Kabeer is sadly sitting in his room and recalls Kashan’s harsh words, about how he runs the house, and how Kabeer can’t even earn a penny, and that his whole life is a debt. Kabeer cries. He imagines Kashan taunting him that “your life is empty like this room, I will get your position, because you snatched it from me, you drive a Car, but you are useless! You live in a house, but you are homeless! You became the Vice Chiarman, because of others, you are nothing, you have no worth!” Kabeer gets angry and breaks a chair in anger, he screams and cries.
Ayesha is knocking on his door, asking him to come out, I will ask Kashan to say sorry to you. Alina says talk to us. Zara says let him be for sometime, let him take out his anger. She takes Ayesha and Alina away from there.
Zeenat gives Kashan a charity and says you made me proud today, I felt like the elder daughter-in-law, for the first time, today. I used to feel my husband has no value, but what you did today, I can proudly say it that Zara and Kabeer are living on our favours, we are the ones raising them.
Kabeer comes to Shehbaz’s room, but turns to leave, when Shehbaz comes there and hugs him.
Zara is worried about Kabeer and says he’s not in his room, where did he go?
Kabeer says to Shehbaz that what happened was wrong, you are responsible for it, you kept telling me to become the Qazi/Chiarman of this City, you evem sente to madrasa, and I became a Doctor of Islam, you even asked me to become the leader of this Nation, of which I did everything to fulfill your dreams, and now I see this? Kashan taunted me in front of everyone, in front of my wife that I am nothing but a beggar! If respect means earning money, then you should have told me and I would have done everything to earn money, why did you ask me to work on making a name?
Shehbaz says I want to tell you that Kashan and you are different, Kashan runs this house, but your work isn’t to earn money. Your mission is to make this house proud, you will become the leader of this nation, you will not run one house, forget about Kashan, it’s how he sees things, but you have to touch the sky, money doesn’t matter to you, your father has everything sorted out, so all you need do is to follow your religion, become the leader of the whole Country.
Kabeer thinks about it. Shehbaz says a poetry to him, and tells that you are a light that lights up after 1000 years. Kabeer smiles and hugs him.
Zara hears all this standing at the door. She looks on and leaves. Zara think that Kabeer will move ahead in life if he takes religion as well as the world together, I will make him realize that you can be successful only when you run your world and religion side by side, I promise to help you.
Zara recalls Shehbaz’s words to only work on religion and don’t think ever think about the world. She thinks that Shehbaz showed only one side of his image to Kabeer and I will show him the other side.
Zara is walking in the corridor when she hears Kashan talking to Shehbaz. Shehbaz says to Kashan that I failed in teaching you business. Kashan says have been giving you profit. Shehbaz says business grow with vision, you couldn’t see my vision, my vision is to get the Sharia board, and why did you think I sent Kabeer to madrasa? And made him the Vice Chiarman? He asks to make him the leader of a nation? No, my vision is different, you know there are many institutes of Sharia board in the City, there are many properties under them, I ate all of them, I want to get all the business from the Sharia board. Kabeer can become the leader of the nation, but we will do business for the Sharia
board.
Kashan says you started planning for today since 20 years back? Zara is stunned and thinks of how Shehbaz has trapped them from both sides.
Shehbaz says to Kashan that this is my vision, we just have to make sure that Kabeer runs on the path we have defined for him, only then would we be fine. Kashan hugs him. Zara is stunned to hear all that, and thinks to tell Kabeer everything.
Zara recalls Shehbaz’s words that he’s behind the Sharia board business and wants to get everything, and how he has asked Kashan to keep Kabeer under control.
Zara knocks on Kabeer’s door and says Kabeer? Kabeer says I don’t want to talk to you, go to sleep. Zara says it’s important, I am standing at your door step the whole night. Kabeer says I don’t care. Zara says listen to me. He doesn’t open the door. Zara waits outside. Kabeer lies on the bed but couldn’t sleep. He sees it’s 1AM and calls Zara. Zara ends the phone call.
Kabeer hears noise coming from outside and thinks she is stubborn, he says I am not talking to you! Zara says I am not moving, I am staying outside your room, she sits there. Kabeer thinks she is stubborn! Zara thinks that Kabeer feels he’s doing the nation help, unbeknown to him that Shehbaz is only doing business.
Kabeer thinks that I know she’s very stubborn, but it’s cold outside and she is my Wife… he tries to open the door, but thinks if I listen to her today, then I will keep listening to her my whole life, but later thinks that as long as she’s sitting outside, I can’t sleep. He comes out and says you can’t let me sleep, he drags her inside.
Zara says I have to talk to you about father. Kabeer stops and asks what about father? I will call him, you can talk in front of him. He calls Shehbaz. Zara thinks it’s useless to tell Kabeer anything, he won’t listen to me, I will tell him only at the right time. Kabeer says should I call father? Zara says no, can we talk about you, please?
Kabeer drags her to her room. Zara says you changed your room, you said you are searching for your path in the world, you got God’s path and won the world. Kabeer puts her in the room, and locks it from outside, and says you will know which path I am going to follow tomorrow morning. He turns to leave, but then unlocks her door and leaves.
In the morning, Zara says I am late for breakfast, I want to know what decision Kabeer took. She comes to the lounge to see Kabeer hugging Kashan. Shehbaz says you are both my support, it’s not about earning money, but utilizing time, Kabeer will spend time to do work for religion, and Kashan will do business. Kashan and Kabeer smiles. Zara is tensed. Alina rushes to Zara and excitedly says father has made them patch up with each other! Zara looks at Kabeer tensely. He looks away. Zara thinks that what is shown is not like it.
Irfan says to Zara that you seem like you are hiding something. Zara thinks I can’t tell him before Kabeer. Irfan says Shehbaz have made Kabeer believe to only follow religion, but you have to make him believe that the world is important too. Salma says let me tell you exactly what to do, she tells her some idea.
Zara comes to the Islamic Shrine and says I always prayed for others, but give me strength to follow the path I am going to follow. She sees the Doctor of Islam that once said she is going to lose someone soon, a long time ago. The Doctor of Islam sight and stops her and says did you decide to walk on thorns? they will taunt you for being a bad daughter-in-law, they will curse you, hurt/cause you so much pain, but then, you will emerge as victorious, and will you be able to do that? Zara smiles.
Everyone is having breakfast. Zeenat says Zara didn’t make anything, she might not be happy at the fact that we are not fighting. Zara comes there in torn clothes and goes to take food. Ayesha asks what is this? Zara says my husband doesn’t earn, so I do not have the right to wear good clothes, I don’t have the rights to eat good.
Kabeer asks if she’s in her right senses at all? Zara says right, you can’t even give me these clothes. Kabeer throws the plate away in anger. Zara says you want to tear these clothes too? Kabir says leave otherwise! Zara says otherwise what? What will you do?
Zeenat says you want to say he’s a beggar? Zara says even beggars earn some money. Shehbaz says enough! We are only bearing your taunts because you are a daughter-in-law of this house, so no one is a beggar here!
Zara recalls Shehbaz trick. Zara brings Quran and shows it for him to understand.
Ayesha comes there and asks where is Zara? Zara says I am always Zara, who will follow her rules and the right path. Ayesha says my Zara never insulted people, but today, you insulted your husband in front of his family, why?
