Meanwhile, Gangaa is dressing in her room, when she gets an insistent knock on the door, and a girl’s voice, asking her to hurriedly come down, and open up the door! Gangaa asks her to wait, but the girl outside gets impatient. She continues to knock and holler for the door to be opened.
As Gangaa opens the door, Sagar, draped in Saree hurriedly gets in, and then eyes her teasingly, while she shyly says that they have been asked not to be alone. She asks him to go, as if anyone sees them together, they would be scolded, but he unabashed, continues to progress towards her, while she retreats reflexively, as he has no concerns of being seen or caught. He grabs her, and then pins her against the wall, while she is shy and nervous.
Supriya comes in and they both compose themselves. She is amused, and asks what happened? Sagar asks Gangaa not to say anything, but Gangaa blurts that she asked him to stop, but he didnt. He vehemently protests, but Supriya turns his ears, and wrenches them, asking him not to try to oversmart. He asks her to believe him, and not Gangaa. Supriya says that she would take him to Amma ji, and he starts apologiisng profusely. Supriya says that she has a condition. He asks what? She asks Gangaa to tell her what to do, as this is a golden oppurtunity. Supriya tells Sagar that he would have to be Gangaa’s slave always and listen to everything she says. He eyes her romantically, and then kneels in front of her, and accepts it, while Gangaa is overwhelmed. Supriya is amused. He says that he would be her slave for eternity, and do and say whatever she asks him to, and shall forever be hers. Supriya blesses them both.
Just then, Prabha comes that way, and finds them like this. He gets up instantly. She asks them what are they doing here as they are being called down? They hurriedly rush down.
Downstairs, all are busy with the dance and merriment, enrolled in the spirit of festivity, Prabha manages to arrange for a long wire from the electrician. Madhvi comes to her and asks Prabha to arrange for two buckets of water, as per the ritual, as Gangaa and Sagar would have to bathe after the haldi ceremony, after mother has sprinkled water on them. Prabha complies. She eyes Gangaa being brought down, and they all join the festivities. Prabha thinks that even destiny sides with her, and handed her the perfect means, to ensure Gangaa and Sagar’s death.
The haldi ceremony starts, as Gangaa and Sagar are made to sit together. Amma ji starts with the ritual and then others follow. They all bless the happy couple. Prabha too comes and completes the rituals. Madhvi reminds her of the waters. She goes there and sends Maharaj away to attend to the kitchen. While no one is watching, Prabha stealthily throws a live wire in the water area.
Rudra and ragini too perform the ritual, while Prabha thinks they can be happy all they want, but this would be their last bath as the minute, Sagar puts his hand in the water, he would be electrocuted, and that shall mark the end of Sagar and Gangaa’s love story!
After the haldi ceremony is done, they are asked to wash it down, with a pious bath. Amma ji instructs the bride’s mother to wash the groom’s face and vice versa. Seeing that there is no one from the bride’s side, Amma ji asks Sudha to do the honours as her mother. she is more than happy to comply. They happily comply. Gangaa and Sagar with the rest of the family, progress towards the water area. Madhvi asks for Sagar’s help to arrange for water, She asks Sagar to get the mug of water oblivious to the live circuit, he progresses towards the water area. Sagar is about to put his hand inside the water pool.
Rudra is tensed and he’s about to sense something. Ragini points out at the dancing lights to Rudra, which are actually electricity sparks.
Meanwhile, before Sagar could pick it up, the lights go off, and Prabha is disappointed that the lights went off at a crucial time. Prabha is disgusted. Rudra comes up just then, and tells that they don’t need to investigate as he switcehd off the main fuse, and then shows them the live wire, that could have electrocuted sagar. They’re all shocked and aghast.
Madhvi is concerned for Sagar. She reprimands Maharaj for the same thing. Prabha is very scared that her truth might be out, but she’s thankfully relived when it isn’t. Sagar’s father thank Rudra for having saved Sagar and then asks them to get back to the rituals. Madhvi too is highly thankful. Amma ji blesses him too. Gangaa and Sagar eye each other tensedly.
Later in the night, Prabha again points to the rest of the relatives, that the danger has been averted, but she keeps thinking, that this might be due to Gangaa, wo is a nice girl, but with ominously bad luck, as she lost her husband, and now these omens? The ladies say that they too thought about it, but didn’t say anything to Amma ji, as her sanity has gone out of the window. Gangaa hears this from a distance and She’s tensed and distressed. Prabha finds her there, and pretends not to see and says that due to the Lord and Rudra’s help, Sagar was saved, and God knows if destiny should be toyed with like this? They gossip that it isn’t needed that a Widow be remarried. Gangaa however is set to thinking for Sagar’s safety. Prabha leaves seeing that her mission is accomplished. She pretends to see Gangaa, and asks when she came? Gangaa said she just did. Prabha asks Gangaa to get some milk for the guests. She resignedly leaves. Prabha thinks that she wil keep trying and won’t accept defeat till her work is done!
