Moti ask Salim to get ready for the feast but Salim says that I don’t want to go, Moti says Jodha have made a special outfit for you, Salim says I will not wear it, Jodha comes and ask why is he not not coming to the feast? Your Grandmother has prepared this feast for only you, Salim says I don’t want to come, Jodha says Jalal will be angry. Salim says Jalal only knows how to be angry, I won’t come!
Ruqaiya comes there and says I will see how Salim will not come for the feast, Salim says I don’t want to go, Ruqaiya says okay, I will also not go, I will sit with you here and will not eat food too, but you know there will be many children in the feast and also very delicious food, but it’s okay, I will eat pulse. Salim says no, I don’t want to eat pulse, we will go for the feast, but I will wear the outfit which you have brought for me, Ruqaiya says I didn’t know that Jodha has brought an outfit for you, if not, I wouldn’t have brought mine, you wear the outfit which Jodha has brought for you, Salim says no, I will wear only the outfit brought by you.
Jodha says it’s okay, at least he got ready to come for the feast, you make him dress up, Jodha leaves from there. Ruqaiya thinks that Salim is going away from Jodha and coming near me. (Ruqaiya is so stupid to ever think she could break a Parent (Jodha-Jalal) and Child’s (Salim) bond just like that).
In the Ceremony, Jalal says to all that there will be another Ceremony the day after tomorrow, on that day, there will be official announcement of Salim being the Heir of the throne, Stamp paper will be made, Jalal makes Salim sit beside him, he ask Salim what he wants to eat? Salim sees many dishes and says I am not hungry.
Murad ask Jalal can I take Salim with me, we have many things to talk about? Jalal allows him.
Murad brings Salim to all the children, Salim ask Daniyal why he is not eating anything? Daniyal says that there are so many dishes, I am confused what to eat, Murad says you close your eyes and I will make you eat your favourite dish, Daniyal closes his eyes and Murad makes him eat green chilly, Daniyal drinks water.
Rahim is looking at some girl, Salima comes there and catches him red handed, she ask what are you doing? Salima says this is sin to look inti the Harem, Rahim says I was just seeing who these new girls are? Salima says they have come from Mewat, they have come to attend this ceremony, Rahim leaves from there.
Jalal ask Tansen to start the Ceremony, Ruqaiya says I want to listen to Raag Malhari (some tune), Jodha says please play Raag Kafi (another tune), and sing some lines for Krishna bhagwan. Maan ask Tansen to follow the orders of the Ultimate Queen/Queen Mother (Jodha). Ruqaiya gets angry, Ruqaiya who is sitting at one side of Jalal, gets up and leaves from there.
Tansen starts singing song in praise of Krishna, Jalal says to Salima that I am happy that Salim has comeback to the Palace, Salima says it’s a joyous day and this Ceremony has made it more joyful.
Jalal ask Maan to come to him, he comes, Jalal ask Maan to sit beside him, Maan says Ruqaiya sit here, so how can I sit here? Jalal says don’t forget that you are the Nephew of my other Royal Queen, you are like my Son, Maan sit beside Jalal, Jalal makes him eat with his own hands.
Ruqaiya comes there and sees this, she thinks that now the Nephew of Jodha is even more close to Jalal than me, but soon, I will use Salim and will get back my position!
Jalal says to Jodha that why not play chess after the Ceremony? Jodha says why not? Jalal calls Salim, Salim sits between Jodha and Jalal, Jodha ask him to eat something, Salim says I don’t want to eat anything, I am tired, I am going to sleep, Jodha says okay, I will make you listen to a story, Salim says I don’t want to listen, I just want to sleep! He leaves.
Jodha says he is still angry with us, Salima says he must be tired, he will be set in somedays, I will go and make him sleep, Jodha says make him drink milk too.
Resham says to Ruqaiya that you should be feeling bad that Maan and Jodha are very much close to Jalal than you, he called Maan Son, one Wife (Salima) have Rahim, and Jodha have Salim, Jodha is given priority in everything, your position has been overtaken by Jodha. Ruqaiya says Salim was of Jodha but now, he is not of hers anymore!
Salima says to Murad that I will go and make Salim sleep, Murad says all care for Salim not about me, Jodha says it’s not like that, I love you a lot, Murad says true? Jodha says yes. Jalal says Salim is very lucky to have mothers like Salima, Jodha, Ruqaiya, Jodha ask are you jealous of Salim? Jalal says I can’t win in argument with you.
Salim is sleeping in the room, Ruqaiya comes there and ask him to wake up, she says it’s me, Salim wakes up, Ruqaiya says what happened? You didn’t eat food today? She looks at the milk glass and ask Salim to drink it.
Salima is going, Hamida ask where are you going? Salima says I am going to see Salim, you take rest. Salima leaves to check on Salim.
Ruqaiya stealthily mixes opium in his milk and smirks. She thinks it’s time to make opium double for Salim. She brings the milk to Salim and makes him drink it.
