WEDNESDAY UPDATE ON ZARA’S NIKAH, 22ND OF JULY, 2020

Zeenat thanks the Doctor. The Doctor says if Zara hadn’t given Amaan juice at the right time, then they could have lost their only hope. Zeenat asks if they can meet Amaan? He says yes, but two people at a time. Ruksar tries to go inside, but Ayesha stops her and nods at Zara to go in.

Zeenat and Zara comes to Amaan’s room. Zeenat cries and hugs him. Zara asks how he is? She tells him to get better soon, then they will play Video games. Zara says to Zeenat that they can fights, but she should never think that she would ever try to hurt her Son. She puts her hand on her shoulder and smiles. Zeenat looks on.

Zara comes out of the room. Ayesha asks how he is? Zara says he’s better now. Shahbaz thanks God. Shahbaz says only 5 minutes left untill Iftar. Kabeer says he will arrange for it. The Nurse comes there and says someone is calling all of them at the waiting room.

The Family comes to the waiting room and sees Iftar food all set up there. Shahbaz asks who did all this? Miraj comes there and greets them. Ruksar smirks. Kabeer says you? Miraj says friends help friends in need, and he couldn’t do much, so he thought to bring Iftar for all of them. Kabeer says he’s his best friend from now on. Kabeer hugs him, and Zara thinks that Ruksar also played a game in fasting too? She’s indeed a jerk.

Ruksar whispers to Zara if she liked her arrangements? Flashback shows “Ruksar messaging Miraj to bring Iftar to the hospital”

Kabeer introduces everyone to Miraj, Kabeer says this is Zara Kabeer Ahmed, she greets him. He says he has heard a lot about her. Zara says she hopes he heard good things. Shahbaz says it’s time for Iftar. They all sit down. Ruksar and Zara both go to sit down beside Kabeer. Zara moves forward and sits with Kabeer. Ayesha asks ruksar to sit with her. She nods and sits with her. Zara messages Ruksar that thank you for making mine Kabeer’s first Iftar special. Ruksar glares and messages her that this is not all, the picture is remaining. Kabeer starts the prayers for Iftar, he prays that God, just you, accept our fasting. They all break their fast. Kabeer takes the food plate and says I will come back. Zara goes behind him.

Kabeer comes to Amaan’s room and tells him he’s so brave, as he left his Uncle behind him. Amaan says but he couldn’t complete his fast. Kabeer says he has done the bravest thing by having that notion to fast.

Zara comes there and says you know when I was of your age, I couldn’t even fast for just 2 hours. Amaan says he won’t eat anything now. Kabeer says not breaking fast after the time is a Sin too, he makes Amaan eat. Kabeer asks Zara if she broke her fast? She says no. Kabir says he will come, he turns to leave, but Zara holds his hand. She makes him eat a date with her hands and smiles. Zara tries to move away, but Kabeer takes a date and offers her… Tu nazm nazm sa song plays…. He makes her eat it. Zara talks to Amaan. Kabeer smiles and asks if they want an apple? Zara says no, Amaan will eat watermelon. Kabeer says he wasn’t asking him, he offers her an apple, she eats it from his hands. Kabeer eats the other half. Kabeer asks if they want an apple? Zara eats it again, Kabeer says this was for Amaan. Zara laughs. Amaan eats it.

Kabeer and Zara are leaving Amaan’s room and smiles at each other. Miraj comes there and asks Kabeer if he’s not busy, then can they walk/stroll? Kabeer asks Zara to wait in the Car, he will come later, he leaves with Miraj.

Miraj says to Kabeer that he can’t stay in Lucknow forever, so he wants someone to help him in this business, and he doesn’t want any obstacle in the process. Kabeer says he can appoint anyone. Miraj says he wanted to appoint a partner for him if he doesn’t mind. Kabeer says not at all. Miraj says after thinking, he has decided to make Ruksar his partner.