Later, in her room, Gangaa is tensed remembering Prabha and the others’ words. Sagar comes and stands by her side, while she is in tears. he asks her what’s the matter, finding her tensed, and asks her what’s it? She says that she can’t see him in pain and trouble. He asks if she is bothered about the earlier incident, and reminds her that her vermillion has always saved him, and now, their destinies are intertwined and they will protect each other, as their dreams shall materialise. She however, is scared of just that. He shushes her down, and takes her, while she is boggled, where is he taking her. He holds her hands, and takes her to the house that they had made together, when they were kids, and had a fight as to who would cook the food. They reminiesce about that childhood memory, and get emotional as they eye every detail of it, saying that it’s exactly as they had left it. He asks if she realises what this means, and says that this is a witness to their love, and that no troubles can affect their love which can’t weaken ever, and not just that, their fights shall be immortal too. She smiles and cheers up. He points out that there is a beautiful dream in this house, and that’s to stay together always, and that shall be fulfilled tomorrow. He says that he wants, when they start afresh tomorrow, it shouldn’t be with tears. He then leaves, and comes back with water bottle, which is empty, and asks her to voice out all of her concerns and troubles, inside the bottle. She is boggled and complies, when he insists. He closes the bottle, and then throws it away, saying that her pains and sadness is gone and they will never come back. She hugs him overwhelmingly, and he says that tomorrow, she should start it afresh, with all happiness and cheers, forgetting the past. He makes her extends her hands, and invites all happiness right into their lives.
Meanwhile, Prabha talks to someone, on the phone, saying that she would come to collect the material tomorrow and asks if the person should be killed sure shot? On confirmation, She says that she would come tomorrow, at 2:30 P.M.
Sudha reminisces how childishly innocent Gangaa was, when she was becoming a child bride. She’s emotionally overwhelmed, as she sees the older Gangaa dressed as a bride, in the Ashram. She asks Gangaa if she is sad that she brought her here to dress up? Gangaa denies it, saying that this is her home. Vasudha blesses her to always be happy and that may no troubles ever loom over them. They both hug each other.
Sagar has a hard time warding off the Ladies, that try to put a black teeka (Vaccination) on him, as a part of the ritual. They insist, while he is vehemently against it. Amma ji comes to his rescue and takes him away, saying that she would help him get ready. He is relieved. Madhvi asks supriya to find the chance to do it sometime. She complies.
While going out, Madhvi almost collides into Prabha who gives the excuse that she had gone to collect paan leaves, for the next ritual. Madhvi smiles. Prabha’s hand slips and a packet falls on the ground. Madhvi eyes it boggled, and asks what’s that? She says that it’s paan masala, and says that she would keep it in the kitchen. Madhvi complies and leaves. Prabha rushes to the kitchen.
In the kitchen, She fumes that her Son is rotting in jail, and they are celebrating, and if they aren’t happy, then she wouldn’t allow sagar and his family to be happy too. She thinks about the love stories that have gone unfinished. Prabha mutters that Sagar and Gangaa will never unite, and that their love shall be immortal. She prepares the Paan, and then sprays poison into Sagar and Gangaa’s paan, ensuring their death.
Gangaa happily gets ready and eyes her jewellery, remembering her excitement when she was a bride in childhood. One widow comes and gives Gangaa the Poison laced paan, saying that it’s from her groom. After they’ve left, she remembers Sagar buying her paan in childhood, while she eyes it, and they later both ate it, while she has trouble with them eating it together. They both eye each other’s funny faces.
Meanwhile, Supriya too gives the paan to Sagar, saying that it’s from Gangaa, who himself is lost in the same memory. They both eye it overwhelmingly. Prabha watches from a distance, in anticipation, as to the moment when Sagar takes it.
Sagar and Gangaa oblivously consume the paan, while Prabha watches Sagar amusedly from a distance. Prabha thinks that they have no idea that their paan is poisoned, and they would die before they can marry, and no one will doubt her at all, and people would say that Sagar had to pay the price of being married to a widow.
Supriya watches Sagar amusedly, as he is getting ready, while others giggle. The ladies leave, while Sagar finds Gangaa as a child widow, coming up to him, and guffawing loudly.
Gangaa is ready, when Sudha comes and excitedly tells her that it’s time for her to leave, as the Palanquin is ready. She happily complies, as she remembers Gangaa’s plight when she became a widow. She gets emotional and says that this is the first time, this is happening, as all the torturous woman has stepped in, but for the first time, a Palanquin is leaving the ashram, and that too is Gangaa. She is overwhelmed, and blessing her to be happy, she hugs her, and takes her out. Gangaa makes her journey to the gate with the widows, emotional and reminisces her widow days spent here.
Gangaa then sees Sagar in his childhood days, as they remember their entire journey of romance since childhood. She finally sits in the Palanquin as it takes off, while Sagar has Gangaa’s hand held all the while.
Then they drive off. She starts getting dizzy. Meanwhile, the young Gangaa too takes Sagar’s hand, and leads him out into the balcony, and points towards their house, which contains innumerable memories of theirs, since childhood. She then points out that Gangaa’s Palanquin has arrived, Supriya and others rush out, asking him to be ready when the Priest calls him down. He silently complies.
