Preeta asks her to hear her good news. She says Karan came to meet me and promised to get me a clean chit.
Sherlyn says you are too innocent, you trust anyone easily, you will be in pain when Karan breaks your trust, you tried to kill Mahira. Preeta scolds her and asks her to just leave! Sherlyn says I’m your friend, so I’m telling you the truth now, that Karan is only trying to get closer to you, so that you can depend on him and not find a good lawyer, after which, he will break your trust, and you will be far from his heart and life, you will end up in jail, then there will be Kuldevi (goddess) prayer, and Karan and Mahira will sit together for it. She taunts Preeta. Preeta pushes her and shouts.
Sherlyn says it’s out last meet, we won’t meet again, won’t you ask me today about the father of my coming child? Mahira comes there and looks on. Preeta says I know, it’s not Rishabh. Sherlyn says fine, you will hear the name of my child’s father today, maybe it’s Rishabh, or maybe not, sorry I have to go and get cake for Ramona, bye. She gives a flying kiss to Preeta and goes. Mahira hides. Preeta cries.
Everyone sings the birthday song. Ramona cuts the cake and feeds everyone. Kritika says we know Sherlyn isn’t good, what to do? Sameer says yes, but she did a good thing by saving Mahesh.
Sherlyn asks Rishabh to call the Priest Kareena has asked her to. He asks her to call and make the arrangements just as she likes, herself. She asks Rakhi to go and rest. Mahira sees her.
Ramona says Rakhi, Sherlyn is really nice, you got yourself a nice daughter-in-law.
The Inspector asks the court hearing time. The Constable says 3:30pm. The Inspector gets a call and says the lawyer will fight the case as you said, I gave the number to Preeta’s mum.
Sherlyn says good, your wife got the fees. She says lawyer Sharma will take money from Sarla, but fight for me, and I will win, while Preeta will lose.
Mahira comes and asks what did you do now? Sherlyn says I won’t let Preeta come out of this evidence, and the Judge will see the evidence and know it’s fake, I chose the lawyer, Sarla would have felt the lawyer will free Preeta, but I already bribed the lawyer and the Inspector, so Sarla will feel the lawyer is good, he will take money from Sarla, but fight from my side. Mahira says it’s a big risk. Sherlyn says Preeta is a big problem, I’m ready to take any risk, we shouldn’t think of what we will lose, but rather what we will get, and how we will win it. She goes.
Karan says Rishabh, it’s Preeta’s court hearing tomorrow, do you think I have something to save her? Rishabh says you have nothing, how will you save her, do you have any idea? Karan says the lawyer gave him a suggestion. Rishabh says if Mahira could say that Preeta did this to her, then I don’t think the same Mahira could withdraw her case.
Karan says I can’t let Preeta get punished, she is so innocent. Rishabh says I know, you don’t need to say it. Karan says it depends on Mahira, I will talk to her. Rishabh says you will talk, but it’s not easy. Karan says I promised Preeta that I will get her out of jail on a clean chit, I will have to talk to Mahira now, I just hope she won’t refuse me. Rishabh hugs him, and Karan leaves.
Rishabh says I don’t ask anything for myself, but bring Preeta and her family out of this, they are good people.
Sarla shows the Kumkum Bhagya hall papers to someone. Shrishti asks who is he? Janki says he gives money loan on interest. Sarla asks the man to give her the money on time. He says fine. Shrishti checks the papers and thinks it’s the hall papers. Sarla says give him the papers. The man goes. Sarla says we have to get Preeta out of jail, I have mortgaged the hall. Shrishti says you should have told me, about it first, before deciding on this.
Sarla asks why, I found this way right, I love this hall, but Preeta is my life, she is in jail, she didn’t do the crime, and the lawyer was asking for money, I didn’t sell the hall, it’s only being mortgaged, we will return the money and get it back, we have to save Preeta first, I can do anything for her. Shrishti says you are a rockstar.
Janki asks Sarla to talk to Karan, maybe he has gotten this case over at the Police station, which means, we won’t be needing a lawyer. Sarla says that she knows that Preeta believes that Karan will come to save her and also knows that Karan knows that she’s not capable of doing anything, but Preeta is her daughter, so she will do just everything possible to get her released from jail, as they cannot rely solely on Karan for the solution.
Mahira is in her room when Karan comes to the door, she asks why he’s standing outside, as he should come in, he comes explaining that he should have talked about it earlier, so he wants to ask her to take back the case filed against Preeta. Mahira gets shocked asking him for the reason for that? She explains that she has never barred him from doing anything, but he should understand the complications in this case, as she hasn’t even asked him anything before, because she is the victim here, and Preeta has pushed her in front of the truck, and she also knows the reason that they haven’t yet gotten married, and she wants him to understand that she doesn’t want anything bad to happen between the both of them, because of Preeta.
Karan tries to calm her down, saying that he’s aware of the fact that she has survived a lot. Mahira says that she got scared because of Preeta, and they are not even sure if she won’t try to harm her all over again, if she’s set free. Karan disagrees, saying that she can never do anything of the sort.
Mahira says that it’s too late now, as the case has already reached the Court, but she is curious if he thinks that she’s the one who hates Preeta? Karan gets amazed hearing this.
