Everyone is busy with Baisakhi celebration. Jasodha explains about the ritual of Baisakhi how every daughter-in-law pray to there husband’s long life by help of jyoti and Wedding Necklace and ask them to do ritual. Gunwanti brings her Wedding Necklace close to the oil lamp and takes blessings from the oil lamp.
Meet remembers her Wedding Chain is in her room. Jasodha asks Meet about her Wedding Chain. Shagun walks inside the pooja room and says how will she handle her relationship if she can’t handle her Wedding Necklace. Jasodha says how can you be so irresponsible I won’t tolerate this go and get back your Wedding Chain before the oil lamp goes off or else it will be a bod omen. Meet says I’ll get the Wedding Necklace from the room. Jasodha says come fast you don’t have time. Meet walk away.
Shagun remembers Manmeet taking Meet’s Wedding Chain, Shagun walks inside the room. Manmeet says please don’t take this wrong. Shagun says no need to worry, I understand when two people live together, things happen and I trust you, she untangle the the Wedding Chain and asks him to go to bed. Manmeet gets back to sleep and Shagun takes the Wedding Necklace with her.
Meet walks back to the room and sees Manmeet sleeping, she decides to take her Wedding Necklace back tomorrow morning.
Meet is walking back to her room. Shagun stops her in between and says you try to sabotage my love so I took your Wedding Necklace and soon, you will lose your husband too because I’ll steal him too. Meet says it’s about my husband’s long live and you will see Manmeet giving me back my Wedding Necklace before the oil lamp goes off. Shagun says it’s possible only when you know about the Wedding Necklace location. Meet says you will take me there just like you help me to locate the evidence. Shagun says you can forget it!
Shagun is in the room. Meet is looking for the Wedding Necklace in her room. Everyone in the house is looking for the Wedding Chain in the whole house. Jasodha is giving instructions to everyone and thinks this jyot will not last more then 20 minutes, please help her God. Shagun is sitting and enjoying. Meet gets out of her room.
Meghna walks to Meet and says we have looked everywhere but couldn’t find Wedding Chain. Meet says we have to find before jyot goes off, I have to find it for Manmeet’s long live and Jasodha’s promise. Sapna looks under the Sofa and says I found the Wedding Necklace. Meet looks and says this is a simple pearl mala. Sapna says I’ll look for it. Meet says I have an idea I have to do something so that Shagun takes me to the Wedding Chain location.
Shagun hides the the Wedding Necklace inside her mattress and sews the cover to hide it. Shagun says I don’t think Meet will come back into my room.
Meet with Meghna are walking towards the pooja room. Meet loudly says I’m lucky to find my Wedding Necklace, now I have to wait for Manmeet till evening. Shagun hears and asks where did you find it? Meet says where you hid it and mocks her that you called me irresponsible in front of Jasodha, turned out it’s you, so I used my brain to find out the Wedding Necklace. Shagun says show me properly. Meet says no, I won’t show you, as you can run away with it and walks away.
Shagun thinks you can’t locate it and she runs toward her room. Shagun misunderstood mala as Wedding Necklace in her hand.
Shagun bumps into Sapna and hurt her. Shagun runs away. Meet walks to Sapna wait to look after Sapna. Shagun inside her room.
Meet asks her how did you hurt yourself and applies ointment.
Shagun inside room. Meet looking for her. Shagun checks the Wedding Chain and says Meet was trying to trick me, she hides the Wedding Necklace again. Meet prays to God and looking for Shagun. Meet sees Shagun locking the door and rush to her. Shagun says you were trying to fool me. Meet says I want to search again, open the door. Shagun says I’ll open the door once the oil lamp goes off so that you fail to take blessings and she walks away.
Meghna asks Meet about the Wedding Chain. Meet says it’s inside this room but we need key to unlock it we have to ask Manmeet to help us and explain her plan. Meghna and Meet start shouting. Manmeet asks what happen. Meet says there’s a big Snake inside Shagun’s room and it’s poisonous because it might hurt Shagun.
Shagun says you must have seen it that’s an soft toy. Meghna says I saw that moving. Manmeet asks Shagun about the key. Shagun says I lost the keys and asks him not to worry. Manmeet says you life could be in danger let me unlock and check it.
Manmeet breaks the lock and everyone goes inside. Meet mocks Shagun and says you know few locks can be opened by using your brain.
Everyone is inside the room looking for the Snake and make mess inside. Shagun says there’s no Snake inside the room and just worried about the Wedding Chain, she sits on the mattress.
Meet finds it fishy and shouts Shagun why are you sitting on a Snake. Manmeet asks her to shift. Meet looks in the mattress and finds the Wedding Chain. Meet shouts finally I found my Wedding Chain.
Jasodha walks in and asks about the Wedding Chain. Meet says yes it was in Shagun’s room. Shagun says she must have dropped it, it was not in my room. Meet says that’s not possible I lost it and was looking for it since morning. Shagun says don’t argue with me.
Meet whispers to Jasodha she hid it. Manmeet says stop arguing and look for the Snake. Jasodha asks Manmeet to go with Meet and take blessings and do the rituals. Everyone walks outside. Manmeet says I have locked the room for now will look for the Snake later and he walks away. Meet says to Shagun come with us and sees Manmeet helping me to wear the Wedding Chain.
Meet in the pooja room is doing the ritual. Everyone is present in the room. Meet gives the Wedding Necklace to Manmeet. Manmeet takes it from her hand and make her wear the Wedding Chain. Shagun feels jealous and remembers what Meet said to her about the Wedding Chain.
