Sujamal is disguised in Servants dress. Shariffudden is suspicious of him. He asks if he didn’t see him here as well, since he’s also here with the Baraat (Bridegroom), and yet, he didn’t offer him a thing! The other Servant says sorry. Shariffudden says he has seen him somewhere, but can’t really place where exactly.
Jodha enters the venue with her brothers. Jalal smiles as she sits in front of him in veil. Maham Anga is suspicious of Jalal’s behavior, which changes at the sight of Jodha. They ask Jalal for his father to perform one of the rituals. He says he is dead. But Adham Khan is his elder brother, so he will do it for him. They give Adham Khan aarti plate and he does it wrongly, so the Priest teaches him how to. Maham fumes at that. Adham Khan does the aarti of Jodha. Maham Anga says if they are done, can they also do some rituals too? She ties a taveez(scared thread) and looks at Jodha, evilly and says may God protect her from bed omens. They ask Jodha to touch the things that will be given to the less privilege/Poors.
They are all in the Mandap (in house temple for the wedding) and the Priest lits the fire. Maham Anga make faces. The Priest ask for their incesters. Jodha tells hers and Jalal tells his. Maham Anga says his incesters were one in a million and he belongs to a royal family.
Shariffudden looks at Sujamal and he vanishes from there. Shariffudden goes behind him and suspects he is Sujamal.
Here, the Priest ask them to change the place as per ritual. The Priest ask for their hands.
Menewati comes and forcefully gives Jodha’s hand in Jalal’s, as Jodha is reluctant and he grips it tightly. ishq hai wo ehsas song plays… Jalal puts another hand on hers. Jodha is tensed a little. He then leaves her hand.
Adham Khan eyes Moti and the other ladies and says they are good. Maham Anga ask him to come with her. They come to an isolated place. Maham Agna gives him two tight slaps. She says one for looking at girls at the wrong place and two:
A flashback is shown. Maham Agna ask the soldiers how the killer entered the tent? The Soldier informs her that Adham Khan came to ask about the security of the place. Maham Anga understands. FB ends.
Maham Agna tells Adham Khan to kill himself, but he shouldn’t destroy her image alongside him! She leaves.
Adham Khan ask the Servant what her name, pointing to Moti is and he says Moti.
Jodha and Akbar stands for the rounds. Jodha in front, takes the rounds. Then, Jodha puts some flowers in Jalal’s hand. Bhagwan das ask him to put it in the fire. He obliges. They do the same procedure after every rounds. After the third round, Akbar comes in front and takes the rest of the rounds. The Priest then ask them to take the rounds beside each other. They take the rounds together. The Priest ask Jodha to repeat his words, looking at Jalal as she says it that “you are my fate, you are my husband and I am your wife.” Jodha repeats it shakingly, and Jalal smiles. The Priest gives Jalal the vermilion, asking him to apply it on Jodha’s head. He puts it in her head while there’s a Flashback.
FB is shown. Grandma consoles Menewati, saying Jodha will be fine. Menewati says she lost to fate. Shugani was right. FB ends.
Jodha wipes her tear and gets up, along with Jalal. Jalal ask where is his shoes? Shariffudden says who dare to do this, as earlier, when someone did that, the King had his legs cut off. Jodha is shocked. Jalal angrily ask the person to bring it, otherwise he won’t spare his feet!
Some small girls come. Jalal sits down and ask who they are? They say they stole his shoes and want gift, and until then, will they return his shoes to him. Jalal ask what they want and they say lots of dolls and toys. Jalal laughs. Maan Singh says he can’t laugh at them. Jalal says he likes their bravery and orders Shariffudden to bring all the Saamgar’s toy stalls. One girl says to Jodha that he is very nice and has good looks.
Jodha and Akbar walks together. Jodha throws rice behind her as per the ritual. Jalal keeps looking at her. Bharmal (Amer’s King/Jodha’s father) ask the Priest if the ritual is complete? He nods yes. Jodha says one thing is left, which is the soil of her land. They bring mud and Jodha puts it on her head. Jalal says he wants something as well. He says he wants him to go with him, pointing at Maan Singh, as he wanted to protect his Sister. He ask Bharmal if he can take him with them and his name will be written in golden letters. Maan Singh says he just wants to protect his Maternal Aunt (Jodha). Bharmal says his father, Bhagwan das will also go. Jalal agrees . Bharmal says he’s lucky Jalal will train him well.
