Jalal comes to Salim, Jalal says now think that Sword has more rhythm than ghungroos (Musical Anklets), I am happy that you didn’t look at the ghungroos, now listen, you have to focus on Sword in life, Salim agrees, Jalal leaves.
Hamida says to Jodha that your husband and my Son is unique, he finds weird ways to make others understand things. Jodha smiles.
All the Children are learning Urdu, the Priest are teaching them, the class ends. One child says that Jalal showed marvelous act, Haidar Adham (Adham’s Son) says I can do that too.
Salim recalls how Jodha ask him to give back the ghungroos to the owner. Salim goes to a Soldier and says I want to go out of the Palace, the Soldier says I can’t let you, as Jalal hasn’t permitted us to.
Murad says to Salim that who can stop you, you are the heir, tell me where you want to go? Salim shows him ghungroos and says I want to return it to its owner, as Mother asked me to do so. One Child says these soldiers won’t let us go, I think we should give it to someone, he will give to it to the owner, Salim says I don’t know the name of the girl that is the owner, Haidar says if we can’t go openly, then we will go sneakily, Salim says no, if Jalal gets to know of it, then he will become angry! Murad says you are going for the right thing, nobody would know that you have gone out, Salim says I can’t go out alone, Haidar says Qutub and Daniyal will go with you, Qutub says me? NO, as Jalal won’t like it, Haidar says nothing will happen. Salim ask how will I go out?
Haidar says I have one idea. He goes to the Workers busy with the construction of the Palace, he sees children with them, he calls the children and says Salim has called you all to gift you, all the Children get glad and goes with Haidar.
Haidar has tied all the children and has taken their common clothes, Salim wears the common cloth, so as to not get noticed by the Soldiers, Salim ask what if I get caught? Murad says nobody would recognize you, he puts mud on Salim’s face, Haidar says don’t worry, we will handle here, Salim goes with Qutub and Daniyal from there.
Haidar and Murad are happy that now, Jalal will get angry at Salim! Adham Haidar says Salim will get four (4) slaps, one from Jodha, one from Jalal, one from Ruqaiya and one again from Jodha! They laugh.
Salim goes out of the Palace with working labourers, he is afraid, but has passed the gate of the Palace.
Jodha comes to Jalal and says Salim is missing, Jalal says he must be around, Jodha says no, he’s not in the Palace, Jalal says where can he go? He says I will call the Soldiers.
Jalal is with Rahim, Rahim calls Murad and Haidar Adham, Jalal ask them did you see Salim? Haidar says no, we didn’t see him for a while, Jalal says okay and leaves.
Jalal asks the Soldiers at the gate, the Soldier says no, Salim didn’t pass the gate of the Palace, Jalal says where can he go? I have to find everywhere!
Salim is in the market with Qutub and Daniyal, Salim says I know Jodha must be tensed in te Palace for me, but she has asked me to return it, so we will return it.
Jalal is with Maan and Rahim, Jalal ask Maan to find them as soon as possible!
In the market, Qutub says I am tired, Salim says it’s little away, he comes to the place where he saw Anarkali, he says to Qutub and Daniyal that I will come back after returning it, he goes in.
Salima says to Hamida that where could the Children go? Hamida says have faith.
Jodha prays to Kahna and says protect my child, please make him return to me. Ruqaiya comes there and says don’t worry, he must be fine and Jalal has gone to find him.
Salim comes to the dancing Centre and ask for a girl, the man says that the girls have gone, as their class is over. Salim comes out and says she has gone, Qutub stops one man and says do you know the girl who comes here to dance? The man scolds them and says you are so small and stalking girls?? Daniyal says shut up, don’t you know the manners to talk to a Prince?? The man says Prince? Did you see your face? You seem like beggars! He goes from there.
Salim along with Daniyal and Qutub are searching the market for the girl. Salim finally finds Anarkali buying bananas, he goes to talk to her. Salim comes to Anarkali and shows her her ghungroos, Anarkali says you here? Salim says I have come to return it, Anarkali says I don’t take things back, Salim says my Mother has asked me to do so, I have come here with much difficulty, and ghungroos are not of my use, so take it, Anarkali says I don’t need it anymore, as they are old, It’s good you took it, my mother has bought me a new one, now you keep it!
Salim says you don’t have manners of talking, I am Jalal’s son, she says you are his Son, but not the King, when you become the King, only then should you come back, I will give you respect only then, Salim puts the ghungroos in her hands and says do whatever you want, I don’t want to talk to you!
Salim comes to Qutub and Daniyal, Qutub says she was scolding you? Salim says she is a mad girl, let’s go from here, they leave.
Salim and the other two comes outside the Palace, they hide behind the bushes and sees Soldiers going in search of them.