Zara hears it and says so this is Ruksar’s plan, to become closer to Kabeer by using his Project. Ruksar comes there and says yes this is my plan… think of it when I say no, and should remember when I did that drama in front of Hamdan (the guy that was chosen for her)? She says it will be fun when Kabeer tries to convince her. Zara says Kabeer won’t ever ask her to be his partner. Ruksar asks why not? Because she’s not Zara Siddiqui?

Ruksar comes to Kabeer and Miraj and says she’s sorry, and she has already told Miraj, that she doesn’t want to work outside of the house, as she doesn’t want to disappoint Shahbaz and Kabeer. Kabeer says he won’t ask her to take any action she doesn’t want to, but this Project is for the betterment of the people and they need pious people like her on it. Miraj says yes, and tells Ruksar that she will be a good addition. Ruksar says if they are both insisting, then she will think about it again. Zara hears it and looks on.

Zara comes to Ayesha and asks what she is thinking? Ayesha says Amaan is like Kabeer, and when Kabeer was 10 years old, he wanted to do hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca during the month of Dhu al-Qadah/the ultimate act of worship), but they explained to him how they need him here, and how he needs to be here for his Mom. Zara says Kabeer always wanted to fulfill duties? Zara says yes he is dutiful. Zara thinks maybe some duty will stop him from signing this Project. Ayesha sees Ruksar and Kabeer coming out of the hospital and talking, she’s not happy about it. Zara looks on.

Ayesha says to Shahbaz that now, Ruksar will work with Kabeer, and it seems like a new plot. Shahbaz says dont worry, I will get Ruksaar married right after Eid.

Zara comes to the room, Kabeer asks how is Amaan? Zara says he is better now. Kabeer says you know, Miraj wants Ruksar to work with him instead of himself. Zara says so what was his reply to that? Kabeer says I said yes, I don’t have a problem with that. Zara says to Kabeer that you said yes to working with another woman without even asking your Wife, that same Wife he had Nikah with, but you can’t take her out to work with you? Kabeer says it can be Sharia board or any Project, and he wants her to work with her, as he has no problem with Women working outside with Men, until they have the right mindset.

Ayesha says to Shahbaz that she doesn’t understand this Miraj, and Kabeer can get trapped in the wrong path. Shahbaz says even he doesn’t have a good vibes from this so called Miraj. Ayesha says then why doesn’t Shahbaz invest in Kabeer’s Project? She tells that he has the money. Shahbaz says he always told him to focus on becoming the Chiarman of the City, and Sharia board have so much money, that if he becomes the Chiarman, then he can sponsor many Projects like this on his own, but he should only focus on becoming the Chairman for now. Ayesha says but if you can help him…, Shahbaz asks her to go to sleep and leaves.

Kabeer tells Zara to change her thinking first, then he promised to make her a partner in any Project after she might have successfully done that. Zara says so he thinks that Ruksar’s thoughts is to make his Project work…? Like she wants his Project to be a success? Kabeer says it’s not about Ruksar, but Miraj who wants success, and you know even after saying yes, Ruksar could still say no, he leaves.

Zara thinks Kabeer didn’t understand her, and there is plan in Ruksar saying No too, and she feels that Ruksar’s partnership can put Kabeer into a lot of trouble, but how to save him?

Kabeer and Zara are sleeping. Alarm rings. Kabeer murmurs Zara… Zara turns off the alarm. Another one starts blaring. Kabeer wakes up and turns it off, he sees Zara sleeping and shakes her, but she still doesn’t move. Kabeer puts the phone near her ear and goes to sleep. Her phone falls down from the bed. Kabeer gets refreshed and asks Zara to wake up, as it’s time for Sehri, otherwise she can’t fast. Zara wakes up and says she thought to wake up before Ayesha to make the Sehri, but who turned off alarm? Kabeer smiles and says if Mother had relied on him, then no one would have food, and he tried to wake her up severally, but she…, come and eat. Zara laughs and runs to the Washroom.