Jodha hugs everyone one by one and remembers their old memories. She meets her Grandma, then Menewati (her Mother/Amer’s Queen), Sukanya (her Sister) and Moti as she cries. She comes to Bharmal and takes his blessing. Both cries. She then remembers her every memory running behind the Pigeon, her weight through gold coins, playing ludo with her brothers, and so on. She meets Bhagwan das, then Menewati turns her, as they walk toward the box. Menewati cries profusely and kisses her forehead. All her 4 brothers hold the box on their shoulders. Sujamal is also there holding from one side. Jodha is holding Menewati’s hands. Menewati is left behind as Jodha leaves and they all burst into great tears.
Voiceover – Jodha left Saamgar to Agra, but the the distance is of 3 days, so they stay at some place to spend the night there.
One minister says to Jalal that they want to celebrate his marriage. Jalal asks where Jodha is, as he has heard that her voice is very good. He asks them to bring her, as she will sing for them! Maham Anga smiles evilly.
In Mewar, Rana Udhay Singh is not giving full powers to Pratap. He says Pratap isn’t able to fight with the Mughals with full forces. One man brings Sujamal to him. They says he shook hands with the Mughals. Pratap says leave him… He will not kill him. Sujamal ask why and he says his death will not be a punishment but he will live to listen to the taunts of the people! He orders to cut the place where he was standing. He says he is responsible for whatever happened! Sujamal is distraught.
Jalal is waiting for Jodha. The Ministers whispers that the first time, she made Jalal wait and that too on their wedding night. Jalal ask if they want to say something to him? Shariffudden says Maham Anga hasn’t returned back and it’s not right that he’s waiting. Jalal says just like how deep the well is, is how much sweeter the water will be, and smiles. Maham Anga comes without Jodha. Jalal looks here and there but couldn’t see Jodha. Maham Anga says she has refused to come here. Jalal first waited, then denies it. He ask where is she? Maham Agna says in HER tent. Jalal ask what she means by her tent? Maham Agna says she wished to make her tent separately. Jalal fumes and goes out.
He comes to her tent and sees her sleeping. His angry expressions changes. Background song plays… He comes to her bed and he just couldn’t take his eyes off her. Jodha wakes up and senses he’s in her tent. She grabs the knife as Jalal comes from behind. She attacks but Jalal grips the knife and closes in on her and she leans back. Jalal says he called her to hear her melodious voice, but she didn’t come, and why is she suddenly quiet? She took vows that he is her husband and she will do everything. She says she remembers every one of the vows… She’s his wife, not a servant, and for every husband, his wife’s respect comes first, then any order follows. Jalal smiles and says he came here with his anger and she proved him the Culprit. He says he likes the fear in her just because of his presence and she should maintain it. He gets up and puts mud on his hand and says next time, you don’t need any knife because I am here to protect you but from me, there is none to save you. He leaves. Jodha looks scared.
Jalal comes out smiling broadly. Shariffudden sees blood in his hands and thinks she attacked him, but he didn’t do anything and he’s smiling, he thinks that’s so weird of him.
Menewati is sad, as she walks slowly. Grandma comes and says every girl has to go to her in-laws one day. Menewati says her room is all the same but she is not here. There is silence here. Don’t know how she is handling these Mughal there alone. Grandma says the other idol of Kahanaji has gone with her. Menewati cries for her (Jodha’s) sweet songs.
Here, Jodha is sitting in front of the idol and start singing in melodious voice, as she prays to the Lord.
On the other side Jalal is offering namaz(prayer). He listens to her voice and looks up at his bandage. He is informed of his breakfast. At breakfast, they are all sitting. Jodha comes and goes to sit. Maham Agna says she has to sit next to the King. She obliges and sits beside him. Jalal tries to take the Chicken piece but couldn’t because of the wound in his hand. One girl ask Jodha to help him and she reluctantly takes the piece and gives it to Jalal. He holds her hand and eats with her hand. Jodha doesn’t look at him. He finishes it and Jodha gives him water and washes his hands. Maham Anga smirks. She dries it with cloth and looks at him a little.