In the Palace, Jalal says the Children have gone out of the Palace, I will go myself to find them!
Outside, Qutub says I am hungry, Salim says I am worried that what will father do? Jalal comes outside the Palace and finds the three Children standing there, Jalal angrily looks at Salim, Salim starts crying.
Jalal brings Salim into his room, Jalal sits with him, he is angry and says do you have any idea what you have done?? You are the heir, you will be King, you don’t know how many enemies I have, if they got to know that you are out of the Palace, then anything could have happened to you. Salim says I went to return the ghungroos (Musical Anklets), Jalal says you won’t go out from now on without telling anyone!
Jodha comes there and says he doesn’t understand, how did he go out of the Palace without informing anyone? Jalal says I have talked to him, Jodha says it’s because of you Jalal, your love has spoilt him, he should get punishment! Jalal says he did a mistake, I have forgiven him, he will not do so from now on. Jodha says no, he would get his punishment, what if anything had happen to him?? Jalal says who can even look at the King’s child? Jodha says there are many enemies of yours, Jalal says what kind of father am I who would not protect his child? Jodha says you have made him stubborn, Jalal says I was just making him understand, ask him, they see Salim who has slept listening to their fight, Jalal and Jodha caresses his face.
Jalal says maybe he took after you, but he has this habit of going out of the Palace in disguise, Jodha says it’s good that nothing happened, I will give him punishment, Jalal says you are caressing him and wants to give him punishment too? Jodha says mothers are like that, she is in tears, Jalal lovingly looks at Jodha.
Jalal scolds his soldiers and says that the Children ran out of the Palace and you people didn’t know about it? If the children can go out, then the enemies can come in too, this will not be tolerated, you all will be punished!! All the soldiers are punished that they will not safeguard the gate and will work in other places! Jalal gives security responsibility to Rajvanshi soldiers and says I am giving you this duty, as you people are loyal.
Jalal calls Murad and Haidar Adham, he scolds Haidar that you are the elder of all and you allowed other Children to go out? I am forgiving you as you are Maham’s grandson and this is the last time I am forgiving you, next time, you will be punished severely! Murad and Haidar leaves.
Jalal says to Rahim that Salim will try to go out again, but you have to protect him. Maan comes and says that one state is creating problems, Jalal says we will see to it.
Hamida comes to Jodha and ask her to not be angry at Salim now, Jodha says he is a child and he should be taught what is right.
Salim comes there and greets both, Jodha doesn’t respond to him and says to Hamida that tell him I am not talking to him, Hamida says to Salim that Jodha is miffed with you, Salim says when father forgave me, then why is mother angry with me? Jodha says it’s punishment of your mistake that I won’t talk to you! Salim says I have accepted my mistake, then she should forgive me, Jodha says mistakes doesn’t become void by just accepting it, he has to be punished! Hamida is doing commentary of both sides, as Salim talks to Hamida, and Jodha also talks to her and ask her to pass the message to the other side.
After sometime, Hamida says I am tired of this commentary, I am going, you both can talk directly! Salim says I love you the most Grandma, Hamida hugs him and says to Salim that your Mother is too much miffed, so think of some idea, she goes from there.
Voiceover says that Bairam Khan’s child Rahim, whom Jalal used call Khan-e-Khana has become Minister and he is called Abdul-Rahim Khan-e-khana, he is a good Warrior and an important part of the Court and he’s just 20 years old.
Rahim comes in Court and sit, then comes Maan.
Voiceover says that Maan has also become an important part of the Court and Jalal has given him a label of Raja Sahib, he is Jalal’s companion today.
Next is Todar Mal, he is also labeled as Raja (King), he is Jalal’s favourite
Then comes Tansen Raam Tanu, he is also part of Jalal’s court because of his awesome Voice which touched Jalal’s heart.
Next comes in Court, Mahesh Das, Jalal was impressed by his wicked talks and gave him label of Birbal, some people are jealous of his place too.
Next is Priest Mubarak and his two Sons Fazal and Faizi.
Next comes Murad O Piazza.
Next comes Fakir, they all are part of Jalal’s Court and are said to be Nine Companions of Jalal.
Jalal comes to Court, all greets him, Jalal says you all must have gotten the news about the State wanting war against me, Jalal says I have called you all here to ask for suggestion, Jalal says they want war, is there any other way out? Todar shows him a map and tells him some strategy and says there is only one way, and that is WAR, Jalal ask any other way? All are silent, Jalal says okay.
Birbal says I have one way, we can win this war without fighting, Jalal says all our Soldiers are trapped there, Birbal says our Soldiers are surrounded by opposite Soldier, so if we surround them from thr outer side, then they will be surrounded from inside and outside by Mughal Soldiers and they will leave the war, Jalal says great, all smiles.