Meet below the shank and takes blessings for Jasodha and the Priest. The Priest says to Sarkar Jasodha wants to keep a pooja for Manmeet’s safety and happiness, I have told everything about pooja to your daughter on law. Sarkar says to Shagun tomorrow you will sit beside Manmeet for pooja. Shagun says sure. The Priest says to Sarkar I’m sorry to say this but only Meet can sit beside Manmeet because she is his Wife or else pooja won’t be successful that’s why Shagun will not sit and the society won’t go against the rules. Sarkar and Manmeet walks out.
Meet walks to Shagun and says Manmeet is right jewellery suits you but the Wedding Necklace is for me and tells her that society don’t respect Illegitimate relations. Shagun says you can try a lot but only know one thing Manmeet likes me and we will see tomorrow about getting respect. Meet says I’m warning you, you want do anything, if it hurts Manmeet or the reputation of this family, and if you try to do something, then…
Meet is getting ready for Besakhi celebration.
Shagun getting ready in her room. Gunwanti walks to her and says why are you getting ready Meet is going to sit beside Manmeet, the Priest said yesterday. Shagun says I don’t care about the holy fire, but I know someone’s reputation will be attacked. Gunwanti says the whole village will be gathering today, what are you going to do?
Meet sees Manmeet’s reflection in mirror. She turns around. Manmeet holds a flying chunri (scarf) and brings it to Meet. Meet takes from him and wear it. Manmeet says you look thin today, different from usual days, everything looks beautiful on you. She drops her jewellery.
Manmeet picks it up and gives it to her. Meet asks him to make her wear. Manmeet gets closer to her and ties the jewellery around her waist. Manmeet says you look beautiful and apply black mark on himself and says now you won’t catch bad omen and he walks out. Meet is blushing and says I would like to stay with you forever.
Meet is in her room. Shagun walks to her room checks her and says you are trying best to look beautiful but not in front of my look and just watch when Manmeet will see me he will ask to sit beside me. Meet says this sacred fire is for Manmeet’s long life and for his health and I’ll sit for holy fire because I’m his wife, for you to sit in the holy fire is your stubbornness but for me it’s for Manmeet’s long life so I have to be careful when you are around so that you don’t attack him again. Shagun says let’s see during the sacred fire because I’m going to sit beside him and if I fail to sit, then the sacred fire will not happen. Meet says pooja will be completed with me sitting beside Manmeet and she walks out.
Everyone gathers for the holy fire. Manmeet asks Gunwanti where is Shagun. Sarkar says she went to temple to pray for you now sit. Meet walks with Jasodha and Meghna. The Priest asks Meet and Manmeet to sit down.
The Priest tells the importance about being husband and Wife and asks them to begin with pooja. The Priest is chanting mantra. Meet and Manmeet are doing pooja. Manmeet gets a call from Shagun. Shagun says please come and save me. Few goons are misbehaving with her.
The Goons are troubling Shagun on the street. Shagun is shouting for help. Manmeet sees Shagun in danger and shouts at everyone. The Goon says is she is not your Wife, so let us enjoy with her. Manmeet asks everyone to back off. The Goon says you are already married to Meet and then having an affair with her. Manmeet tries to punch him but Shagun comes in between and says how many people will you hit because everyone will question about our relation so tell them what am I to you. Shagun gives look to Meet.
A Stranger says to Manmeet you can’t hide the truth, you already have a wife but still Shagun is in your life. Manmeet try to hit him but Sarkar stops him and says what do you think you can hide the truth but beating everyone, you can try hard but your relation will Shagun will be called as affair, I know you are fulfilling the promise but what about Shagun she is still waiting for you after being humiliated but your love didn’t give anything to her. Manmeet shouts Shagun is my love.
Shagun says society won’t understand anything. Sarkar says relations are maintained when they are been named something and your love has made her characterless and you are responsible for that and if you want to wipe off the tag of characterless from her then you have to do pooja with her not with Meet. Manmeet gets angry. Sarkar and Shagun exchange looks.
Gunwanti and Shagun are in the room together. Gunwanti says you tried a lot to grab attention but in the end, nobody got a chance to sit in the holy fire because he cancelled it. Shagun says if Manmeet is having difficulty to take a decision then I’ll help him to decide, wait for tomorrow now.
Manmeet sitting alone remembers what Sarkar told her about Shagun’s character. Meet walks to him with Lassi. Manmeet says no for lassi. Meet says talking might help you. Manmeet says I’m the Culprit, one side you are my responsibility and on the other side is Shagun’s love. Meet says I’m your Wife too. Manmeet says that was not marriage, I tricked you. Meet says but I got married to you and trusted you. Manmeet says I promised your father to search a right life partner for you, who would love you and stand beside you and never leave you so that you get happy and if you are happy then I’m happy and eventually Shagun will also be happy and I’ll bring that person for you.
Meet says you will find that person for me do you promise me? Manmeet says I promise. Meet says think one time. Manmeet says tell me if you like someone. Meet says come with me and she shows his reflection in mirror. Manmeet is confused and says that’s me. Meet says yes it’s you, I want to live with you and spend my whole life, I want to share everything with you and Raj wants to see me with you, I love you Manmeet.
Manmeet walks away and says you know very well I love Shagun and you are my friend how can you think about this, me and Shagun love each other since Childhood. Meet says love is not about Childhood, love just happen, can’t you give me one chance to our relationship. Manmeet says our relationship started on the basis of cheat. Meet says I know, first we were enemies and then became friends but now I love you, what can I do?
Manmeet says please don’t choose me if you ask me to bring someone else I’ll get him for you but please don’t choose me. Meet says I already have chosen you now what should I do, if you want you can ask me to leave from your life I’ll go and never comeback and can live with my one sided love. Manmeet walks away from her. Meet is in tears.