Salima comes there and ask what are you doing Ruqaiya?? She finds Salim dizzy and ask him to talk, but he doses off. Salima ask Ruqaiya what did you mix in the milk? Ruqaiya says I just came to see Salim, this milk glass was already there when I came here, I just asked Salim to drink it, Salima says it was me who placed the milk here, but it had just kesar in it, Ruqaiya says so it was you? Salima says you mixed something in it and alleging me???? Ruqaiya says I think you have mixed something in it.
Salima says I will check the milk and will know what you mixed in it! Ruqaiya says you mixed something not me, Salima says give the milk glass to me, Ruqaiya says you are crossing your limits! Salima says when you didn’t mix something, then give the glass to me, Salima tries to snatch the glass from her and the milk falls on the floor, she finds colour of milk brown, and ask Ruqaiya what did she mix in it?? Salima says this matter will not end here Ruqaiya, I will go to Jalal and now, he will decide about this matter! She leaves. Ruqaiya is tensed.
Rahim is standing, Salima comes to him and ask where is Jalal? Rahim says he is busy in the Ceremomy, what happened? Salima looks at Jalal and comes to him, she says I want to talk to you, Jalal says after sometime, Tansen is singing very nicely, Salima says it’s important, Jalal says I request you to give me some time pls.
Salima ask Zakira where is Jodha? She says Jodha went to her room. Salima finds Jodha going to her room and says I want to tell you something about Salim, she tells her everything of how Ruqaiya made Salim drink the milk and he got dizzy, then Ruqaiya and she had a tiff and the milk fell on the floor, and it was of brown colour, Salima says we have to rush to Salim, don’t know what happened to him, come fast.
Jodha sternly looks at her and says but you took the milk to Salim, Salima is stunned and says yes, Jodha says what did you mix in Salim’s milk? Salima says I didn’t mix anything, I just mixed Kesar, I have seen with my eyes that Ruqaiya was mixing something and made Salim drink the milk, Jodha says I cant believe you did this, Ruqaiya told me everything, she said that you mixed something in the milk and now you are saying that Ruqaiya mixed something?
Ruqaiya comes there and smirks at Salima, Jodha says you are alleging each other, I can’t believe this, Salim is your child too, how can any one of you do this with Salim? Tell me who did this with Salim? Ruqaiya says you know how much I love Salim, Salima is alleging me, Salima says now you will blame me? Jodha says enough! Don’t blame each other, for me, Salim matters the most, she runs from there. Salima is disgusted at Ruqaiya and leaves too, Ruqaiya smirks.
The Doctor checks Salim, Ruqaiya ask will he be fine? The Doctor says he will be fine, I have given him medicine, but the opium’s effect will take time to come off him.
Jalal comes and ask how is he? The Doctor says we have made Salim vomit, so the opium has come out of his stomach, she leaves.
Jalal looks at Salima and Ruqaiya, Jalal says you both are special to me and alleging each other for this sin, but don’t forget that you will be punished, so tell me who did this? If you take time, then my anger will be aggravated, so tell me the truth who did this??
Ruqaiya says it’s Salima, she came to make Salim sleep, and she gave milk to Salim.
Salima says when I came into the room, Ruqaiya was making Salim drink the milk, Ruqaiya says yes, I made him drink it, as the glass was already placed there, but I didn’t know that there was opium in it.
Hamida says I cant believe that Salima can do anything like this, Ruqaita says so you want to say that I can do this?? Hamida says the thing is that somebody gave opium to Salim, so who did this? Ruqaiya says it’s Salima!
Jalal says enough! no more word, when Salim will come into his senses, he will tell who gave him milk, he will tell the truth, you both go from here! Salima is sad and leaves, Ruqaiya leaves too, Jalal looks at Jodha sadly.
Jodha is sitting beside sleeping Salim, she prays to God that why you take my exam related to my Son? Why is every problem related to Salim? When will these problems end? She asks Khana to give problems to her, but protect my Son, she kisses Salim’s forehead.
Hamida says to Gul Badan that I can’t sleep, until I know who gave opium to Salim. Gul Badan says Ruqaiya said that Salima gave him the opium. Hamida says my heart is saying that Salima can’t do this, Gul Badan says Ruqaiya also can’t do this, you know how much she loves Salim. Hamida says I don’t know what the truth is, even Salim can’t tell anything, he doesn’t know about plotting in this age.
Jalal is in the garden and thinking, he is tensed. A Servant comes and tells him that Salim has become conscious.
Jalal comes to Salim and says I can’t believe that my wives did this with my Son, he ask Salima and Ruqaiya to tell the truth who did this and why? Jalal ask Salima to speak up, did she mix opium in the milk and why? Ruqaiya says because she wants Murad to be Heir and wants to become Marium Zamani (Ultimate Queen) that’s why she was making Salim addicted to Opium, so that he becomes incompetent to be the King.
Salima says be afraid of God Ruqaiya, why are you lying? Ruqaiya says why would I lie? You brought milk for Salim! Salima says yes, I brought it, but I swear I didn’t mix opium in it, Ruqaiya says what gain will I get by mixing opium? I have no Son to desire to make him the Heir, so I can’t do this. Salima says I can’t do this, Jalal has given me so much, I can’t go against him.
