Anjali goes to Arjun explaining that she could not tell them what she was doing and she only wanted to stop this marriage at any cost, she desired to protect him which is why she is wearing the same dress as Preeta, Anjali explained she was really scared because if anyone of them found out then would throw her out of the house.
Rakhi asks why did she want to stop this marriage, Anjali blames them for trying to manipulate Arjun because he is a nice person, they all wanted to use his good behavior because she also found the truth, Anjali blames they all just wanted to protect Rishab.
Anjali explains she knew it beforehand that Rishab is about to be arrested because the land has problems and this way they can all repay the loan to save Rishab, Arjun questions why would Preeta do it when she herself agreed to marry and he had already transferred the entire property in her name, Anjali explains that the papers would only be valid when she marries him as the name is Preeta Arjun Soorvyanshi.
Anjali blames that they all have lied to him, she shows the news in which the editor explained the Luthra’s just want to protect their son Rishab, Arjun is heart broken after remembering how Preeta was enjoying her life with Rishab when he first came to the Luthra Mansion.
Shristhi requests Arjun to not believe any of them but she explains she would call Sherlyn and ask her such questions that he would surely believe everything, Arjun agrees so Shristhi calls Sherlyn, she is in the auto with Prithvi and is tensed seeing the call. Prithvi asks why she is calling when Sherlyn refuses to answer the call because they do not know what Anjali said about them and what if Shristhi wants to get them arrested, Sherlyn thinks they have to stay away from the Luthra’s because it is really bad to keep a relation with them.
Anjali asks why are they not understanding because Arjun wanted to ruin them and he even defeated their son Rishab, but then Preeta agreed to marry him like nothing happened, she asks why would someone like Preeta agree to marry him when she knows that he has tried to ruin them.
Anjali blamed that now they all would say that they feel he is their son, Anjali explains she is saying Preeta is the best daughter but only when it is relating to her family, she blames Preeta for becoming the worst human when something happens against her family, Preeta is shocked.
Anjali tries to convince Arjun that he should not refuse to accept that this entire family just cares for their son Rishab, she asks when did they supported him because they just care for their son, Anjali explains that they all are playing games with him which is only to end the loan of Rishab.
Preeta stops Anjali asking why is she lying, she asks Arjun if he actually thinks his entire family is lying along with his wife, Anjali asks if he does not trust her asking why would she lie, Preeta replies that she is wearing the same clothes as her which reveals her intentions.
Preeta blames that Prithvi was wearing Arjun’s clothes as he wanted to marry her but she is also wearing the same clothes like her, Anjali instructs Preeta to shut up explaining she revealed what was the reason, she asks what was the problem if she took the help of Prithvi, she explains that she planned to do everything by herself.
Preeta replies if she thought that they all were lying then should have questioned them but she planned to marry Arjun, which is why she took her place and herself revealed the reason by saying it is her right over the vermilion of Arjun. Anjali accepts that she loves Arjun, the entire Luthra family is shocked when Preeta replies that her truth has come out, Anjali tries to pull Arjun explaining now that the truth has come out there is no reason to say here.
Arjun angrily asks why did she do it, Preeta replies Anjali revealed her plans to her, Arjun angrily says that Preeta has also deceived him, he blames that they all have deceived him questioning what crime has he committed.
Rakhi goes to Arjun, explaining she does not care what happens here and who is right or wrong but she just knows he is her son, and her Karan so he should tell her when she was upset in the room, he brought tea for her and when his marriage was arranged, the designer brought the dresses he send back Anjali agreeing to her desire, she asks why does he care so much for her so what relation does she have with him.
Rakhi asks when she saw the birth mark on his arm in the hospital, she was sure he is her son and told everyone but no one believed her, they felt she was lying and confused but then Preeta and Shristhi played a small game to find out the truth about his identity, she explains they took his signatures and fingerprints and got them tested in the laboratory after which they were a match, but they all started wondering why does he hate his family if he is actually Karan.
Rakhi explains then the business rivalry between him and Rishab resulted in them all to not believe he is Karan because he could not even think of doing anything wrong with his brother but she was sure there is something due to which he is behaving in such a manner, Rakhi informs the only reason she accepted his proposal is because she knew that Preeta would be happy with him as her husband.
Anjali tries to warn Arjun to not accept as these are all just stories, Mahesh replies what is she saying because they all were confused thinking why is their own son not revealing the truth about his identity to them.
