Gangaa, a show about a child widow and her fight against the society for dignity, had its first time leap when they showed the lead character – Gangaa – as a grown-up woman.
This time around, Gangaa would give birth to a daughter.
Ruhana Khanna, who portrayed Gangaa’s childhood on the small screen, will be back with the time leap as the character’s daughter.
Speaking about her comeback on the show, little Ruhana said, “I can’t express my happiness. It’s a homecoming of sorts for me. The only change is that instead of being called Gangaa, I will now be called Krishna. The show is very close to my heart. I missed everyone on the set and it will be fun to shoot with them again.”