Ruqaiya says you only know that, how do we know that you went against him or not?? Jalal ask to bring Salim here, now we will know the truth, as a child never lies!
Salim comes there, Jalal ask him to come to him, he ask how are you now? he ask Salim to tell the truth who made you eat opium? Salim ask what is opium? Jalal says I mean to say that who from Ruqaiya and Salima made you eat something through which you start to feel dizzy? Salim looks at Salima and Ruqaiya, Jalal says don’t be afraid just tell the truth.
Salim gets up and looks at both, he thinks and points to Ruqaiya but then points to Salima, she is appalled, all are shocked, Salim says it is done by Salima, whenever she makes me eat something, I feel dizzy, all are shocked, Ruqaiya smirks.
Ruqaiya says see Jalal, I told you that this sin is done by just Salima! I caught her red handed, so she started alleging me, Salima cries and says believe me, I didn’t make Salima eat any opium, I don’t know why Salim is lying, I think it’s Ruqaiya’s plan.
Jalal says enough! Why would Ruqaiya do that and she is right that you have reason to do all this! Rahim is hurt, Jalal says I want to talk to Salima alone, all leaves.
Salima comes to Jalal, Jalal says welcome, sit, Salima sit in front of him. Jalal ask why you did this? Salima says I didn’t do this, Jalal says Ruqaiya said that you did this, Salima says I am also saying that Ruqaiya have done it, you believe her but not me, Jalal says what about Salim pointing at you? you want to say that Salim is lying? A small child? You know very well that after Bairam Khan, I married you and took care of you, I wouldn’t have believed Ruqaiya, but Salim pointed at you, the thing that hurts more is that you did all this with Salim. Salima says when you have decided that I am the Criminal, then I don’t have anything to say in my defense.
Jalal says you know you will be jailed for this? Salim has given a statement against you, but I still think that you should be given a chance, so tell me why you did this? If you didn’t do it, then have you got any proof that prove your innocence?
Salima says I have no proofs or witness, she is in tears, Jalal calls Todar Mal there, Jalal says house arrest Salima, Salima is shocked, Jalal turns, Salima greets Jalal and leaves with Soldiers, Jalal is hurt. Salima is going with Soldiers to be arrested, she looks at Jalal last time, but he turns away.
Jodha looks at Salima going to be arrested, Salima looks at Hamida with sad eyes, Hamida stands sternly there, Jodha feels bad, Salima then finds Ruqaiya who is smirking at her
Rahim comes to Salima and says I am sad but you deserve this, Salima says you also don’t trust me? Rahim says no, you gave opium to Salim so that Murad can get throne, I am brother of Salim and Murad, I am their teacher, I am ashamed of you! Salima is hurt, he leaves, Salim is with Ruqaiya who is angrily looking at Salima.
Salima is been taken to Jail, all are sad seeing her going, Rahim comes to Jodha and touches her feet and says I am sorry, what Salima did, I ask for forgiveness on her part, Jodha says it’s not your fault, Rahim says I don’t understand how she could do this?
Ruqaiya thinks that Salima is totally in my hands now, on my insistence, Salim alleged Salima, now Salima is away from Salim and it’s time for Jodha to go away from Salim, I will create such misunderstanding between you and Jalal that you will keep busy in solving them!
Jodha comes to Salima, Salima says I knew you will come, you will believe me, she hugs Jodha, and says believe me that I never took Salim less than Murad and Rahim, Jodha says that trust is thing on which we live, but if trust is gone, then relations become bitter, Salima says you also think that I gave opium to Salim? Jodha says my heart doesn’t accept it, but all proofs are against you, I don’t understand, you are also a mother, how can you do this with an innocent child?
Salima says you know how to use words and swords and you know that words hurt more than swords and today, your words hurt me a lot, you are Salim’s mother so you can doubt anyone, but let me tell that I didn’t give opium to Salim, Jodha says if this is the case, then why didn’t you speak in front of Jalal when he was punishing you? Why didn’t you object on his decision? Salima says I didn’t give opium, but I can’t go against my husband, it’s a sin, remember you were also house arrested, but you were not a Criminal, same case is with me, soon, the truth will be out, if Jalal had thought of me as a Criminal, then he would have ordered to kill me, but he punished me for house arrest, this means he is not totally convinced that I am a Terrorist, I have no proof that I am innocent, but I know God is not against me, I have no regret with this punishment, but it hurts more that you also thought of me as a Criminal without investigation, but it’s not your fault, it’s your care for your child.
Jodha says tell me everything about this matter, Salima says I just want to tell you that what we always see is not the truth, tomorrow, the truth will come out, but these bitter words will become reason for hatred, I don’t want to destroy my relations with you. Jodha says if you are not the Culprit then it’s a very big mistake to house arrest you, Salima says wait for tomorrow, Salim is being used in this plan, but I have faith in Jalal, I request you to keep an eye on Salim, he needs you now, Jodha thinks maybe Ruqaiya wrongly alleged Salima?
