the Luthra mansion, so she can call their Uncle who will get their bail.
Sarla takes the phone and listens to her explaining that she never wanted to go but was forced to because of Shrishti, She asks for the Police station and she’s ready to leave for the place, but Janki also wants to accompany her. She agrees.
Shrishti asks if Sarla had picked the call and explains that she will come to make sure that they remain in jail now. Preeta explains that she would never do anything of the sort, as no mother can do this. They both worry about what she will do when they reach their house, they are still talking when the Constable asks them to wait at the bench.
The Priest is carrying on with the engagement when he asks Karan to place the ring in Mahira’s finger, he gets tensed and doesn’t listen, also taking steps backword, but when everyone forces him to place the ring in her finger, he takes it, but again stops. Maira is left confused about what has happened to Karan, he thinks of when Preeta wore the ring before looking at Mahira.
Karan was preoccupied about Preeta, as he held Mahira’s hand. He recalls Preeta allowing him to do whatever he wants to, with his life. Mahira now turns to put the ring in Karan’s finger, but Karan looked away.
Kritika and Sameer are unhappy about the engagement, while the others applaud them. Rakhi distributes the sweets and hugs Karan.
Mahira is happy that Preeta and Shrishti made all the efforts to stop her wedding with Karan, but all in vain. Soon, she will be Mrs. Luthra.
Shrishti sits with Preeta and shares her fears of Sarla. Preeta blames Shrishti for always taking unthoughtful steps! Sarla and Janki reach the Police station. Sarla speaks to the Inspector about their bail. The Inspector asks if this is how Sarla has brought her daughter up? She must keep them within their limits! Sarla argues with the Inspector that her daughters have been well brought up, so why has he arrested her daughters??The Inspector says her daughters went for someone’s engagement, and tried to break it. Sarla questions if he knows the whole truth? She presents the papers of bail and demands the Inspector to release them. The Preeta and Shristi sign the papers.
Sarla turns to leave when Preeta and Shrishti hug her. Sarla says they will talk about it at home. Janki tells them not to cry, Sarla is their mother and the least she could do is to scold them nothing more.
It was night. Mahira was standing in her room. Ramona tells her about her dad’s call, but Mahira wasn’t interested in speaking to him. She’s only happy and complements her engagement ring.
Karan played with the flame of candle while in his room. Out of frustration, he puts the flame off. He was thinking about Preeta and badly drunk. Rishab comes to his room. Karan asks where Rishab had been? Rishab curtly says he wasn’t there, and won’t even attend his wedding. He says Karan has grown up and doesn’t need any advices from the elders. He will no longer be at Karan’s side. Karan asks what Rishab wants to say? Rishab question if this even matters to him at all? He only wanted to see how Karan can save his Wife from the Police; he wanted to save Preeta, but couldn’t. Karan is her husband, it was his responsibility to protect her, he stood there while people disgraced his Wife, and the Police even arrested her, right in front of him (Karan), and he did nothing to stop it! He says he (Rishab) always stood with Karan in every matter, but today, he is hurt at heart. He claims to the whole world that his brother is his hero, his star; Karan left him with no words and pride. He says Karan has grown up and need no support or advice.
Karan gets aggressive and shouts at Rishab to kill him, hit him and fight with him then! He questions why Rishab is angry and upset today?? Rishab says he is shouting because Karan didn’t shout today. Karan blames Rishab for not caring about him. Rishab grabs his collar, asserting if he doesn’t care at all?? It’s alright, he would leave Karan doing whatever he wants to! He leaves the room.
Preeta was sleepless at night. Shrishti asks why she is so restless? Preeta says she finds this window in front of her and it’s heartbroken everytime. Shrishti apologizes for everything that happened today.
The next morning, Sarla comes out of the room shouting for Janki. Preeta replies that Janki isn’t home. Sarla stood silently for a while, then turns to leave. Shrishti speaks to Sarla that Preeta had no mistake in all this. Sarla says she is angry at Shrishti and Preeta, but more than that, she is angry with theLuthra’s!! How could they send her daughters to the Police station for such a minor act?? Preeta apologizes to Sarla. Sarla nods at her. Preeta runs to hug Sarla. Shrishti tries to hug them, but Sarla scolds Shrishti for taking all the unthoughtful decisions, without consulting anyone!
Sarla answers a door bell, it was Rupali and her sister, Neha. Rupali comes inside and says she thought Preeta must be at her in-laws. She asks about Preeta’s second marriage? Sarla dislikes it. Rupali had come to give them her wedding invitation, She taunts that it seems marriage isn’t in Preeta’s luck.
Neha says that she thinks it’s not in Preeta’s luck to marry, as she finds boys, but she’s still not able to get married.
Shrishti gets really angry with her, but Sarla stops her, mentioning that she is right and everyone wishes that they look best at their wedding, but she will not be able to see it, as when she will be sitting in her function and they arrive, everyone will look at her daughters and it will be because of their character, which she never has. Neha answers that Sarla is living in a fantasy and if her daughter is so good, then why is she living with her and not in her husband’s house??
Rupali apologizes for her Sister’s reaction, to which Sarla agrees to go to her Sister’s wedding. Sarla agrees, but Shrishti is not happy with her, saying that they will go only at the time of the wedding which is because they are not really good and misbehaved with them. Sarla says that they will go as they cannot make everyone remain quiet, so they will have to move forward. She also warns her that Preeta and Srishti will look so beautiful that no one will look at her, the bride.