Kareena also explains they felt it but were not ready to believe it to be the truth, Rakhi explains they have not forgotten him in these past five years, Sameer informs they have celebrated his birthday just as how he would celebrate it, Kritika reveals they never commemorate his death anniversary, Mahesh explains he was still among them even when he was not present.
Anjali blames them all for causing a drama because they celebrated the anniversary of Rishab and Preeta, Rakhi angrily replies it was just because of a society as she never wanted Preeta to become a widow, Karina mentions Kavya also had the right and it was their need to do it.
Rakhi informs they both remained as just friends since even now Karan is alive in their hearts. Shristhi informs that Prithvi came to their house after his death and claimed her child is his, Bani Dadi says this is why they performed the ritual to protect Preeta from Prithvi.
Anjali pleads with him to not believe them since they are all lying, Preeta asks Arjun to come with him and she would show how she kept Karan alive in her life, Arjun angrily asks what does she want to prove, Preeta explains he is not believing them when his entire family is trying to convince they are not wrong, Arjun says he doesn’t want to see anyone, she asks why does he not want to see because Anjali feels his family doesn’t love him, she mentions it is not her fault but he himself would have said it to her.
Preeta explains she is blaming them for what happened, Arjun says he knows his family really loves him but he is talking about her because she forgot him and moved ahead in her life, Preeta says what she did under the pressure of the family and to safeguard their daughter, but her feelings have no meaning in his life.
Preeta takes out the photos from the drawer explaining she has saved all the memories they had with each other, she explains she never desired to get ready but would only apply it for him, she explains she kept the photos to remain close with him but he is saying she moved on in her life.
Preeta takes out the box from the wardrobe, she holds all the glasses in her hands asking if he remembers them because he was really crazy and wanted to wear a new one each and every day, she explained that she kept these close to her heart so would think he is seeing her from them, Preeta asks what did he say that she moved on, she explains he knows she was not interested in the cricket match but ever since he left, she has watch his every match more then five thousand times.
Arjun tries to explain but she angrily walks to the wardrobe, asking if he remembers the five dupatta because he gave them to her, Arjun recalls the memory, she explains he ruined a lot of her dupatta but then brought these five dupattas for her, she mentions she lived for five years with them, Preeta says if he had any idea how painfully she spent these years then would have come to her a long time ago, Arjun reveals that he lost his memory after the accident.
Preeta says he was blaming her for moving on but he himself moved ahead as it is really difficult to spend the life while remembering the person they love, Arjun hugs Preeta requesting her to control herself, Preeta once again rushes to pick the hat asking if he still does not believe, Arjun remembers how he would tease her with it. Preeta explains she is showing these because she does not have any other thing and he is saying she does not love him, she starts crying so he hugs her and is also weeping.
Preeta explains she was about to tell him the truth after their marriage to prove she did not forget him and if he would ask her to marry him she would always agree, Arjun gets emotional so once again hugs her.
Preeta replies but not anymore as she is really angry at him, he says she always tends to get angry at him, Preeta replies she has kept his things for a lot of time but not anymore so he must take them away, arjun mentions she is yelling at him just like she used to do in the past, Preeta replies this is what he deserves.
Arjun hugs Preeta and they both start crying, he recalls all of the beautiful moments he has spent with her, how happy they both were together. Preeta is also crying when he consoles her due to which he finally wipes of her tears, he asks if she is so angry with him inquiring about the reason, she questions if he would ever leave her again, Arjun assures he will always stay with her, she getting emotional once again hugs her.
Arjun calls her with the same nickname, bitter melon, informing if she doesn’t show the same affection, then today it would be bad for him.
Rishabh is shocked, Anjali questions why he is acting like this as if he doesn’t know the reason so she explains that he must not act as if he doesn’t know the reason Arjun and Preeta have married each other, Rishab warns her to not misbehave with him as he is respecting her for being a women, he warns to not hear even a single word against Preeta.
Anjali questions why he got Arjun and Preeta married for the sake of business, Rishab says that this is the problem with them all because they consider it to be a balance sheet, but relations are made from the heart, he says they would not be able to understand his relationship with Preeta. Anjali questions how long they would act that his relation with Preeta is pure.
Arjun angrily asks Anjali to stop, she says that this family do not deserve his love but Arjun asks if she even knows who these people are, informing this is his family and Rishab is his brother. The entire Luthra family is shocked.