Gangaa steps out of the Palanquin, looking pretty as a picture, dressed as a bride. A widow asks why she is sweating so much? She says that it’s all okay, and she is fine. Prabha comments to Amma ji about her beauty. Sagar’s family stands happily, eager to welcome her in. Suddenly, she sways and they all rush to her. Gangaa says that she is fine, merely some tension and groggy feeling. The widow says that its merely pre wedding jitters and nervousness. Madhvi asks Maharaj to get Gangaa, water. They do the tilak and then welcome her in.
The Inside, guests says that the bride seems ill. The Priest beckons for Sagar, and he steps down with the guys. Gangaa looks up to see him, as they both have eyes only for each other. They both are made to stand together. He compliments her. She blushes. He too gets groggy. They both take their position at the aisle. The Priest asks for the jaimala to start. They all watch as the ritual starts amidst chants. Gangaa tries to do, but She’s pulled back by Supriya.
Sagar helps Gangaa do it, and then does so himself. Both smile at each other. They are then made to sit down, while Prabha is boggled. And when is time for the tying of the knot, a question as to who would do it, Amma ji asks one of the widows to do it, who is overwhelmed to do it. After the tying of the end of their saree together, the riatuls continue, while Gangaa starts getting dizzy yet again. Sagar asks if she is fine? She agrees.
It’s time for kanyadaan (giving away the bride). The Priest says that if there isn’t any father, then anyone fatherly can do so. Sagar and Madhvi turn to Niranjan, but he stoically refuses. Madhvi asks him, and he says that he’s the father of the groom, and they should instead asks Maharaj to do so. He is highly overwhelmed at this honour. Gangaa too enphatically asks him. He then complies and the ritual is completed.
Gangaa gets dizzy headed yet again, as the Priest asks them to start the rounds. He then helps her get up, and the rounds start, while Prabha thinks that very soon, the poison would start working on them, and she would see how this marriage culminates. She starts getting nauseous, as the rounds continue, and she feels groggy. Next it’s the bride’s turn to come ahead, for the remaining rituals. Gangaa complies groggily, and she has difficulty walking ahead. Finally, she falls on the ground, unconscious. they are all shocked and aghast, while Prabha smiles evilly. They all rush to her care, attending to her.
They all rush to Gangaa, as she collapses on the floor, while taking the pious circles around the fire. Sagar is incredibly tensed for her. Prabha smirks evilly, but then she is forced to think as to why is it only affecting Gangaa and not him. They rush Gangaa to the room, and call for the doctor. The Doctor comes and goes to check on Gangaa, while all wait outside in anticipation, particularly sagar who paces around nervously.
Meanwhile, Maharaj remembers his goof up with the paan, when he had accidentally spilled water on the paans that were laced with poison by Prabha earlier. To avoid being scolded for his mistake, he had replaced the paans, with noraml ones, obliviously averting the danger that Prabha had put Gangaa and Sagar in.
Later, Prabha comes to the kitchen, while Maharaj is busy pretending to be working in the kitchen. She asks him about the paan? He finally blurts it out what has really happened. Prabha is disappointed.
Meanwhile, all wait for the Doctor to come out. And when he does, Sagar and his family anxiously ask if everything is okay? The Doctor informs them that Gangaa is fine, and so is the child. They are boggled as the Doctor proclaims that Gangaa is pregnant. They are all shocked, including sagar who is unable to understand what’s going on. They are all baffled. After the Doctor has left, Sagar goes in, while the widow leaves, as Gangaa sits on the bed, in anticipation and nervousness, shy as a bride and would be mother, oblivious to Sagar’s dilemma. She comes and hugs him, while he is too disgusted and frustrated, as she goes on a rant as to how happy she is, to start this new phase in their lives, with their own child. He asks her to please say that it isn’t true? She is taken aback, and says that this must be, as the Doctor himself said so. He is boggled and baffled. She asks what’s the matter. He says that when nothing happened between them, then how did this happen? She’s boggled, and tries to remind him about the night that they consummated their love. but He has no recollection of that memory whatsoever. She is apalled, and then tries to find out ways to make him remember, but he has no memory, as the last thing he remembers is dozing off in unconscious state. She asks how can he even forget those beautiful moments they have of the other night? He too says that if it had happened, then it’s impossible for him to forget such memory, but the truth is that, there aren’t any memories like that! She reminds him of the party, but he doesn’t remember what happened after that. He continues to present his dilemma to her, while she doesn’t know how to react as he continues to second guess, unable to believe her, She asks what is he trying to say, that she is pregnant, and if he didn’t come to her, then is she with anyone else? He says that he isn’t suggesting it, and says that if anything happened as she said, then why doesn’t he remember, and if anything didnt, then how is this happening? H is furious and asks how is this possible, as they were getting married, and everything was perfect, and now this problem arose. She asks if he feels this is all a problem? She asks him if he is doubting that this isn’t his child? He asks her to stop asking questions. She continues to ask him, if he has any doubts about her and the child? He finally blurts it out that he does have doubt! She is shocked and aghast. She says that she liked it. He asks her to try and understand as he doesn’t remember anything, and begs her to try and make him remember and understand everything. She walks out, in a huff, while he screams at her to listen to him, but in vain.
