Amma ji is sure that Sagar would come back defeated. They ask her not to form assumptions. She asks him how he can say so? Niru says that they will have to explain themselves, that it’s too late, and due to Sagar’s fault, he will have to bear the pain and torment. Amma ji asks him not to say bitter words. Niru says that everyone has to pay for their mistakes, like him. Madhvi gets tensed. Amma ji complies. She says that she’s a fool not to think good stuff, as they have always seen how much Gangaa loves him, and can do anything, and now with Krishna in the picture, things will get better. She compliments Krishna’s beauty. She then says that had Sagar accepted this earlier, then they wouldn’t have had to bring someone else from outside. Juhi hears this and get tensed. Madhvi is shocked. Niru asks her not to talk like this, as Amma ji says that she isn’t attached to Juhi. Amma ji starts glaoting about Krishna, while Juhi hears tensedly and distraught. Madhvi and Niru notice her sad and go to her to cheer her up, but juhi leaves hastily from there.
In their room, Pulkit and Supriya decide how good it would be if Gangaa and Sagar live with them, along with Krishna. He is doubtful whether Gangaa will agree. She says that she will get Gangaa herself if she refuses. Juhi comes in crying. They rush to attend to her, and ask her what’s the reason? Juhi asks why have they brought her here, as Amma ji doesn’t like her, and she would be thrown out, if Krishna comes. They are apalled to hear this.
In her room, Zoya is furious that things aren’t working out and wonders what she will do now? Sonu asks her not to worry as things would have sorted out if they had to. She is boggled. He says that the truth maybe out, but their ego and arrogance will stand in the way, of their united relation. She says that it’s not just about Sagar and Gangaa, as they like to give each other pain, but due to Krishna, things can change. She is furious.
Sagar advances towards opening the door, hearing Krishna cry, but Gangaa continues to push him away, asking him to go. He tries to make her understand to stop her egoistic resolve, and think about Krishna and her parenting. He apologises and begs for forgiveness, but she continues to rant about her ego and torment, and her self respect. She reminds him of the indifference that he put her through at different phases of her life, when Krishna needed the father the most and continues asking where was he in all the formative, and now suddenly, it makes a difference! He holds her and pins her against the wall. He begs for a chance to talk, and says that she is right, and he wasn’t where and when he should have been there for Krishna, as a father, and she can’t underrstand the pain that he’s undergoing right now, realising that. He cups her face, and says that Krishna is his daughter and he too has the right, and accepts that he made a mistake, but begs for a chance to relieve her of all the pain, that she went through alone and tormented because he left her. He says that he will balance it all out, and never give her a chance to complain again. She says that this isn’t an account to be settled! He asks if only she suffered and says that he too has a complaint, that when he forgot everything, she should have nudged him and made him remember. He says that he knows he didn’t trust her, but it’s true that she didn’t revive the faith in him too. He clutches at her tightly, and she asks him to let go! He tries to hug her, but she shirks him away. He asks if she thinks he is dying to be with her and if he came for her, then he is mistaken as he has come for Krishna. He says that he is habituated to stay without her, and he will take Krishna today and she can’t stop him! She remembers Zoya’s alarms and threats that prove to be right.
He rushes and opens the door, and goes out to hug Krishna. Gangaa is distraught. She rushes into his arms. Kashish stands tensedly. Krishna asks him if he is her father? He eyes her tensedly, and then caressing her face, he doesn’t respond, and extends his hand and asks her to come along, to her house. Krishna holds Sagar’s hand, eyeing Gangaa tensedly. Kashish and Gangaa watch shockingly, as they begin to leave. She is about to leave, when Gangaa asks her to stop and Gangaa asks her upfront, that she can’t have everything in the world, and today, she has to choose between her and Sagar. She tells Krishna that if she leaves today with him, then she will lose her forever! All are shocked. She asks her to think clearly, and decide who she needs, Sagar or her Mother. Krishna is in a dilemma, as she clutches at Sagar’s hands, and looks at both of them. Kashish watches tensedly.
