Shahbaz says he knows he can’t talk in the board meeting, but as a dutiful citizen, he wants to say something. His man sets up a laptop. Irfan asks what he wants to say? Shahbaz says he wants to say that he has no right to decide about instant divorce, all are stunned and gets up. Irfan says who took that right from him? Shahbaz says her name is Zara Siddiqui, her daughter. Irfan says Shahabaz! Shahbaz says just watch the video first. The video of Zara talking against instant divorce in train plays, and how she said that women have no say in instant divorceso it’s not valid. Kabir looks on. Irfan is dejected.
Zara messages Reema that Kabir came to her house. Irfan comes there and takes the phone from her, he glares at her. Zara says what happened? Irfan says did you argue about instant divorce o the train? She says yes but… Irfan says the whole board saw that video, now listen, in one minute, you will come to the board and tell them that whatever you said in train was just to win an argument and you believe in instant divorce like me, he leaves. Zara is stunned.
Zara places her scarf on her head and comes to the meeting room. She greets everyone and glares at Kabir. Khalid says what’s your opinion about instant divorce, tell us. Shahbaz says talk daughter about what you said in the train, can you repeat it? Zara is tensed and looks at Irfan who nods at her. Zara says whatever you people saw in the video was just to win an argument, I have same belief on instant divorce as Irfan. I was asked to say this, but this is not true. Irfan is stunned and says Zara? Zara says forgive me father, but I can’t lie here, you have taught me that there is no place for lie in Islam, whatever I said in train is my thinking, my belief. I feel instant divorce is not in favour of women.
Kabir says all the past divorces were wrong according to you? Zara says forget about the past, let’s make good future for Women… they can give birth to brave Sons. Khalid asks why is she so against it? Zara says instant divorce is not mentioned in Quran and Hadith and she doesn’t believe in following the rituals. Khalid says now you will tell us about that? Zara says before government remind us, I think we should listen to people saying the right thing, I know you all know Islam more than me, but I want you all to remember the Prophet’s saying that good men are who behave nicely with women. Irfan says you have said what you wanted, now you can leave. She nods and leaves.
Her Mom asks Zara what she said? Zara says she said what her father wanted, but she also said truth. Zara runs to her room and cries.
Shahbaz says to Irfan that he’s the Chiarman, and people look up to him, but he has disappointed them, as he shows that he’s in favour of instant divorce, but he made his daughter go against it, as well aa influencing people to go against it, which shows that he played dual game on this, as he cheated all of them. Irfan says that isn’t correct. Khalid says Irfan if I were you, then I would have resigned on moral grounds.
The Press comes there and says they want to talk about the viral video of Irfan’s daughter. Irfan says that’s personal, the press says instant divorce is not a personal issue anymore. Kabir says Irfan isn’t feeling well, and he’s the Vice Chairman, so they can talk to him too. The Reporter asks what the truth is behind Irfan’s daughter’s video. Kabir says it’s fake, it’s a lie, and they should check with forensic first before concluding.
A Reporter asks for his views on instant divorce? Kabir says it’s part of their religion and they must abide by it. The Reporter asks if they can talk to Irfan’s daughter? Kabir says not right now, he makes them all leave. Shahbaz glares at them, and Kabir greets Irfan and leaves. Irfan is thankful.
Khalid says to Shahbaz that he trapped Irfan today so nicely. Shahbaz says he created that situation so that Irfan would resign, but his Son destroyed all that, by taking his side! Khalid says he doesn’t know why he said the video is fake. Shahbaz looks on.
Irfan is tensed. His Wife comes to him and asks him to not worry. Irfan says he’s thinking of a way to respond, she says he always fight against his enemies. Irfan says but this time, they have hit him from behind by using his daughter against him. His Wife says but Zara is innocent, as she doesn’t know anything about Politics. Irfan says yes he knows, but she has disappointed him.
Irfan comes to dinner table, Zara says he wants to talk to him. He doesn’t listen to her. Zara request him to listen to her, she says he was the one that taught her not to ever lie, and this is all because of Kabir, as he made her argue over instant divorce in the train, he made a video and got it viral! Irfan doesn’t answer and leaves. Zara looks on.
Kabir offers namaz/prayer. He is praying when some girl comes, she put her hands on his hands and smile. The girl says when two hearts pray together, then it can be heard the more. Kabir gets up and says when did you come Ruksaar? Ruksar says she wanted to come so early, but she was busy then. Kabir washes his hands, she asks why he washed his hands after namaz? Kabir says you are not liable to have physical proximity, so he had to wash his hands. Ruksar says so we can marry? It’s liable then. Kabir says yes we can, but we don’t have to, and remember that my father will decide about my marriage and I have given him that right, he leaves. Ruksar looks on.
Zeenat comes to her Sister, Ruksar and says don’t worry, just be friends with Kabir for now, as boys say all that in the start, but she will handle his Parents.
Zara comes to her room, she recalls Irfan going mad at her. She recalls Kabir arguing with her. Zara calls Reema and says do anything but find that priest Kabir’s number, her mom looks on.
Shahbaz comes to Kabir and glares at him. Shahbaz asks why he saved Irfan’s daughter from the media today? Kabir is stunned and says he’s wrong about that, as he saved the respect of the board, and not Irfan or his daughter. Shahbaz says the blame on him could be of great benefit to them. Kabir says so that’s why you tempered with the video (cutting out Kabir’s arguments). Shahbaz says he did this just for the benefit of the society, as Irfan is weak and he wants him to be the one to the guide people instead! Kabir says but they can’t arrive at their destination by taking the wrong path, as their religion doesn’t allow them to lie and cheat.
