Atgah says to Aatimad Khan that it is weird that we trust Maham Anga a lot and she brought a man here in disguise as an Eunuch, he says you and Dilawar will stay here until Maham comes, he says we need to protect you both, as if Maham gets to know about them, then it won’t be good. He thinks why did Maham allow Sujamal to come to the Palace?
Maham and Hamida are going to that secret place, Hamida remembers the path, Maham says there is a jungle there if you are tired? Hamida says no, and you are with me, so I have no fear, Maham ask her to come, and moves forward, Maham suddenly disappears from the scene, Hamida calls out for her and says where did she suddenly go? Maham sneakingly comes from behind. Hamida turns, Maham says you should stay with me, they go away from there, Hamida says yes, this is the place from where you diappeared, I want to come to your praying place, Maham claps, so a man opens the door of the secret cave, they go in.
Hamida says what place is this? Maham says I discovered it somedays ago, Maham says look around, now do have you have any doubt? Hamida says you can pray anywhere but why here? Maham says everyone has different ways of praying, they leave the place, Maham turns and smirks.
Jalal’s caravan comes to Agra Palace, Ruqaiya gets to know about it, she ask a Servant is he with Jodha or alone? She says no, he is alone, Ruqaiya smirks.
Hamida also gets to know that Jodha didn’t come with Jalal, Phuphi says have hope, Jodha will come, then ask every question from her.
At the gate of the Palace, Jalal comes, all are there to greet him, Maham says after many days you returned, she says I can’t see Jodha, is her Caravan behind? Jalal says she didn’t return, Maham says did you find her? Atgah thinks why is she saying so sweet words avout Jodha, my doubt was right, much sweetness gives rise to hatred.
Ruqaiya hugs Jalal and says I am very happy that you returned, I have many things to talk about, come with me, Jalal says I am very tired, now let me go, Ruqaiya gets sad, Jalal ask where is Hamida? Phuphi says her health is not good.
Jalal comes to Hamida, he says I promised you I will bring Jodha with me, Hamida says then why am I seeing your face alone, where is jodha, answer me? Hamida says to Jalal answer me, after coming back from so many days, you have this answer to my promise to prayers.
Menawati says to Jodha that you have only answer to every food that you don’t want to eat, you haven’t eaten enything for the past 5 days, what’s going on in your heart, tell me… Do you want to go back to Jalal in Agra, what do you want? Your ego has limit to it too, and it should not break people, I thought you are angry, but he came here, the Mughal Emperor came here, asked for forgiveness so many a times even though his mistake was not that, but you are punishing him like this.
In Agra, Hamida says you did a sin by doubting Jodha, she even drank poison for you and you didn’t take a minute to doubt her, I feel ashamed to call you a Son! She says look, an Emperor promised me and he’s standing here without fulfilling it, she says answer me!! Jalal roamed here and there for you, he even got injured, he lost a lot of blood for you, but your heart didn’t melt, if it was any other Wife, he wouldn’t have looked back at her, I never heard that a Rajvanshi man goes to his in-laws to make up with his Wife, but Jalal came here for you, it’s your good fate, I accept that Jalal did a mistake, but when someone ask for forgiveness, then we should resect that, you were waiting for him and when he came here, you treated him like this, I will not force you to go there, but as a Mother, I advise you to not raise your ego that much that your heart voice doesn’t reach out. She leaves. Jodha looks on.
Jodha is sitting, Shehnaz comes there, she starts laughing and says I am laughing at your foolishness, Jodha says you are my friend, Shehnaz says it’s my responsibility to make you realize what you’ve done, your love came all the way to get you but you denied, did the love fade away? Jodha says no, it’s even more now, Shehnaz ask then why didn’t you go with him? Jodha says I had seen the good side of Jalal, soft and good hearted, we had fights, but Jalal used to see things and then decide, but this time, he has hurt me a lot, he said bitter words without thinking, I can’t bear it again, so I just couldn’t go.
Shehnaz says sometimes, rose which gives good smell can hurt you by its price, she shows her the handkerchief of Jalal which he left there, she says maybe he left it for you, so you can get his essence from it, she leaves.
Jiji Anga comes to Atgah and ask him why is he tensed, he says I today feel like I am not capable of this job, he tells her everything about Maham Anga, he says Jalal is already worried, how can I tell him, but if I don’t, then it’s cheating to hide it from him. Jalal ask who said that to you? He looks at Maham, Maham nods NO, the man says the Chief Minister Maham Anga asked me to lie to you, Jalal is pained, the man leaves.
Jalal sits dejectedly and says I can’t believe that the one who gave me the biggest wound was my protection, my support, Jalal shouts that you knew everything, you knew he was Sujamal, you probed me to doubt my Wife, I believed in you, but look what you did???? Abul Mali gave me external wounds, but you have hurt my soul, why you did that, why you played with my feelings, why you plotted against Jodha??? Jalal says Mother loves her child and not get jealous of him, today, you proved that you are just a Servant and not my Mother, I am sad that I lost my Mother (Maham Anga), I don’t know whether you are or not, you will have everything, but your Son is lost, thank you for snatching my biggest happiness, Jalal leaves in tears.
Maham is shivering thinking of what she did, she lost her Son, she remembers her upbringing of Jalal, she blabbers that Jalal not my Son??
All the Queens are gossiping that Maham knew that Dilawar was Sujamal, all gets to know that Maham seprated Jalal and Jodha.
Salima says to Hamida that Maham is behind all this, Hamida says she knew Jalal loves Jodha even then, she did that, she says to Salima that Jalal must be worried, as he lost his Mother (Maham Anga), he listens to you, so you should go to him to share his pain and sorrows, Salima says as you wish, she goes.
Ruqaiya comes to Jalal and says I heard… Jalal says you heard right that I break my ties with Maham Anga, I will not call her Mother, from childhood, I shared my everything with her, I thought milk relations is more strong than blood relations but she cut this thread, why she did that with Jodha? Jodha came into my life and she started fearing her, why she did that? I feel like it’s a dream and it should end, I am broken and I can’t handle myself.