Hearing Gangaa’s ultimatum, Krishna let go of Sagar’s hand, and retreats back to catch Gangaa, while he is stunned and taken aback. Kashish stands tensedly. Krishna apologises to him and says that she can’t leave Gangaa, as he always caused her pain, but she can’t see Gangaa like this. He gets emotional, and says that she’s just like him, as he too was in a similar situation and he chose her Mother then, and hence, he can’t even be angry at her, but promises that he will continue trying, and never make them cry ever again. All watch him apalled. He leaves.
Krishna gets emotional and asks Gangaa if she said anything wrong or if she is mad at her? Gangaa hugs and kisses her. Kashish watches tensedly.
Madhavi gets tea for him, while Niru is busy working on the nightlamp on his Office desk. She finds him struggling, and keeping the tea, she goes to help him fix it up. He eyes her emotionally, as she does it. She asks him to manage with this for now, and then buy a new one. He stands tensedly. She serves him tea. He thanks her and comments that he wishes relations would be mended like that. She says that relations aren’t made on managing and compromise and things once broken, aren’t ever the same again. They eye each other tensedly.
A disappointed Sagar returns back and goes to Amma ji, who hurriedly asks what did Gangaa say? He collapses in her arms and narrates what happened, totally berserk and distraught. She assures him that soon, everything will be alright. He says that he feels defeated as a lover and as a father. He goes into guilt and self victimisation mode for the torments that he put Gangaa and Krishna through. She asks him not to say so, as she’s there with him and she won’t let him be defeated. He starts blaming himself and curses himself. She asks him not to, as he didn’t do anything. He cluches her and cries inconsolably. He then gets up and asks for Niru and leaves hurriedly, while she’s alarmed for him.
He goes to Niru and Madhvi while they anxiously ask what’s the matter and what did she say? He instead apologises and says that he has pained him enough and is extremely sorry for having been selfish, not aware of the consequences of his irrational acts. He says that he distanced Madhvi from him for 7 years and he had to stay like that, due to him. He says that he wouldn’t have realised it today, had he not been at the receiving end of what he put him through, as his wife refused to be with him, and justifies that she did right, as he’s very bad. He is overwhelmed with apologies, saying that sorry isn’t enough.
Amma ji comes and stands beside Madhvi, while he says that sorry just won’t suffice and wonders what to do? Niru asks him to get ahead and hug his father, as he doesn’t need anything else. They are all overwhelmed, as he says that he has no other complaints from him. Sagar complies and hugs him tightly, as tears stream down their cheeks. Madhvi says that they were waiting for this, for a long time, and it feels like her house’s happiness are returning. Amma ji says that this is the beginning, but one link is still missing that needs to be tied together. She leaves. Madhvi eyes them emotionally.
While Gangaa, Kashish and Krishna are working on their own work, Gangaa gets tensed as she eyes Krishna studying. She hears the radio suggesting some party song and happily decides that the house has been distressed enough and now, she needs to take matters in her own hands. She starts smiling. She turns on the radio and strats dancing to the tunes of Kaala Chashma. They are boggled as to what got into her, while she gets them all to start dancing, as Krishna is reluctant at first, but seeing Gangaa and Kashish dance freely, she is tempted to join in too. Gangaa welcomes her too and the trio dances freely yet again, ending in a bear hug. Gangaa says that she has decided that they will enjoy together, eat out, after having finished the homework. Krishna complies and rushes to get the homework done. Kashish comments as to how they have been happy after such a long time. Gangaa hopes that everything gets okay soon. She goes to the Kitchen to make Banana shake for Krishna, when the doorbell rings. She asks Kashish to find out who is there.
Amma ji comes and says that she may hide and not face the truth, but that doesn’t hide it from others. Gangaa is boggled. Amma ji says that the truth has now reached Krishna too, and she can’t save the truth from being out now. She asks how she can separate Sagar from his daughter and asks why didn’t she forgive Sagar, after such apologises? Gangaa asks about her diabolical standards, and asks if she would have done that, had sagar and Krishna’s situation been replaced.