Rishab enters the room where Sherlyn is standing, she explains that she feels really nice after coming back, Rishab thanks her, she stops him, saying that she felt really bad when she was away from all of them, he thanks her for coming back, she asks why he said it, he explains that he said that, as she took great care of his family. She gets curious, asking if he doesn’t like her coming back? He also says that he liked her coming back, so she pleads with him to have a cup of coffee with her, and forces him to accept it.
Mahira asks Karan if he thinks that she hates Preeta? Karan explains that he thinks that she has some confusion regarding Preeta and they are fuelled by Sherlyn.
Sherlyn is walking in the hall, thinking that she was the only one who hated the Luthra’s and she now has Mahira on her side, whom she will use as a puppet! She plans to take revenge on everyone that had once hated her, as she has made plans to control everyone!
Karan tries to plead with Mahira to make her take back the case, she explains that she cannot trust Preeta, Karan asks her to trust him, and he will make sure that Preeta doesn’t come near her, as she is truly an innocent girl.
Sherlyn is passing by, when she hears the both of them talking, so she plans to listen to their conversation.
Mahira refuses to do anything for Preeta, Karan turns his back and thinks that if Mahira confesses against Preeta, then it would mean that Preeta suffers for a crime that she never even committed, so he plans to do almost everything to save Preeta.
Karan turns back, explaining that she’s worried that he will not stand by her when Preeta is released, so they will both make a deal then, and if she takes the case back, then he will marry her.
Sherlyn is thinking that Mahira will never turn against her, and Preeta will not be released, Mahira however accepts the deal that Karan has offered, explaining that she will confess that everything that has happened was a mistake. Karan takes her hand and leaves after thanking her.
Sherlyn hides away from Laran and enters the room, as soon as he leaves, she slaps Mahira really hard, asking how she could turn her back on her, as it will ruin her entire worthwhile plan! Mahira also gets angry, Sherlyn asks her to not tell any lies, as she has heard it by herself, so there is no point in denying it, abd she knows the reason that Mahira has backstabbed her, which will have great effects, and she knows that Mahira doesn’t need Sherlyn.
Mahira brings water for her, saying that she should stop shouting and she is a foolish girl, and that she reacts very easily, and so she shouldn’t mess with her, as she has made a big mistake when she raised her hands on her!
Mahira explains that she has made Sherlyn do everything for her, as she pretended to be the innocent girl and never said a word which was her greatest weapon, she created a situation where Karan would come to her and ask her for marriage, since she has come to the realisation that he can do just anything for Preeta, so this is why she did everything she has done.
Karan enters his room and jumping on the bed, is constantly thinking of the moments spent with Preeta, whereas, Preeta is also thinking of him, but Karan isn’t able to control his emotions, remembering how he used to tease Preeta, and in that process started loving her, he remembers when he used to come near Preeta.
Preeta is thinking of what Sherlyn said and wonders if Karan is really marrying Mahira, as what she saw in his eyes was really different, so how can he be marrying her/(Mahira).
Preeta remembers what Karan promised her about getting her released with clean aquittance, she thinks that she felt there was something in his eyes, and he had feelings for her, but since he’s about to get married to someone else, that could only mean she might have seen wrongly.
Karan thinks that he knows that she’s innocent and everyone has seen what they were shown, which was clearly visible that she didn’t do it on purpose, so he cracked the deal with Mahira, as he had no other way.
Preeta however, is crying, as she felt that he still loves her.
Sherlyn explains that Mahira is a mistake, as Karan would never marry her, not when Preeta is free. Mahira explains that she’, # not like Sherlyn, and tells that she plans her game with complete understanding, so she’s not capable of doing anything. She tried to explain it to her that she is smarter than her (Sherlyn), who gets really mad, when she is insulted.
Magira explains that she has all the cards in her favour, and she’s making Karan do just what she wants. She asks Sherlyn to sit and think about what she has said.
Rishab is walking, wondering if Karan has spoken with Mahira, as he has told him that he’ll do just that. Rishab goes to ask him about it. He asks Karan who explains that she has agreed to confess in the Court. Rihsab is happy, but Karan hugs him tightly, and when he asks the reason, Karan refuses to say anything, Rishab is left confused, wondering what has happened to Karan.
In the morning, Sarla asks Janki if Bi jee came back? She is tensed, Janki asks her to remain calm, as everything is going to be alright, then Bi jee also comes explaining that she shouldn’t worry.
Sarla explains that she’s worried about her daughter, as when she went to meet her, she saw that Preeta was still looking for Karan and was really worried about him, she then explains that she’s worried about Karan’s reaction, as he left her once before, so she is worried if he would do the same again. Bi jee asks her to calm down, as everything will be alright.
Shrishti asks everyone to go, while she comes in, in the second Auto. Sarla agrees and they all leave for the Court.
Ganesh brings tea for Kareena and Ramona, she asks if he has given it to Mahira, then Rishab comes with Kritika and Sameer, she asks if he is sure that Mahira would stand by them? They both ask her to remain calm and not say anything in front of the family members, as it will create a big problem.
They greet them, and Rakhi comes with Karan’s Grandma, who is hurt, Rishab asks what has happened? She explains that she’s hurt, but she won’t stay back, as it’s her right to be there. He agrees to her wishes.
Karan comes asking about Mahira, so goes to check on her, Rishab is wondering what has happened with him?