Jalal says it’s amazing and now, we won’t have to do war, I am proud that you are part of this Court, he gives order to work on this strategy!
Murad says to Haidar that Jalal scolded us and didn’t say anything to Salim, Haidar says Salim is his child, he is the heir to the throne so Jalal will support only him!
Salima comes there and says don’t talk this rubbish! She says to Haidar Adham that you are elder and you involve in these things?? She takes Murad from there. Salima says to Murad that Salim is the heir and you made him run from the Palace?
Haidar says Jalal threw my father from the terrace, he is bad but I am worst than him, I will take revenge of his death at the right time!
Salim is with Ruqaiya, Salim concoct story and says Jalal was scolding me, so I became angry and said that I won’t talk to Jalal and Jodha, they both became concerned and asked me to talk to them, but I said that no, I won’t talk now! Ruqaiya says were you not afraid of Jalal? Salim says afraid and me? NO, in fact, Jalal is afraid of me!
Jalal comes there and stands behind Salim listening to his story, Salim says I made Jalal afraid by saying that I won’t talk to him, Jalal says Shekhu baba? Salim is shocked seeing Jalal there and becomes blank, Jalal ask what were you saying? Salim says I was saying that Jodha is angry with me and not talking to me, Jalal says I heard that I am afraid of you, Salim say no, I was saying that I am afraid of you, Jalal ask is jodha still angry with you? Salim nods, Jalal takes him from there, Ruqaiya looks on.
Zil Bahar scolds Anarkali that Salim came here and you insulted him?? Anarkali says he came here without informing anyone. Zil Bahar goes from there, Anarkali’s friend says you are stupid, if you had befriended the Prince Salim, then we could have seen the Palace from inside, we could have eaten food there! Anarkali says I don’t need all these, my father is a Singer and he got job in the Palace by his talent, I will go into the Palace with just my talent too, and not by buttering anyone!
Jalal says to Salim that go to Jodha and say what he has told him, Salim says you also come with me, Jalal says you are a Prince, you should not be afraid, go and say it.
Salim comes to Jodha and says hello Wife of Jalal, Jodha recalls how Jalal called her in same manner when they were disguised as gujraties, Salim says I am hungry please make Roti for me, talk to me, Jalal is seeing all this hiding, Jodha says I have understood everything, Salim is saying this, but the words are of yours, don’t hide, come in front.
Jalal comes there, Salim says I promise I didn’t tell Jodha anything, I don’t remember anything now you say, Jodha laughs and hugs Salim, Salim ask did you fogive me? Jodha kisses his forehead and says yes.
Jalal has called everyone in Court and says today, there will be Meena Bazar (market festival), Jalal says everyone can participate and I will give gift to best stall, you all have till today’s evening, Salim says can I participate in Meena Bazar too? Jalal says if you want to come there, I have no problem, but Meena Bazar is for only women, you can go with your Mother.
All the Children say that we want to come too, Jalal says okay, listening to it, I have decided that only women who have children can put up stall in Meena Bazar, all the women are happy but Ruqaiya is shocked and thinks that I have no child, so can’t I participate?? Jodha notices her face.
Jalal says to his Ministers that people related to this Palace, the one who work here and the Palace family will participate in Meena Bazar, Jalal asks Maan to look after the security, as Salim is also going in it.
Ruqaiya is puffing hookah and recalls how Jalal ordered that only women with children/mothers can participate in the Meena Bazar, Resham comes there and says you won’t be able to participate in the Bazar, Ruqaiya angrily looks at her and thinks that Jalal didn’t even think how will it affect me??
Jodha thinks that Ruqaiya must be affected by Jalal’s decision, how can he do that? Jalal comes there, Jodha says how can you order that only Mothers can participate in Bazar? Jalal says I am trying to make the Children happy, Jodha ask what about the elders? They must be hurt, all the wives doesn’t have children, I know Salim is also a child of Ruqaiya, but she must be hurt, Jalal says Oh God, I didn’t think about it!
Resham ask what will you do? Ruqaiya says what should be done? She ask Resham to fill her hookah (Shisha) and smirks. She leaves from there.
Jalal says to Jodha that I will go and talk to Ruqaiya, Jodha says I have one idea that Ruqaiya sit in stall with Salim, as she also have right on Salim.
Ruqaiya comes there and says Jodha is right, Jalal says listen to me Ruqaiya, Ruqaiya says you said that Mothers can sit in the stall with their Children, but this won’t be justice with Jodha if she doesn’t sit, as Salim is the son of the both of us, so if you agree, then we both can sit with Salim in one shop then, we will put one stall together. Jodha says this is a brilliant idea, Ruqaiya says you have to work Jodha, Jodha smiles, Ruqaiya says we have to put the best stall to make Salim win, Jodha says don’t underestimate other children.