Gangaa in her distressed state, tells Amma ji, when she comes to her, in front of Kashish that agreed, she might have forgiven Sagar, but she shouldn’t think, that under any circumstances, would she ever allow herself or Krishna back into Sagar’s life. She says that his will not get away all the time. Amma ji says that this is not her but her ego speaking, and asks how can she be so selfish that she forgets Krishna’s welfare? Amma ji says that every child needs the name of a father, while Gangaa agitatedly works around the Kitchen. Amma ji continues that Krishna has the Chaturvedi blood in her veins, that she will give her a normal life. Gangaa says that she gives her everything that she can and Krishna is happy. Amma ji reminds her of the Chaturvedi blood in Krishna’s veins and she will take Sagar’s daughter from her and that too, soon! Gangaa is apalled. Amma ji asks her to continue hiding from the truth till then! Kashish and Gangaa eye her tensedly, as she storms out.
Sagar is emotional seeing his past pics with Gangaa when Niru and Madhvi come to cheer him up. Niru asks if he would like to play carrom as he used to? Sagar smiles and complies saying that he always lost. They turn to Madhvi to decide. She asks them to play and find out. The game is set. Happy family time ensues, as father-son duo starts playing, while Madhvi happily watches. He says that he doesn’t even remember when they sat like this last. Madhvi instantly reminds that it was a month before they left. Niru is shocked and tensed that she still remembers. All get nostalgic. Sagar says that it feels good to be with people, who you love and who love you. Niru comments that sometimes, proximity doesnt ensure intimacy and Sagar says that sometimes, separation doesn’t really make them forget, as the memories continue to haunt. He walks away again lost in his sadness. They get to him. He asks if they think that Gangaa would ever return back to him? Niru says that its immaterial as to what they feel, and all depends on him. He is told that a child, when he/she makes mistakes, continues to apologise, till the teacher or family forgives him or her, and he has to do the same with Gangaa, and gain her trust and her love back.
Niru tells Sagar that he has to pull out all memories and instances that pain Gangaa and reminds him that this path of regret and guilt abstinence is a long way ahead and difficult too. Sagar eyes tensedly. Niru asks him to have patience.
As Gangaa, Krishna and Kashish are excited to get out, all dressed up and ready to go, Gangaa is still lost in what Amma ji said. They are about to leave, when an unusually bright and perky Zoya rushes in, with food saying that it’s been a long time she paid a surprise and how she will have a sleepover with them, along with dinner. She finds them tensed and non responsive, and asks what’s the matter and if they didn’t like her coming here? Krishna informs her about the plan. Zoya apologises for not informing them and asks them not to cancel the plan for her sake as she can come some other time, but Gangaa insists that she stays back. Krishna wishes to go out, but they all get her to agree to stay back, as it’s good food. Krishna eyes Gangaa tensedly and resignedly gets to playing video games, while cursing Zoya for the change of plans. The ladies get to laying the dinner.
Zoya hesitantly brings up the topic of Amma ji coming here as she overheard when Madhvi was speaking to Sagar. Gangaa refuses to talk. Zoya insists and tries to take info out of her. She says that she understands everything, as they won’t leave her so easily. Kashish hears tensedly. She starts exaggerating and talks about Amma ji not really liking the adoption of Juhi and actually wanting Krishna to come back. Gangaa hears tensedly.
At the dining table, Zoya tells Gangaa and her family that she has to do something, and fast, as they are powerful people and will go to any lengths to get what they want! Gangaa asks Zoya what should she do, as she said what she had to? She tells Gangaa that she has an idea, that she should take Krishna and Kashish and leave Banaras to a far away place to stop being bothered by the Chaturvedi family. Gangaa is shocked. Krishna is taken aback. Gangaa doesn’t realise how it will materialise with their current lives. Zoya talks to Gangaa about selling the house, and the cash that she gets will be enough to settle and start a new life, as they both should get job easily, and Krishna will get admitted in a new school today. Gangaa doesn’t realise what and how to react, as she talks about how attached she is to the house, and this city too. Zoya says that she realises her inhibitions, but the truth is, she doesn’t want to return to that place, as there isn’t any place left for Sagar in her life, then why would she want to go? Gangaa doesn’t respond. Kashish notices this. Zoya says that even Krishna doesn’t need him, and beforelong she loses Krishna, she will have to decide, and asks what would happen if they take away Krishna, as she is her lifeline? Gangaa gets extremely upset at that.