Shahbaz asks if he can leave right and wrong behind for a moment and listen to him? Kabir says he can give him his life, but if he ask him to not follow his religion and its preaching and do wrong, then he has chosen the wrong person to fulfill his dreams, he leaves.
Zara offers namaz. She stops Irfran and blesses him. He turns to leave, but Zara says she can’t bear him being miffed with her, so he has to talk to her. He turns to leave, but she says swear on Quran. He takes the Quran from her, kisses it and puts it in its place. He says come with me and talk. Zara smiles and goes with him.
Zara says to Irfan that she’s sorry, and she’s ashamed of herself. Irfan asks if she’s ashamed of what she said at the meeting? She says no. Irfan gets angry and asks what then is she sorry for? Zara says not listening to him, but her thinking isn’t wrong, and instant divorce is not right, it’s not written in Quran and hadith. Irfan says Scholars have rights to make laws too. Zara says yes, but she knows, and the way of divorce has already been given in Quran. Irfan says she doesn’t understand Politics of this city, and he understands her thinking, but she doesn’t know things, so she should go back to the University and study more.
Zara’s Mom says to Zara, that because of her, Irfan is resigning from his position! She says what? Irfan says he doesn’t have any other option. Zara says no, if he does that, then she will go to the Media and do Press Conference against Instant Divorce! He is stunned, and Zara leaves from there.
Zeenat is working in the Kitchen. Ruksar comes there and offers to help, she prayed to get Kabir to be hers. Zeenat says she has to help herself too, so they will ask the Servant to make breakfast for him, but she would be the one to take it to him and she shouldn’t call it bed tea, otherwise he won’t drink it.
Kabir does work out in his room. Ruksar brings breakfast and informs him. He asks her to not come inside his gym area. He wears shirt and comes out. Ruksar ogles at his body and says wow, you look so good in these clothes. He is wearing a T-shirt and a trouser. Kabir says he feels she is flirting to have physical proximity. Ruksar says he keeps saying big words, talk in simple language, he says okay and smiles. Kabir sees the newspaper and reads the article that Lucknow’s Chiarman’s daughter is against him on Instant Divorce. He is shocked and leaves from there.
Zara is in her room. Her Mom comes there and says she really wanted to go on Media right? She need not worry, as the Media is already behind her now! She shows her the newspaper article with Zara’s picture on it. Zara reads the headline and is left stunned. She crumbles it. Her Mom says their family has been known for knowledge and respect, people didn’t know the faces of the women in their family, but now, everyone knows the face of their daughter, and not only her face is printed here, but her family’s respect has been tarnished, alongside it! Zara throws the newspaper away and leaves.
Shahbaz calls Agarwal from the Newspaper compant and says thank you for publishing that news, we will give you more ads from our company now. He ends the call, and Kabir comes there and asks if he printed this news? Shahbaz says yes, anything wrong? Kabir says he doesn’t want an educated man’s respect being tarnished like that. Shahbaz says he doesn’t have to follow everything he says, and father can commit sins, but the Sons do not have to bear the punishment, so he shouldn’t worry about that, as those who dream should know how to fulfill it, so he should only be prepared to becoming the head of the board.
Zara comes there and shouts Kabir Ahmed! Kabir is stunned to see her. Ruksaar and others look on too. Zara snatches the Newspaper from Kabir and says this is your reality? When you lose, then you hit them from the back? When you don’t have arguments left, then you make a nice woman’s pictures to be published in the Newspapers? Shahbaz says how dare this girl! Kabir says no father, she asked me, so I will answer her.
Kabir says his arguments didn’t end, and he didn’t attack anyone from the back, he offers her water, Kabir says he knows he’s not happy about this news, and neither was he, but he didn’t publish this news. Zara says you are lying, you can’t forget your defeat of that debate so…, Kabir says shut up! Zara says she isn’t finished talking! She says he didn’t leave any chance to play with her and her father’s respect, but she won’t let him do it!
Kabir says she said that she pities whoever will be his wife, right? But no boy can forget it, which he did, and yet, she still thinks he can’t forget a small defeat? He says he thought she’s educated, but he’s so wrong about that, as she’s just a stubborn girl who has disgraced her family, and today, he’s telling her that she pities the guy that will become her husband!
Zara says pity yourself first, because she won’t let him be successful in his plans! She says as from now on, Irfan isn’t alone, as his daughter is his strength, and she has guts to destroy anyone who tries to attack my father! She tears the Newspaper while glaring at him. Shahbaz smirks. Zara throws the Newspaper’s pieces at Kabir’s face and leaves. Ruksar goes behind her.
Zara is leaving Kabir’s house when Ruksar stops her, she says she can break anyone hurting her father right? It looked nice seeing her love for her father. Zara says if they can’t support their Parents, then it’s no use, who are you? Ruksar says the one whom you pity. Zara recalls how she said she pity Kabir’s would be Wife. She says you are Kabir’s Wife? Ruksar says no, his fiancee, I am Ruksar. Zara says Kabir has sent you to threaten me? She says no, but to make you explain! Zara says ask him first that girls who live in their prospective in-laws house before the wedding are called in their religion? Ruksar glares at her. Zara leaves.
Zara comes home, her Mom asks where she was? It’s been late, and she was worried. Zara doesn’t answer her and just goes straight to her room.
Irfan calls the members and tells them to call the Sharia board meeting, as he wants to file a case on all the Newspaper companies that printed this news without his official statement! Zara comes to him and says she went to Kabir’s house to answer them. Irfan says that those who took his respect as his weakness, will definitely be taught a lesson by himself, and sensible people take things at hands, before they get out of hands. He leaves.
Zara calls someone and tells her some instructions, she says now, she will handle things before time runs out.