Anjali is walking over to Arjun asks if he forgot what this brother did with him, along with Preeta and the people whom he is calling his family, do they know what Rishab and Preeta did with karan, Anjali blames that Rishab and Preeta both were the reason for the death of Karan, the entire Luthra family is shocked hearing this, Rishab angrily questions if she has lost her mind, Anjali replies it is the truth that Preeta and Rishab both were the reason behind Karan’s death.
Anjali blames they both wanted to form their own relation and so took Karan out from that equation, Rishab is not able to control himself but Mahesh is forced to stop him, Rishab asks why would he do this to his own brother. Preeta also asks Anjali to stop questioning what is she saying, Preeta asks Arjun what does he think the truth is, Arjun replies that Rishab and Preeta threw him from the hill.
Rishab gets frustrated questioning if this is the reason, he punished them only because he thought that they were the reason behind his death, Rishab explains that his entire family was eagerly waiting for him, he mentions if Karan got ill, he also suffered so says it can never happen, Rishab threatens to slap Arjun, he says he saw both Rishab and Preeta together on that cliff.
Rishab explains he was not present in the wedding but they all felt he was Karan and the reason he hid the truth, Mahesh mentions this is why he asked Rishab to find out the truth, Rishab replies even Arjun would not be able to understand the reason, which is why he asked the detective to find out about everything that happened in these years.
Rishab instructs Sameer to bring the laptop, he explains that there was another couple who was wearing the same clothes as him and Preeta dear, he informs even he was shocked.
Sameer informs the video has been played, Rishab shows that these are the people who are wearing the same clothes as him and Preeta, the entire family is shocked.
Rishab forces Arjun to stand asking if he has understood the truth, Rishab questions if he really thinks they can push him from the cliff, he asks Arjun to see what has happened to his family, he is not able to understand anything.
Anjali blames the video for being fake, the entire Luthra family is shocked. Rishab questions who should they believe, Preeta also asks how can the video be fake when even Karan was present in that video.
Anjali still blames the video for being fake but Kareena questions if she has stopped seeing, Dadi instructs Anjali should leave from this house because Arjun himself can see what is the truth.
Anjali tries to go to Arjun but Preeta comes in between them mentioning Anjali is not a member of their family, so Anjali doesn’t have to say anything. Anjali blames they are not his family but are all acting, Preeta replies she is not a family member!
Arjun accepts that the Luthras are his family and they have indeed helped him in the past five years but this does not mean he would stop living with his real family because he has understood that Rishab and Preeta never tried to kill him, so he really loves his family.
Rishab hugs Arjun and they both start crying, he then hugs the rest of the family one by one as they are all also very emotional. Arjun goes to hug Mahesh but he first slaps him, seeing which the entire family is tensed then Arjun hugs him, he holding the hand of Preeta accepts that he is indeed her Karan, hearing this the entire family is also emotional and Preeta hugs him.
Anjali is shocked seeing this, Rishab is still crying.
Anjali blames Preeta for finally fulfilling her game plan by trapping Arjun, she asks how Arjun forgot everything and what has Preeta done to him, she mentions Preeta slapped him in front of the media and even forced him to stay away from his own daughter, Arjun defends Preeta saying that she sided with the truth but he was wrong and should apologize to his family for causing all those problems.
Rakhi explains there is no need to apologize, Arjun informs he would surely thank Bhagwan as he made Preeta realize that he is her Karan which is why she was ready to get married, he knows that she can never belong to anyone else. Rishab is also smiling. Anjali is not able to believe it, she gets really furious and seeing the knife picks it up, she threatens to harm Preeta by placing the knife around her neck, the entire Luthra family suggests that she must not make this mistake.
Anjali blames Preeta for snatching Arjun from her because she is a deceiver, she vows to take her life, the entire Luthra family threaten Anjali if she harms Preeta, Shristhi replies she would kill Anjali with the same knife but Anjali replies she would do what she desires, Rakhi suggests that she must stop believing the lie as he is not Arjun but her son Karan, Kareena informs he is the brother of Rishab and Preeta’s husband.
Rishab requests her to put down the knife but Anjali demands that he must apologize to her for the way he talked, Arjun questions why would he apologize when he has not done anything wrong, Rishab apologizes instructing her to put down the knife.