All sit down to have Sehri. Zara says sorry Mom, I didn’t wake up on time to prepare the food. Ayesha says no worries, just take care of Kabeer. Kabeer asks Zeenat how is Amaan? Zeenat says he is fine. Kabeer asks to keep food for Amaan, he will eat in the morning. Shahbaz says to Kashan that tell his Wife to not take any decision about her Son without asking them, he nods.

Zara says Iftar party is confirmed right? Ayesha says yes. Zara says should she call the Sharia board members or him? Kabeer says he won’t go to the Sharia board for two to three days, as he has meetings. Shahbaz says he can have meetings for this Project, but Sharia board should be his first priority. Kabeer says he never backed away from his duties.

Kabeer is going for the meeting. Zara gives him his bag. Ruksar comes there and says to Kabeer that after thinking a lot, she has decided to be his partner in the Project. Kabeer says great. Zara is hurt. Ruksar says Miraj called, and he wants her to go with him today, she then asks if she could come with him? Kabeer says sure, come. Zara looks on. Ruksar takes Kabeer’s bag from Zara, she asks Kabeer to bring out the Car, while she brings his bag along. Zara glares at Kabeer, Kabeer greets her and leaves. Ruksar says to Zara that she has taken permission from Kabeer. Zara recalls “how she challenged Ruksar that Kabeer won’t ever give her the permission to work with him. Ruksar leaves.


Ayesha is sending invitations for the Party. Ayesha asks Zara and Zeenat to decide what they will make at home and what to bring out from outside? Zara says she will make the food, while Zeenat says she will make Iftar. Ayesha says fine, me and Ruksar will handle other things. Ayesha says to the Men that they will have to handle the guests.

Ruksar gives Kabeer a USB and says she has done the changes in the draft. Shahbaz asks which draft? Kabeer says his Project’s investment is getting finalized. Ayesha blesses him. Zara says they all pray for him, but he can sign the investment at Iftar when everyone is present. Ruksar says she doesn’t think they should untill evening, since Miraj has to go somewhere. Kabeer says Miraj is coming for the Iftar Party; Zara’s idea is good, they should sign it in front of all.

Zara stops Ruksar and asks if she won’t say thank you, as she made her agreement signing an event for all to witness? Ruksar says she will make her eat sweets too, as she will lose too Kabeer too today. Zara says all the devils are caught in Ramadan, but she’s still roaming around. Ruksar says herself and Miraj will play such a game that Zara won’t ever be able to smile for life! She leaves. Zara thinks what did she and Miraj plan?

Zara is cooking in the Kitchen. Ayesha asks Zeenat if she sent invitation to her family? she says yes. Ayesha says to Ruksar that she can send invitation to her friends, but she tells that she just called Miraj. Ayesha asks Zara if she will go to invite her family? Zara tells that her Mom has gone to Ajmer, but she will go and invite her father. Ayesha asks Zara what recipe is she using? Zara says same old recipe. Ayesha says if she wants to bring in new taste, then she has to break the mixture of the old spices. Zara recalls Ruksar’s challenge and thanks Ayesha.

Ruksar comes to Miraj’s house. She sees Zara and Kabeer’s many pictures on the wall and is stunned. She sees their pictures on thr dart board. She smiles at Kabeer’s picture. Miraj comes there and asks what she’s looking at? Ruksar says he really loves his partner and his Wife, that their photos are scattered everywhere here and no photo of her (Ruksar)? Miraj says to Ruksar that thank God that her picture isn’t there on this wall. He says today, the Court agreement will be signed, and he will make her half owner of his Investment. Ruksar thanks him. Miraj asks what else can she give, aside thanks? She asks for what he wants? Miraj says Security. Ruksar says it will be a beneficial deal for him, and all the profir and loss would be his, and she just wants her Kabeer. He throws a knife at Zara’s picture. Ruksar is stunned. Miraj leaves.
